Originel in einer Ananás Plantage zu wohnen , freundliches Personnal , ein Teil da on noch in der Ausbildung ‘ Guten Essen , Nicht weit vom Zentrum

The room was very spacious, with a lot of windows and very clean. The double bed was very big, king size, and very comfortable. All windows have inner shutters that allows a full dark at night. The breakfast was very good, served at the table, including eggs that are done at the moment. The garden is very nice. Edgar is doing a good job.

Some points made me feel disappointed with the overall experience at Herdade do Ananas. 1)The house perfume used at the reception-breakfast room and corridors is too intense and very uncomfortable, it sticks to your throat. 2) We had a pineapple experience included in the price of the room but it was very disappointing. The lady guided us to the green houses (a path that is already marked, and therefore it could be done by oneself) but she didn’t explain much, just opened the houses one after the other and told what she saw. At the end of the walk, I was expecting a tasting of something made with ananas, but nothing at all is offered. For me this is not an pineapple experience at all and I do not recommend people to pay extra for it. 3) Pineapple offered for breakfast was NOT fresh ananas, it seemed canned, how can that be possible? 4) The jars of marmalade offered for breakfast are too big, so either they are spoilt after one use or they are refill, which is also not good. 5) In the garden there are some kind of gas-fired places. In the evening we asked if it was possible to fire them and we were told it was not, and offered a candle instead. 6) The jacuzzi is not inviting.

From the minute we booked our reservation the staff was in touch to ask about dinner reservations, dietary restrictions, food preferences. The property was beautifully manicured, the rooms were bright, decorated simply and elegantly. The beds were incredibly comfortable with simple clean linens. The breakfast was extraordinary with so many options of fresh juices, coffee, breads, cheeses, meats, local specialties, eggs prepared to order, pineapples from the property. All of this displayed in the the most appealing way. the hot tub was uniquely situated in one of the pineapple greenhouses. We would absolutely come back to Herdede do Ananás without hesitation.

Honestly, we had not a single complaint.

The food was amazing..rooms nice,clean and comfortable..staff very nice and helpfull and they made us feel,like we are at home..the hacienta so beautifull..we try their home made pineapple wine and juice and other home made products..we enjoy every minute..ps.you have to try jacuzzi betwen pineapples..thank you for carring for us..

Everythink was amazing

Lovely staff! Very fresh breakfast (fresh juices, home made jams, fruits...), big rooms and a large good bed, very nice property, lovely hot jaccuzi between the ananas plantages. nice to see the growing ananas.
