Lovely Log Home on 5 acres w/ Unreal Views of Lake Superior, 1.6 mi to ski hill
Rimarrai completamente colpito e stupito da ogni singola caratteristica di questa nuovissima e squisita casa di tronchi. Potrebbe essere nascosto nel bosco in un modo molto privato, ma è comunque bello e vicino a tutti i servizi di cui si potrebbe aver bisogno durante una vacanza sulla North Shore. Il deserto attende proprio fuori dalla porta principale. Salta sul sentiero escursionistico superiore o sul sistema di piste da sci di fondo Sugarbush. Sono entrambi a solo un minuto di distanza ... letteralmente! L'accesso alla pista per motoslitte è a solo un miglio lungo la strada ed è a 5 minuti di auto dal comprensorio sciistico dei Monti Lutsen. Non dimenticare di portare con te le bici perché il sentiero asfaltato è accessibile a soli 30 secondi di distanza. Non c'è assolutamente nulla di sbagliato nel rimanere semplicemente e godersi le incredibili viste sul Lago Superiore dal ponte espansivo. Rilassati davanti al camino o goditi un po 'di tempo insieme nel portico di 4 stagioni. C'è una master suite al piano superiore della casa, una grande camera da letto al livello principale della casa con un bagno in tutta la sala e due camere da letto con un bagno completo in tutta la sala al piano inferiore. I bambini adoreranno assolutamente la camera da letto a castello! C'è anche una barra personalizzata nel livello inferiore, insieme a una grande TV per lo streaming di film e spettacoli. Com'è perfetto che ci siano viste sul Lago Superiore da ogni livello !? Goditi la firepit all'aperto ma tieni presente che dovrai fornire la tua legna da ardere. Diversi negozi locali lo vendono, quindi è facile da ottenere. Il livello di comfort, l'arredamento, la disposizione perfetta, i tavoli e il bar su misura, la vera attenzione ai dettagli, la posizione comoda, la vista sul lago ... non si può battere.

This cabin was one of our favorite things about our trip up north. It is beautiful inside and out and the hosts thought off all the little things - board games, toys for kids, fully equipped kitchen, local coffee, and more! We were blown away by the gorgeous view and enjoyed a campfire at the pit outside. We loved cooking in the kitchen, putting together puzzles, and exploring all the area had to offer. We can't wait to come back and enjoy this perfect home!

The stay exceeded our expectations. Perfect spot for our family get together. Well worth the cost. Many activities, games, children's toys, not one thing we needed they didn't have. Would rent again.

This was our third stay at this house and we love it so much! Linda is so kind and responsive. It’s the only vrbo we’ve stayed at that supplies so many thoughtful amenities as well. Just be aware of the local black bear that lives in the area, he came by every night we were there. We didn’t leave any food out but he might’ve smelled remnants of s’mores by the campfire!

This was one of the best rentals I've stayed at in a while. The quality of the home and all furnishings and items were top notch. The house had everything we needed and more! Beautiful views of Lake Superior and no neighbors in sight. We would love to come back and stay - no matter what time of year, this is a perfect vacation rental!

This is our second visit and it did not disappoint! The house is perfect for an extended family to gather while enjoying the North Shore. Clean and spacious! This home will always be at the top of our list when visiting the Lutsen area.

This was a great place for our group! We had 6 adults and 3 kids for our ski weekend group. We really enjoyed our time in this lovely cabin! Very comfortable and beautiful.

We stayed here for a family “ski” trip. The weather was unseasonably warm and we didn’t do much skiing but house did not disappoint and was close to Lutsen and other activities. Overall the house was beautiful with unique details and had an incredible view of the lake.

Such a beautiful home and property! We stayed mid-December and enjoyed the beautifully decorated tree w/lights. Even though it rained all weekend, we played cards & puzzles in the 4-season porch, sat in front of the gas fireplace, made pasta in the amazing kitchen, well stocked & great counter space and got to chose between 2 outdoor bonfire pits. Rooms & sitting areas were cozy, great textures, rugs & blankets. Comfy beds and amazing bedrooms & bathrooms. This home was even lovelier than the pictures; our adult kiddos and morher-in-law agree!

We all absolutely loved the place and location. We try to get to the North Shore of Lake Superior as often as we can for our yearly get-together. This VRBO home was definitely in the top 5. It was clean, well stocked, beautifully decorated, great location to many hiking trails, attractions in the area, and shopping needs. The furnishings and beds were very comfortable. The views were spectacular. We lucked out with perfect weather. We would definitely stay here again with no hesitation.

The cabin was the perfect place for our 3 night stay on the North Shore! It was conveniently located, yet tucked away in a wonderful setting in the woods - and there were beautiful views of Lake Superior! The kitchen was very well equipped and the space was very comfortable - could easily accommodate 6-8 adults and provide all with personal as well as communal space. The beds were luxurious and bathrooms were well stocked with lovely towels, soap, lotion, etc. We had everything we needed! I'd definitely recommend a stay and hope we will be able to come back again!

This is our fifth time staying at Sawtooth Mountain Hideaway and it never fails to disappoint. The homeowners have impeccable attention to detail, continue to think of everything and update items year after year as needed. We love all the beautiful textures and cozy blankets scattered about the house. Our kids appreciate the games and toys. One of the things we enjoy doing both at home and while away is cooking and the kitchen here is stocked with EVERYTHING we need! One of our favorite rooms is what we call “the puzzle room” where we toil over puzzles we don’t make time to complete back at home. The Property Manager goes above and beyond and any concerns that have ever come up (which have been very few) are addressed immediately. This really is more than a rental property, it’s a home and we are so grateful for the opportunity to make memories here year after year with our family. THANK YOU!

We have stayed in quite a few rental homes and/or condos in MN and AZ throughout the years, but not a one of them could compare to this stunning home! Everything in the home is super clean, tidy, comfortable, and inviting! A great feature of the location is that it is in a private area with a fabulous view of Lake Superior, and it is within a short distance to the general stores in Tofte and Lutsen, as well as various hiking trails, shopping in Grand Marais, golfing at Superior National, and fun at Lutsen Mountain. We loved staying at this home so much that as soon as we could, we booked it again for our next summer’s family vacation.

We all loved this property - fresh, clean, beautifully decorated spaces with plenty of room to gather and also nice rooms to go our separate ways on three levels. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots more. We've rented different places in the area almost every summer and this is our favorite by far. Hoping to be repeat customers!

We had a great family vacation with our grown children in this stunning, spacious, and well-appointed home with upscale amenities. Three floors, four bedrooms and three baths provided privacy while the common areas inside and out brought us together for meals and activities. We loved the beautiful view of Lake Superior and the secluded acreage. It was the perfect home-base with a kitchen and bar fully stocked with lots of dishes, cookware, utensils, glassware, and barware. Even a spice cabinet full of seasonings and oils! After days spent hiking, biking, exploring rivers, waterfalls, towns and shorelines, we enjoyed the firepits and bag toss in the evenings. The comfortable and luxurious beds and linens afforded all a good night's sleep! Communication with the property manager was a true pleasure. We highly recommend this property!

The cabin was exactly as described. It had everything available to make it feel like home. The kitchen was fully stocked as stated (most places say they have items and don't, but this rental had extra and good quality items). The beds were comfortable. The view of Lake Superior was awesome.

Our family had a wonderful time. This cabin was beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. They truly thought of everything. Gorgeous decor, new furnishings and a newly built cabin made for a very enjoyable stay. We would 100% recommend and would definitely book again. We did notice a sauna which we're hoping is a future planned amenity for guests. Thank you for sharing your slice of the Lutsen area with us.

Absolutely gorgeous property and a perfect place to spend our Christmas holiday. The house is extremely spacious and with a party of nine adults there was ample room to gather together in the great room or family room, while also having other spaces to spread out for a secluded place to read, relax or just take a nap (sun room, loft, beautiful bedrooms). The entire house is tastefully decorated, has great amenities throughout, and has an amazing view of Lake Superior. And we were all so pleasantly surprised to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the great room when we arrived and some holiday decorations throughout.
We experienced great customer service from the property manager and owner as both were attentive when the power went out a couple times, as two of the days we were there was during the crazy winter storm when power went out a bit for the whole area. But it was the perfect location to snuggle up and visit by candlelight as the wind howled outside. We also accidentally left one of our backpacks there on checkout and the property manager was extremely helpful in locating it and shipping it to us.
We would definitely come back to this place. The entire property (grounds) was spacious as well and we would love to experience it during the fall or summer.

Property is as advertised. Very Private and cozy with great views. Very comfortable accommodations for 8 adults.
I would recommend a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you are staying during the winter. The private road into the property is steep and can be slippery. Definitely would stay again.

This was our 5th year in a row staying here for our girls weekend. It couldn’t be more perfect! As usual the house is perfect and we enjoyed the beautiful views it has to offer. We just love this house and location!

Charming & Cozy Cabin
A beautiful cabin in a great location. It has a nice open layout that made it easy for everyone to enjoy time together while cooking in the kitchen, playing games at the table and relaxing in front of the fireplace. There was plenty of room and it was very cozy. The furniture was comfortable and the decor is really neat!

Perfect girls weekend getaway
We had such a nice time at the Sawtooth Mountain Hideaway....the location is wonderful to explore all the local hiking trails, the home is spacious and well appointed with high end furnishings and decor, and the views - well we were outside most of the time surrounded by nature itself. It was a lovely weekend and we were able to enjoy both Lake Superior views and the coziness of friends by the fire (indoors) and a bonfire too. There are so many areas to enjoy in this home - so everyone can be together, or have their own space for a bit. We look forward to going back, as its just gorgeous!

Breathtaking!
From the view, to the accommodations and all the little details in between, This place is the total package. You will not be disappointed! There were 6 of us. We all had plenty of space to gather of sneak off and read a book.
