We had an amazing week stay in this beach cottage. The house was spotless and exactly as advertised. The access to the beach was very convenient and the part of the beach near the house was much less crowded than other areas. The property is conveniently located on the island near shopping and restaurants. We would definitely rebook a stay at this property.

We needed to travel to Bradenton Beach because our son was graduating from dental school. We were looking for a small, affordable place to stay. The minute we stepped into the house (I called it a cottage), were were amazed! It's bright and beautiful!! Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING we needed was right there! They even has supplies for Smores! The decor is bright and beachy (but not overly so). I am amazed at how well they put everything in place so that it looks roomy and open despite being a cottage. There are beach toys, chairs, and an umbrella. The hot tub was awesome!! There's an outdoor shower. If it's too hot in the afternoon to sit outside, you can move the chairs to the back, where there is plenty of shade. We enjoyed watching the pigeons next door and the big lizards on the trees. We also loved the people-watching. We would sit on the patio at night and lots of people would be walking back and forth to the beach. The grocery store and drugstore are just a 5-minute drive away. And, of course, it literally takes 2 minutes to walk across the street to the beach. We could hear the waves pounding the sand at night. Best of all was Tom, who checked in to see how we were doing, and who was extremely helpful about EVERYTHING! When we go back, we're definitely staying in that beautiful house again! :) I've rented lots of places and this one was, by far, THE BEST! :)

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Tom's property so much. It was a much needed vacation for both of us after a stressful year. Everythibng was perfect, the property is well maintained, great bed, water pressure, and S'mores, lol. Everything we needed except for food was provided, beach tpwels, chairs, umbrellas, beach wagon. Truly one of our est vacations, Thank you Tom!!

Love the big courtyard adds so much extra room. The hot tub was great and we used it every day. Loved the property!

Great location just steps from the beach. Very easy to get across the road in front of the cottage. Everything was very clean and as described. Easy check in and excellent communication with Tom. The little courtyard was very nice for us to sit in with our dogs.

This was better than expected right size for my wife and I. Very clean close to everything.

We loved the Little Mermaid just steps away from the beach, it was clean with modern beach decor, offering a hot tub, outdoor shower and fire pit. The cottage has clean towels, a comfortable bed, and nice dishes, and coffee and everything you need to make s'mores. Every day I woke up and simply crossed the street to access the beach. My husband and I enjoyed the cottage with out 13 year old son who simply enjoy beach life. It was a true vacation to unwind, relax, explore, and eat and see so many dolphins in the wild.

We have been going to Anna Maria Island for 20 years and this was a great stay for us. It was the perfect sized place for my wife and I for a long weekend stay. Awesome location and parking. Clean and very nicely decorated!

This was the perfect place for my husband and me for a week stay on Anna Maria Island. The beach is right across the street and is way less crowded than other beaches. It is quite a walk to any restaurants and bars, but a trolley stops right in front of the house for a free ride anywhere on the island.

Super easy process. Owners were great, even allowed a late checkout to accommodate a late evening flight. Perfect location. Beautiful beach. Hot tub made a good place to spend the morning. Beach chairs and umbrellas were a life saver! We will be back!

Cute and very clean home with short walk to the beach. All the amenities were fully stocked, the host was wonderful to work with! Will definitely be staying again!

The house is adorable, very clean and well stocked. They have a Keurig and even supply the coffee, creamers and sugar. A welcome basket for smores for the fire pit, all the utensils and spices you might need, very soft bed, a lighted umbrella for the outside table, all in all very welcoming. Just a short walk to a very nice beach that was never crowded. The host was so very nice, responsive and accommodating to any and all questions. . We enjoyed our stay very much and plan on renting here again!

This was the perfect venue for our first family vacation with our 6 month old. We were so thankful for amenities like a high chair, (I think there is also a pack and play available, but we had our own)! We also were thankful for the location... so close to the beach so we didn’t have a long walk with our little guy! The house was very clean upon arrival, which I was thankful for. The bed also does appear to be brand new—I had read reviews about a possible broken mattress but did not get that vibe at all. We slept very comfortably! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils which we were grateful for as we cooked all of our dinners in! I do wish the grounds of the property were kept up with a little bit more. We enjoyed the fire pit at night—and the renters were kind to leave materials for s’mores! During the day we probably spent more time in the outdoor area than most just because we had a napping baby inside...so I wish it had been a little bit more of a scenic view, (ie the house could use a power wash, updated crushed shell/gravel, flower beds kept up with, etc.) overall, we so enjoyed our stay and the amenities, location, cleanliness, and communication with the owners made traveling with a 6 month old as seamless and stress free as possible! We would totally stay again.

Super cute cottage just steps from the beach. My family of 3 really enjoyed our stay. Clean property in a great location. Our only dissapointment was to find the hot tub had no privacy. It sat on the side of the house in the front facing the road. Not a huge deal because we spent most of our time on th beach, but would have used the hot tub if there was some privacy. Great customer service and overall enjoyed our stay.

Property clean inside. Very low toliets for older people. Too much furniture in bedroom, hard to get around. Outside all rock and shells and no view at all. You are about 150 steps away from the beach but BIG problem is crossing a busy rd. Owner needs to replace one of the 2 unbrellas is broken. Manager was nice and sent my walking sticks to me thru the mail.

Let me start by saying, this place is in a perfect location for beach goers. There are chairs available that aren’t in great condition, but nonetheless, and a cart which was hugely helpful. We did buy a second umbrella that was a bit better quality and left it behind for others. However, there were a couple of serious downfalls: 1. The worst aspect of this was the water pressure: next to none. My mom and I actually had to wash our hair outside with a hose - so we were grateful for nice weather during the trip so we could keep our hair washed. 2. The bed was very obviously broken - we even had to shove pillows under the mattress to keep it from feeling like you were laying downhill. We reached out to the property owners and nothing was accomplished so we found that discouraging. 3. And while the house was overall clean, it wasn’t sparkling as others have reviewed. The couch was covered in sand but thankfully there was a small vacuum that we found in the property and I could clean this. 4. There was no shampoo or body wash available which they assured us there would be - so come prepared just in case you run into this, too. Overall, despite the negatives and assuming these issues would be fixed for a future stay, we would consider staying here again!

This was our first time coming to AMI and we loved it! This cute little house is literally right across the street from the beach (30 sec walk and you are on the sand!) The sunsets are GORGEOUS! Grocery store is a mile walk to the right and there are many restaurants within walking distance to the left. We walked a lot because we didn’t rent a car, but I’d recommend doing that bc Ubers are basically nonexistent on the island. We did take the monkey bus one time to dinner (free service). We saw a lot of people riding golf carts, which would be fun to rent for the week. We really enjoyed the hot tub after spending the day at the beach, as well as the fire pit at night. Overall the house was very clean and the owner had excellent communication with us from the beginning. We really appreciated that the house came with beach chairs to use, as well as a cooler and beach towels so we didn’t have to pack those. Our biggest complaint was the bed. The mattress really needs to be replaced for a more restful sleep. I also didn’t like that the bedroom closet was full of random stuff so we couldn’t use it and had to hang our stuff outside the closet. The laundry room/storage barn was really messy and kind of dirty too. Other than those things, we really did enjoy our stay! :)

My family and I stayed here 3 nights. We really loved how close it was to the beach that was never too crowded. The beach chairs, umbrella and wagon were really great to have. The fire pit and hot tub were used every night. The location was perfect. Not far from Bridge Street and we took the trolley to the north side of the island. The owners are quick to respond and very friendly.

Walk to the beach and nearby Sharkys’ restaurant. Free bus stop right next door Will take you anywhere on island. Able to ride bikes everywhere on the island, and even across the bridges. Will stay again. Only complaints are the AC not working in bedroom (spent nearly 4 hours waiting while service performed on AC), and needs new mattress in bedroom.

We had an amazing stay! Clean, cozy, and had everything we needed including beach chairs, umbrella and towels for our days at the beach. Excellent location if you want to explore Anna Maria Island or take a drive to Siesta Key. Would stay again!

had a blast with wife and kids at this property. The beach is really close literally 50 steps away. House was small but very clean with a lovely Jacuzzi on the side of the outside shed. Tom was very helpful and flexible with our last minute changes of bringing the kids. Will definitely come back next year.

This cute little cottage was perfect! We were able to bring our new puppy; and walk a very short distance to the water. Use of the beach wagon, boogie board and chairs meant we could pack lightly. We will definitely stay here again!
