I think I damaged the door lock while locking up

We quite liked the area which was coastal, with a black sand beach just a few hundred yards from the accommodation.

We found the little old cottage very cluttered with all manner of `knick knacks`. Whilst the beds were quite comfortable, both lounge seats were not ! During our stay the hot water system failed, with the owner arranging for the gas-fired boiler to be urgently replaced... the owner did take remedial steps promptly but the matter did cause material interruption to our stay ! :-( We were uncomfortable with so much of the electrics within the accommodation operating from `extension cables`! :-( The interior of the accommodation was very clean. The wi-fi facility was quite good.

1. Very dark. Popr lighting arrangement ie main door, sitting room big window, couch area etc.... 2. Very stuffy with cooking smell. No cooking hood or fan at the kitchen/ cooking stove while cooking! 3. Extremely steamy. Again, no fan installation at the bathroom. 4. Beds too soft.. a bit like sinking sand. 5. Flies everywhere the premises - unhygienic! 6. Lock at the main door can be improved more with a inside manual lock for additional protection.

Location opposite the beach. A great cafe just round the corner. Very peaceful. Cottage was very welcoming. Great to listen to some old vinyl. Very eclectic with lots of history

Place would not be for everyone. Need to be quite laid back and carefree to enjoy its potential

Small very well maintained very welcoming and homely owners were very good at communicating.

The toilet! So close to wall The 2nd bedroom was just part of main bedroom with a divider. So not much privacy for our adult friend. This is NOT a 2 bedroom cottage.

Close proximity to where workingmans club was. Nice and cosy... Lovely old school beach cottage.

1)One bedroom for 3 adults. 2)No WiFi. 3)Toilet was too cramped and no good for elderly people with mobility issues. 4)No shelf in shower. 5)shower rose could've been a bit higher (we had to crouch down)

Charming. Everything about the cottage! I wandered around for ages just looking at things. plus your property manager, Jo, was exceptionally helpful and considerate - a gem.

Lovely quaint cottage, great location and easy access would definitely look at booking again.

we walked in and immediately loved the coziness and quirky bits and pieces. loved how the history of the cottage had been retained. It had everything we needed.

Advertised as 2 bedrooms but only had one, very disappointed by this. Bathroom is made for very short people!

It was fascinating to be surrounded by history in the little cottage. The coziness and warm atmosphere made it feel like it was home away from home. We loved listening to the waves while sipping coffee in the little back yard area, and our little one absolutely loved the playground right across the road. We’ll definitely come back again!

It’s nobody’s fault, the driveway was just wide enough for our car (Toyota Wish)
