This home ticked off every box for us. Charm, immaculately clean, comfortable, amenities and location. Everything we wanted to do was within our reach. The owner, Lori, was incredibly helpful with winery and restaurant suggestions which were thoroughly enjoyed by us. What I will miss most is the early cool mornings, enjoying coffee and conversation with my daughters around the fire pit on the beach looking out over beautiful Seneca Lake. Total peace, love and tranquility. You will have no regrets if you choose to stay here. I know i will be back. Thank you Lori and Eric for sharing your lovely home.

Excellent property, even better than what the photos depict. Perfect location on the west side of Seneca Lake. Short drives to both Geneva, Watkins Glen, and Penn Yan. Breweries and wineries are located very close to the property. Lori was very responsive and helpful with any questions we sent her way. Beautiful views of the lake. Multiple outdoor sitting areas. Used the waterfront fire pit a few nights. Enjoyed the kayaks that are provided. Already booked a longer stay in 2024. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the property! The house was clean and had everything we needed to have a fun week at the lake. We spent a lot of time on the sun porch. The kayaks were so much fun. We will miss floating in the lake and sipping wine on the dock!

House was clean, check in and out were easy. Our toddler loved the sand pit and we loved looking for rocks and sea glass in the beach areas as well as having our morning coffee on the deck. Would definitely stay again, great location!

We had a great time at Lori and Eric’s lake house. The house was exceptionally clean! The kitchen was well stocked and they left a binder filled with great information about the area. Lori and Eric were quick to respond to emails and texts. We had a death in our family right before our vacation. Lori was so supportive during this difficult time. We truly appreciated her kindness ❤️. Lori and Eric are the best of the best! We highly recommend this house to any family looking to get away for a week to relax, go fishing, visit wineries, go on bike rides and hikes. Thank you Lori and Eric!

The home was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed for a relaxing girls week away. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioners worked great at keeping the home cool, the house layout was perfect. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the dock and games in the enclosed porch overlooking the lake. Lori was great with communication and answering any questions we had. We ventured out to wineries (we were surprised that most close at 5:00 which we were not accustomed to) and down to Watkins Glen State Park which was beautiful. We enjoyed hanging out at the house, kayaking and soaking in the sun as well. Thanks for "lending" us your home for the week Lori.... we loved it.

My husband and I rented this beautiful cottage right on Seneca Lake. The property and home are well cared for and super clean! Communication with Lori & Eric was fantastic! Kitchen was well equipped. Cottage was nicely updated. Sunroom sits right on the water with windows all around for a full view. They have 4 kayaks and plenty of lifejackets for enjoying the lake. We were there with our two adult sons and daughter-in-law and were very comfortable in the 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath home. The A/C units in the bedrooms and downstairs kept the cottage nice and cool. We could have easily stayed another week! So much to do in the area with wineries, breweries and cideries in abundance and the nice shops and restaurants in Penn Yan and Watkins Glen. The Windmill Market is near by and a fun stop on a Saturday. Thank you so much Lori & Eric for sharing your beautiful home with us and for all your hospitality.

This was our 2nd year there and it was as great as last time. Have already booked for next year.

This was our second time renting from Lori and Eric, and we had another exceptional week. The house is a quaint lakeside house with an exceptional easterly view over Seneca Lake. For us the location is perfect as it provides a quiet retreat where we "disappear" for a week and avoid the distractions of our normally hectic lives. The house has a well equipped kitchen...very important for us since we like to cook...comfortable rooms, and a cozy gas fireplace (I believe new over the past year) in the living room area that helped stave off the chill from the evening breeze off the lake. Kayaking, hiking up the gorge in Watkins Glen, restaurants near Geneva and Penn Yan, and plenty of wineries and micro-breweries are nearby to sample. An excellent area and a most inviting property. We will certainly be back again. Thanks to Lori and Eric for a great week!

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The best part of this house was being by the water. Waking up in the morning and walking over to the firepit area, with a cup of coffee was the highlight of most of my mornings. The area was very quiet and serene and one of our guests took daily walks around the neighborhood and even met a few neighbors who was truly very sweet. The house was perfect for us two traveling couples and I have to say the best room was the one with the full size bed and bunkbeds, as it overlooked the lake and sent calming wave sounds into the room at all hours of the day. Unfortunately, I gave that room up, but I know better for next time. The heating system was perfect for one of the days where the temperature dropped to 34 degrees. Supermarkets were also pretty close to grab some last minute household items. I think our only issue was connectivity to internet and confusion on the garbage bags; color and type. We had planned on having a movie night while we worked on a puzzle, but the cable/internet kept kicking us off, so we just drank wine and sat by the fire instead. Not too shabby. And we eventually (I hope) figured out the garbage bag situation. We never had a need to reach out to the Property Manager, because everything else was pretty self explanatory. Overall we had a pretty wonderful time. Thanks again for letting us stay at your home! :)

Great home base for exploring the Finger Lakes.

I highly recommend this house, especially if you like to relax near the lake. Very clean and incredible views of the lake. Access to kayaks and a pier was a plus. Host stayed in touch and was quick to answer any questions. We enjoyed our stay!

Amenities were wonderful as was the bed. The porch inside and overlooking the water is great for meals or just relaxing. Used the outdoor fire pit 3 times which was lovely. I would suggest the owners provide a starter bundle of dry firewood to start people off as a nice amenity. Owners were super nice and were able to accommodate a late check out on our last day especially since the weather did not cooperate the first two days. Only thing people should note is property is right next to neighbor properties so it can get a little noisy when your neighbors are out and about with the kids. But definitely will come back again regardless. Price was right as well.

I’m so glad we found this cabin to rent. The owner Lori welcomed us with open arms (virtually). She checked in with me a couple times just to ensure our needs were met. Our group consisted of 5 women this cabin provided the space needed to unwind, put together puzzles or lounging on the balcony. It was perfect. I highly recommend this place.

While the house and property were perfect for a lake vacation, we especially enjoyed the quiet town and proximity to lots of activities. Lori was exceptionally responsive to any questions and gave great recommendations for things to do. We will be back!

We had a fabulous time at Lori’s house. The house has absolutely everything to make your vacation special. Nestled in a quiet cove the property is lakeside with a great dock . The house has great charm with a very peace vibe. We loved it and would definitely rent again.

We had a wonderful stay. Lori (host) was attentive, but not intrusive. The property is well maintained, clean and has gorgeous views of the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Our daughter was getting married at a nearby brewery and we wanted a place to stay nearby and a house for the bridal party to get ready. The Lake House was perfect. Large enough for the wedding party to stay and have hair and make up done. Outstanding settings for first look picture and lakeside pictures of the bridal party. The house provided an excellent place to relax on the waterfront after the wedding. Everything we could think we needed was provided. Great setting right in the water. We are already looking for a week next summer for another family vacation. We highly recommend this property.

Everything was managed professionally and with an eye for comfort and enjoyment. The kitchen was thoroughly equipped, the bed was comfortable, the options for relaxing are varied. The hosts are responsive and offer fantastic sightseeing suggestions. The interior was spotless! I thoroughly recommend this property.

The property was even better than the pictures. Location was great, and beautiful. Would recommend for any family. It does have several steps so should be aware of that.

I can’t fully say how wonderful our nine nights were at this property! Since our daughter was graduating from college in Geneva, we thought we would take the chance to combine the event into a quiet lake side vacation. This location did not disappoint. The house is set at the bottom of a nicely appointed set of stairs which provides for the feeling of seclusion. The lakeside view to the east allows for beautifully appointed sunrises (for those like me who are early risers) while sitting on the back deck or patio, and it was easy to loose track of time reading and drinking coffee. The house itself is well appointed with a roomy first floor living area and three season room, dining area, and a well equipped kitchen (full size refrigerator/freezer, gas stove and oven, and a separate wine refrigerator) with every cooking utensil and appliance necessary for food preparation which is a very important thing for us. Upstairs there are three bedrooms that are more than comfortable for anyone’s needs, and the roomy bathroom has a large stone tiled walk-in shower. Staying here feels like you are “off the beaten path”, but the location is actually very convenient. The house is only about 15 minutes from Geneva to the north, 25 minutes to Watkins Glenn to the south, and about 10 minutes from Penn Yan to the west which gives you plenty of options for restaurants and grocery stores. If you are into Finger Lakes wine exploring, this house is in the heart of the western Seneca Lake wineries. Although Dresden itself is small and doesn’t have much in the way of dining, there is a great ice cream stand that should be part of your daily routine. The property owners Lori and Eric are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and communicative. We are looking forward to future stays with them!

Lori's place turned out to be just what we needed. We met up with 2 family members and had a lovely relaxing couple of days. The house was spotlessly clean. Always a priority, I believe. We only ate out once, so we greatly appreciated the very well-stocked kitchen. The baths and kitchen have been recently done, so that was really nice. There were several spots outside to just sit and relax. We did not go in the water, which is clear, but weedy. Lori was a great communicator who seemed very concerned that we found everything to our liking. She gets an A+. There is really nothing to the town of Dresden, but Watkins Glen and the waterfalls in Ithaca were a must see. Penn Yan was close by and a cute little town. Bottom line....we would stay there again!

Property was great but listing should indicate it is not handicap accessible as the step steps inside and outside could be problematic

Second time around in this property and it was even better than the first time. Lori and Eric are excellent, very easy to work with and willing to help anytime you need to text or call. House was clean and very well stocked. Boats, fire pit, dock, etc. were well used outside. Would stay here again and again.

We had the best time on Seneca Lake. The property and host were fantastic. The water views and house were wonderful. Our whole family enjoyed the water and used the kayaks everyday. We took advantage of the area and toured many of the breweries. Watkins Glen Park is a must see attraction south of Dresden. Lori was a gracious host and always quick to respond to an inquiry about places to eat and things to check out. I would highly recommend this house and the area to anyone. I’ve always wanted to visit the Finger Lakes region and this didn’t disappoint. Thank you Lori for your hospitality.

The Lake House is really a lovely spot. We love the enclosed porch and the lake view.

The kitchen and baths appear to have recently been updated. Flooring as well. The kitchen is wonderfully stocked. Loved the pantry cupboard! Enclosed porch on the lake side was great place for the kids to entertain themselves for a while. Neighbors were friendly and helpful. What more could we ask for - except a bit more sunshine!
