Cute cozy cabin, rustic and homey, with everything you need. Except for towels, which we knew ahead of time. Love love love the creek. Only item that the cabin can use is a dish rack.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the host is quick to communicate. Easy check- in and check-out. Host is very accommodating and we expect to return because friends of ours want to stay there with us!

This property is just as beatiful as the pictures show. It has an amazing enviorment and plenty of activites to do. Me and my friends had an amazing time and will definitely return.

This was a beautiful escape by a clean and peaceful creek that my husband, 11 month old baby and dog and I hope to return to very soon. Walking down the pretty private road to the rocky beach creekside was heaven on earth. Bring water shoes! We swam multiple times a day. The cabin was very nice and clean and that was greatly appreciated with an infant. Loved the chestnut cabin.
It's worth noting the air conditioner window units are a little loud but my husband and baby loved the white noise, and the beds probably could do with a foam topper since they seem to be pretty firm old coil mattresses, but that's just my personal preference, my husband didn't mind the mattress at all.
It's also a little cumbersome to not have potable water with an infant, but we planned well for that and it was absolutely worth it.
The weekend does seem to bring more people tubing down the creek, so slightly less private, but we didn't mind at all as it was fun to go out and watch them lazing down the creek. The weekdays, we found we had the creek entirely to ourselves. As I said before, we can't wait to return. Such an easy drive too from NYC.
It was beautiful to wake up in the morning, open the window and listen to the creek rushing by and watch a mama dear with her baby fawn cross the creek side by side. And so many sweet little birds singing. A wonderful escape.
Vanessa was excellent at communicating and getting back to us quickly.
Looking forward to coming back again soon.

The whole family really enjoyed our stay. Our toddler loved playing in the creek, just steps away from the house, and our dog got in his exercise running around the property. He even chased away a few friendly deers. The house itself was very charming and cozy, located at the end of a quiet private road. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend.

The location across from the creek is beautiful. The house is a log cabin & very charming. Updates have been made to bathroom & kitchen. The gas cooking stove and fireplace did not work unfortunately and the gas grill outside needs deep cleaning. Otherwise we enjoyed our time and would visit again!

This cabin in the woods is a great place to go relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Pocono Mountains. At first our daughter Maren didn't want to go on vacation to a cabin in the woods because she didn't want to get poked in the nose....but once we got there she was playing and having a great time exploring with her baby sister. If you are looking for a clean, quiet, real log cabin on a river in the woods this is the place.

I always come back to the cabin because of the location, cleanliness, and log cabin feel offered at this property. My dog enjoys running around outdoors, and the family enjoys the patio, outdoor firepit and the amazing view of the Bushkill. Always well done Vanessa! Thanks!

Was a very peaceful weekend by the river! Ceilings are low fyi if you have tall friends they whine about it lol. Loved the cabin it's rustic but clean. River was so relaxing!

We really had a nice, relaxing stay. My wife and I were able to take nice walks with our dogs around the many trails close to this cabin. Communication was great from the property owner. We would stay again!

We stayed at this quaint, cozy cabin for 4 days. The stream in front was such an amazing view! The cabin was very nice offering comfy sofas and large screen smart tv. We could have used more lighting but I know they added what they could to an old log house. Having laundry facilities available was very nice. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin is beautiful and charming with a cozy feel. The views of the water and property are just amazing. We had a great time with our pups walking in nature the street is nice and quiet. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway. The location is also great and close to plenty of fun activities nearby if you are looking to do more.

I haven't been this relaxed in years. What an amazing, charming and cozy spot this is! Great for family or a few couples! Wifi was excellent (and i work for a major wifi company) place was 100% as advertised. The dogs loved it as much as we did. As others said, it truly feels like you're staying at a dear friends place. Well stocked with everything you need! Vanessa was extremely professional and friendly. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to get back!

The way the property was situated you thought you were the only ones around. And the sound of the running waters set the scene for a relaxing time. My only disappointment was that, although there was a wonderful view when sitting by the fire pit, it was across the road from the house. People would walk past you while you were there, so it lacked some privacy.
I just wish that had been disclosed. That being said, the place was very nice.

The cabin is gorgeous. We had an absolutely perfect vacation with a campfire and tubing down the creek. The cabin layout is just right.Kitchen was well-equipped. Would LOVE to stay again!!!!

Delightful and private setting. Tubing activity was great fun especially with a mostly sunny week. Grateful for the Airconditioning because of high temperatures.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay a few days due to a family members health emergency, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The cabin was perfect with everything you needed. Also being near the water was the best part. It was very relaxing. There was plenty to do for activities and the water park was an extra bonus. My only suggestion is to cut down the holly tree to take advantage of the view on the porch.

Fantastic! This was the best place to unwind and connect with nature. The cabin is amazing and has everything and more that we needed. The location of the cabin is towards the end of a what amounts to a private lane with little to no traffic although we had the opportunity to meet and talk with some people who have a place nearby who were friendly and helpful with learning a bit more about the area. We would love to come back and stay again sometime!

The place was very rustic and so nice to stay. The only issue we ran into was no service and not having wifi information until going into town where we could connect. Other cell service could be different. Was so nice to disconnect and relax!!

Everything was just great! Best outfitted kitchen we have ever had!
Suggestion: Expensive, we know. The house should be totally rewired with at least a 250 Amp box. These days small unobtrusive conduit can be run throughout the cabin without having to put the new wiring through walls.
Instructions for the TVs would be very helpful, especially how one gets around in ROKU. Not everyone knows how this system works. We found that sometimes the left and right buttons did not move in the search function and once you searched for something, how to execute it.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family. The property was clean, spacious, and better than the listing shows. The owner was very nice and everything went smooth. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect setting to relax and we will certainly be back.

We spent three night here with two other couples. Check in was easy. The home was very clean (except could have used some dusting) and had everything we needed (sheets on the beds, hand soap, dish towels, soap for dishwasher and laundry, spices, oil, aluminum foil, nice selection of pots, pans and other dishes....). Beds were comfortable, water pressure was great, hot water was hot. We loved the cabin! It was just as pictured, warm and unique with unique touches. Also, super location; good privacy and the stream was SO relaxing. It was not warm enough for us to use and of the water toys but I'm sure they are fun. We loved our stay and highly recommend. Do ask for the WIFI information prior to going- I did not see it anywhere in the cabin and otherwise you may not have connection.

Something that didn't come through in other reviews was the location. Each night we built a fire by the creek. In the mornings we would have our coffee there. Coming from the city it was nice to be in a place where the loudest noises were the birds talking to one another. As other reviewers have noted. Vanessa was very responsive.

It was great family time! Location was wonderful. Kids were in the river swimming and rafting all day/everyday. Peaceful and relaxing. Everything we needed was right there. Look forward to going back.
