I liked the location. Close to hairdresser, laundry mat , and supermarket. Kitchen had everything you’d need to cook meals. Short walk to the beach. This was located Closer to cliffs to hike to the top and get a Birds Eye view. The Swing at the top was a bonus.

The location is great, very close to the sea and the beachfront shops and restaurants, with a supermarket right opposite the property, a laundromat a few doors down and located just round the corner from the Tourist Information Office. The bus station is a five to six minute walk away. I stayed in an apartment on the third floor which was spacious, cool and comfortable with a wide terrace with sea view and two sun loungers, a small table and two chairs to sit out on. The bathroom is large enough for a full bath as well as a bidet, and the kitchen is well equipped for anyone who likes to cook. The wifi is excellent, as was the coffee machine - the capsules get replenished periodically by the lovely cleaning ladies who do a terrific job - the place is spotless. No one could ask for a better or more responsive host. When the cable TV - previously very reliable - gave out at a critical moment, Marco responded immediately to my text and monitored the situation to ensure that everything returned to normal, which it did within an hour or so. And after I checked out, when I discovered I'd somehow managed to leave behind a prized shawl and texted him in something of a panic, he located it and offered to keep it for collection. In short, this place is brilliant. If it's available for your dates, book it.

These aren't negatives, just practical facts to be aware of. 1. There is no elevator, so if you have bags that are difficult to haul upstairs, this might not be the place for you. 2. You may be asked to call the property on arrival and wait for five minutes until someone arrives to check you in.

Cleaning staff was very friendly. Couldn't do enough for us. Real Portuguese people in a sea of tourists. Good attention to detail. Exceptionally clean.

The location is great if you like being in a central location. There are cafes, restaurants, shops nearby. The beach is less than a 10 min walk away. You can walk to the big wave view point via the steps (25 min) or catch the tram up the hill. The beds and pillows are very comfy. John the host was very helpful. We had a few issues to rectify at the start of our trip. John always helped us when we needed him.

We had a few issues with a broken window and boiler. John the host was very helpful and all the issues were resolved within a matter of hours. We stayed in the winter months so the apartment was cold, but John provided us with heaters. The apartment was very cosy and warm with the use of the heaters. Thank you for all your help, John!

Nice place to stay for workaction! Lovely and helpful stuff! Next to the apartment supermarket, market (7-13pm) and all the cafes, you live already among locals but it is 2 min to the central beach, adore! Also WE HAD the ocean view from the apartment (that WAS OUTSTANDING).

I was so pleasantly surprised at the space I had. the patio and sea views. This tiny space was perfect for me, it is centrally located with a supermarket and laundry on the street. I booked another four nights, I’m in love with Nazare.

The pillows are not great.

The host went above and beyond and let us check in earlier as we were arriving from a long trip. This helped us settle down and feel welcomed.

There were enough blankets to sleep which was good, but we were a bit cold at night and we wondered if there was a heating device in the apartment - it would've made our stay a 10/10.

Property is old and outdated

Apartment was spotless. I loved the unique character of the architecture inside room. Short walk to the beach & nearby restaurants. The Mercado Market was an unexpected treat - happened upon it opening when I was moving car to new parking spot.

Parking was a challenge. While there was free parking about 500 meters down the street, it was completely full when I arrived. I was fortunate to get a metered street spot in front of Subvilla when I arrived; however, it required paying for parking every hour with exact change. So I had to get 0.80 euro in change to feed the machine every hour until after 20:00 when it was free until 8:00. I was able to secure a free spot early the next morning but was hesitant to venture out to nearby villages for fear of not finding a parking spot again. If you're traveling without a car, no worries!

A good location in the centre of Nazare with clean, spacious rooms. A good size apartment overall and well equipped.

The parking......very tricky to park in Nazare wherever you're staying.

Absolutely super place right in the centre with everything you need to even permanently live there. Hosts were super helpful and very nice people. It is located 1 min away from the beach, few steps away from the shops. Don’t know what’s not to like.

The location is good, 5 min walk to the beach and 20 min to Sítio de Nazaré. The apartment was properly clean and there was everything you could need during a stay. Easy check out - you just have to leave the key in a mailbox.

The reception desk is only open for the matter of check in, from what I understood so it's hard to ask for any help during your stay. Very poor acustics - you get to hear everything from the street. Windows shutters do not close properly. There was no washing machine in the apartment , which might be handy for a longer stay.
