The condo was clean and had all of the necessary items for a stay of a few days or a week. The view of SML from the balcony is awesome!

1. The front door screws to the door latch were falling out. I had to secure them. That was a very bush league BS issue. Made the property seem very unsafe. 2. The bathroom sink was continuously clogged up and would not drain at all. Discusting to say the lease. 3. Mysterious stains on the couch. Come on man really... 4. I suspect the owner knew about both of these issues prior to our arrival. I do not think we will stay there again.

Perks of this unit were the spacious deck and views, location, high ceilings, and the provided amenities and extras. Communication with the host was always timely and helpful. We really appreciated the fully stocked kitchen with keurig pods, water, and snacks. We didn’t have to worry about running out of toilet paper or soap and such things, as these things are plentiful in reserve. We loved watching the blue bird parents come and go constantly with food for the babies in the birdhouse on the deck and watching all the little deer all over. We played tennis a couple times, ate at Napoli on the Lake, which was very good. Unit is in a wonderful location. Our boat charter captain picked us up right at the guest dock. Also, it was very peaceful. There is just one item that could be improved, and here we have to mention that the bed was very bad. No support at all and very noisy every time you moved. The mattress — and box spring perhaps — really needs replaced.

The condo is very nice and fully equppied with supplies to meet your needs and I felt comfortable there. The view of the water is pretty and relaxing while setting out on the balcony or while in the hammocks next to the water. It was nice to have the restaurant just next door and be able to walk just a short distance to the lake fishing. The property surrounding the condo units is pretty also.

Nice location, room was clean and renter answered all questions in a timely manner.

We enjoyed staying at the condo. Location was great with a nice restaurant in easy walking distance. I have rented houses in different locations at SML and it is always fun there. Wish I could have brought our golden doodle on this trip.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay over the weekend. Nothing like a cup of coffee while watching a beautiful sunrise sky over the lake with the birds singing.

My wife and I were able to get away for a long weekend. The host was great to work with. We had a schedule change and he was able to accommodate us with no problem. The weather was perfect for what we needed and we definitely enjoyed playing pickle ball. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to get away for a couple of days.

It was a great break away from everyday life. We utilized all of the amenities on site including the restaurant. They had everything we needed.

Everything about this property is as it's told online. Beautiful view and enjoyed seeing the wildlife at night. Easy parking. All items in working order!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Bernard’s Landing! Roger was a great host and gave us everything we needed to have a great stay. The place was perfect, so clean and had a magnificent view of the place. We’re already hoping to plan another trip here again soon. :)

We enjoyed our stay at the condo! Stunning views from balcony and condo was clean. We were disappointed that the hot tub and steam room were not working at the clubhouse, but that's no fault of owner. Beautiful location and would a lot of fun in the summer for sure!

The place was great again. Second year in a row staying here. We love the view of the mountains and the lake from the living room and patio. The hot tub and indoor pool are also a nice bonus. We plan on staying here every year we come to this part of Virginia. Thanks Roger 😁

Everything was great, except the bedroom carpet needs replaced. Dirty in entrance to the room and spots thru out. Lovely neighborhood well kept

Perfect 4 night romantic getaway to this Penthouse Condo. Lots of amenities like a gym, 2 pools, sauna, hot tub, boat launch, sandy beach and amazing sunrises/sunsets. Fabulous on-site restaurant, Napolis on the Lake. Definitely order the Bourbon Chicken 🙌. We highly recommend Roger’s place and look forward to returning soon!

Everything was perfect. My nephew got married this weekend at Bernard’s Landing. The grounds there and the condo where we stayed were absolutely beautiful. We could just walk out the door and right on over to the outside venue. Perfect location for all things outside! Will definitely come back!
