Exceptional and Spacious, Lake Mich Waterfront! - October Weekends Still Avail!
Questa è una splendida casa di 4200 sf con 4 camere da letto (due maestri al piano principale!) e 3. 5 bagni dotati di un ampio patio con vista sulla sponda orientale della penisola, direttamente sul lago Michigan. Perfetta per 4 coppie o famiglie multiple / allargate: questa casa può ospitare comodamente 8-12 persone. La spaziosa e confortevole camera familiare di questa casa offre un camino a legna e una TV a schermo piatto 60 via cavo. Per ascoltare la musica sono disponibili sia WiFi che stereo surround per connessioni IPad / IPod. Al piano principale ci sono due master suite, entrambe con un letto king size e ognuna con un bagno privato annesso. Entrambe le master suite dispongono di una serie di porte finestre che conducono all'esterno per godersi lo spettacolare suono delle onde che colpiscono la riva. Queste suite hanno anche i loro caminetti a gas. Il più grande dei due maestri al piano principale è indicato come la Lodge Suite, recentemente rinnovata, tra cui un mobile bar, una zona soggiorno privata e una sala per 4 stagioni. Al piano superiore avrete due ulteriori camere da letto molto spaziose - anche con letti king - che condividono un bagno completo. Ognuna di queste camere dispone di porte finestre che conducono ad un balcone per il divertimento all'aperto. Entrambe le camere da letto al piano superiore dispongono di divani estraibili di dimensioni standard per ospiti aggiuntivi. La cucina di dimensioni generose, recentemente rinnovata (2019) ben arredata ha una gamma / forno commerciale, forno a microonde e dispensa per la conservazione. Le sistemazioni per mangiare includono un tavolo per 8 persone, un'isola cucina per 4 persone e un bar per altri 5 ospiti. L'ampio patio fronte lago offre spazio per pranzare e rilassarsi, sperimentando albe notevoli, un focolare per le serate e viste in continua evoluzione sul lago. L'accesso alla spiaggia è disponibile a pochi minuti a piedi lungo Glidden Drive dove è possibile accedere a sabbia e nuoto. Lenzuola e asciugamani sono inclusi e molti altri servizi. Le stagioni di spalla / bassa stagione sono un minimo minimo di 3 notti e Prime Summer è un minimo di 7 notti per questa casa, dal lunedì al lunedì.

We had a beautiful 10 person family reunion. There was nothing that wasn't perfect. We were all very sad to leave.

I wasn't sure that the property could live up to the pictures. It did and so much more. For a family, there are lots of gathering places, inside and out. All of the rooms are updated and huge. More amenities than we've ever had in a VRBO. So many things that we bring in a tub, were already provided. Kris was excellent in communicating! The views are head-shaking! 10/10!

The decor is a little odd, but the space is very comfortable. Great kitchen for cooking with a crowd. Big dining room table. Incredible view and the sound of waves makes it very relaxing. The beach is about a ten minute walk (if you have kids in tow) and is small but not busy. 4 king beds are very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked and excellent for home cooking. House is very comfortable. Access to the concrete pad needs to be maintained as grass is very high. Would recommend this property as property manager was excellent and response to issue with TV was very prompt.

Great Week
While the home was not quite ready for summer, with a few tweaks we were living comfortably. Gorgeous week of perfect weather and stunning views. Lots of room and very well appointed. 50' out the back to the water. 1000' to beaches.

The view from the house was spectacular, as the waves were crashing in on the rocks. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked. Overall our best vacation as a family in Door County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on Glidden drive. There was room for all of us to be together, as well a rooms to have time alone. The house was the perfect setting for our trip - lots of spaces for gathering & spending time together and plenty of room for alone time, when needed. We could have happily stayed at the house enjoying the lake view (we were lucky with some very calm days and some days with beautiful waves) but the house was also perfectly situated to get out and explore Door County.
There were a few instances of handymen/gardeners dropping in that we didn't receive any warning about but it hardly disturbed us or our plans. We'd definitely go back again!

Door county vacation
This is a lovely home. The rooms are spacious and perfect for our needs. The location on the lake is idyllic and made for peaceful evenings by the bonfire. Kris is a wonderful host who was immediately available to address any (minor) concerns.

A beautiful property
The house is beautiful. Beautiful kitchen to cook in, lots of storage for food and good assortment of spices. No ice maker! The beds were comfortable. Not enough washcloths for all of us. The gas grill was FILTHY, but after cleaning was fine. The directions for garbage pickup are ambiguous/contradictory/wrong? but we managed, I guess. (Left everything in the garage) There are some steps to living room and bedroom and patio areas without railings. The house was clean and comfortable and th view of the water was unbelievable! Would definitely return - one of the BEST things (and reason we rented in the first place) was the four KING beds. With 4 couples (us and our 3 daughters /husbands) it is very hard to find that. Queen beds don't work! Would definitely return here if we get the chance. Jane

Nice stay. Beautiful property! The lake water was extremely cold while we were there, so not much swimming. Would stay again. Great place for 3-4 couples to stay.

Large home, stunning view
Arrangement was not quite what was pictured in the photographs. Plenty of room for everyone ,large enough refrigerator for all meals to be home cooked. Lots of extras. Had a large enough water heater we could run the dishwasher, washing machine and take showers all at the same time.

Expectations not met
A beautiful setting and home minus the ants in kitchen and no A/C working for 3 of the 5 nights stay. The listing boasted about a “private swimming cove.” Yes, there is a cove but it didn’t mention it’s very difficult & no safe way to access the cove.
Disappointed in the customer service from
Owner. I believe a credit of some kind should have been offered for the 3 nights of warm, uncomfortable temps. Inside the house. No one followed up with us to make sure A/C was working and if we were satisfied. This is an expensive home to rent and should be enjoyable each day.

vacation during Covid-19
We chose this property after our trip to Ireland was cancelled due to covid-19. The house was big and allowed everyone to spread out and have their own space. We cooked half of our meals in the big kitchen at the house and the others we ate out. There were plenty of restaurants that had outdoor seating and social distancing. There are many state and county parks to hike and do outdoor activities. While not Ireland, our vacation was very enjoyable.

Great weekend
Great property with wonderful lake views plenty of space for the couples that came. Clean and well thought out. Property manager was responsive and handled a call in off hours to help with check in which was appreciated. Thank you for a great weekend and making my wife’s birthday special. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place to Stay in Door County!
Seven of us enjoyed three wonderful days at this beautiful and very private lake home following a Packer Game. The views and sounds of the lake were spectacular, and the house was very spacious, very comfortable, and well equipped. To top off our stay we had a fabulous dinner just 5 minutes away at the Glidden Lodge - amazing prime rib!
Overall this is a great place to stay in Door County!

Great place for a Door County getaway!
Four couples stayed here over a long weekend. It's perfect for such a trip. Each bedroom has a king bed, so you don't need to worry about which couple gets what room. The patio on the lake is magnificent. We spent each evening with a fire and each morning looking at the sunrise. We will be back!

The sunrises were spectacular. The patio was perfect to watch the waves and the boats. The open concept of the house
is very nice, it keeps everyone together. Plenty of room for parking also.
