Location very convenient for us. Parking was important to us as well. The upgrade since our last visit was excellent. Unfortunately no time for breakfast. L

Great people. Room was basic and old but acceptable and clean

The staff, bar, and restaurant. it is a picturesque quaint pub.

The room, No.4, was really a single-sized room with a double bed squeezed in, the bathroom door did not open fully. I had to sleep against a hot radiator and hardly slept a wink all night, the matres was hard and I had to climb out of the bed, as it was up against a wall, to go to the toilet and could not help disturbing my wife, therefore depriving her of sleep. The TV remote locked up, I could switch it on but none of the buttons worked and no staff were available to help at 7 am. The bathroom was very tight and unsatisfactory, and looking around the room there were so many other issues; the duvet did not seem big enough, use of gang sockets, loose wiring, and just not enough room for two people to comfortably use it.

The staff were very friendly and attentive

My room was at the front of the pub and the road noise kept me awake, sadly because of the age of the building the windows were only single glazed.

We stayed at this property after walking from Hambleden in Henley so this was a welcome rest and we had dinner and breakfast which were both outstanding and host Daneilla was amazing 😁
