I loved the view from this property. I loved that the major amenities were available. I loved the location due to being moose country and it was quiet and gave a relaxing atmosphere.

Even though we loved the location, views, relaxing atmosphere the master bedroom with the queen bed caused major issues. upon going upstairs we found the bedroom swarming with most likely over 60-80 houseflies and lady bugs. they were on the ceiling, the bed, the walls, by the door, and was also goi g into the 2nd bedroom upstairs. normally A fly or A couple of bugs would have been ok but I could not even think about laying down in the bed with so many flying everywhere. my husband opened the door to the deck and let about 20 out however, after a few minutes we went back upstairs and it seemed like they were still growing in numbers. all that was left was a futon downstairs and I have a bad back with pending surgery and the futon was not an option. so I called they were gonna send someone out then a manager contacted me her name was Amber and after explaining she apologized and after a short bit of time and a panic attack we decided to just head home instead of waiting to be put into another house. Amber gave me her direct number and informed me that the payment would be refunded. I sent pics and videos to the email I was provided and now 5 days since leaving and Amber has not picked up my calls or returned my calls from my voicemail. I will never use a Acadia again. I’ve used many Airbnb and you know who you are speaking with instead of a call center with a Vacasa. This ruined our getaway, and although I would love to give a great review because the outside was beautiful, the swarm of bugs in the master bedroom(largest bed) was not acceptable by any standards. Now waiting on another call back from another manager to see about my refund. awful experience.

The views from the cabin were wonderful and the cabin very comfortable.

The instructions from the website were not consistent after arriving and reviewing the binder. No detergent provided, very few condiments in kitchen, and no fire logs provided. For a short stay, not welcoming since all things would need to be purchased prior to arriving. We had to make several trips into town. It would have been nice to have had this disclosed and as other cabins we rented provide complimentary items. It would have been also nice to also have lake equipment provided since there is a dock on the property. Other couples we talked to on the same lake had kayaks or canoes with their rentals.
