The location

As guests we were provided with an inventory of hundreds of items & an ingoing inspection that misrepresented the condition of the unit & was inaccurate. If left uncontested guests can be held liable for missing items & damages that already pre existed. The condition of the unit was hazardous& not maintained. There was what appeared to be black mold in the main bedroom, a stench of mold & rotting wood in the cupboards in one bedroom & the kitchen. the unit appears to have major cracks in the ceiling. the stove was rusted & in a bad condition. the cutlery & crockery was all old, mismatched & gross. Dishes smelt of mold from sitting in the stinky cupboards. The place is a health and safety hazard. All this was brought to the agents attention. Excuses were made about the owners intention to renovate but then why continue to rent the unit to unsuspecting guests without fully disclosing the issues in the unit & then taking it further to misrepresent on the ingoing inspection. Also why should guests spend so much of their time counting spoons, pillow cases etc. 1 toilet paper was provided for 6 guests for 3 days, no soaps, no tea/coffee, no servicing of the unit. A truly shocking experience.

A ground floor unit, which makes a huge difference in your daily activities. Just walk out whenever you want as opposed to the balcony units. Feels safe and has direct access to an amazing beach which is very close by. The unit had its own barbecue/braai though this was unclear during booking. There are also good walks that one can take nearby to the north. Exit to the beach is very close using a magnetic tag.

Had to sign a no noise form after a non refundable booking. There was a constant loud music from an event on the beach/restaurants, this was well into late night. The units Front lawn was of small paper-thorns which should be eliminated. Exit from the complex was close, and limiting privacy of the unit. The small square extra carpets in ain bedroom were too dirty. The double bed is very small. Multiple magnetic beach tags could come in handy per unit. Should have had free wifi for the price, not 3g.

I had a problem with the tub tap which wasn't fix, I had to share we had to share a shower.

Everything. The view was fab. My parents and Kids had a great time. Everything was so clean, neat and tidy.

There is nothing I wouldn't like at Ramsgate Palms. Only problem we had was the the guest bathrooms need to be upgraded. Everything else was perfect.
