Most comfortable beds ever. Well stocked kitchen. Lovely open floor plan. Fabulous library! Finding a guitar and bongos was a huge plus. Moon rise through the huge picture windows or the deck was magical. Thank you!

The expansive views are what make this place special. Close to gorgeous hiking trails. We loved the Adirondack chairs on the deck, and the long beautiful dining table for family meals. Make sure to take in the night sky while here—because this area has no light pollution, the night sky is dazzling.

We loved the open living, dining and kitchen arrangement that all faced the lake with large windows. The cabin is located centrally in Lutsen-close to Lockport, Fika, and Lutsen Mountain. It's a great starting point for exploring on up the shore as well as the trails in this area.

Home was clean, well equipped in the kitchen, and had a great view. Everything you'd need to truly relax!

Enjoyed our stay at View Point. Went on several hikes, a day in Grand Marais, and cocktails on the deck overlooking beautiful Lake Superior.

We were a group of teachers/spouses that planned a weekend getaway to ski. We had a great time and really enjoyed the cabin with its beautiful lake views! Each morning when we woke up we could hear the water and watch the sun rise over the lake. It was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The location of the property was extremely close to the ski resort as well as other surrounding towns, so there were lots of fun things to go do and explore. We would definitely come back to this property!

We loved our short winter break at Viewpoint! Beth was very accommodating and was responsive when we had a few questions. We easily fit our family of 5 in this property and loved the gorgeous views, fireplace and proximity to Lutsen Mountain for skiing. We would highly recommend and hope to return to this property in the future!

We had a perfect family getaway here in early December. The house was perfectly hygee, cozy and warm. We listened to the huge assortment of records, decorated Christmas cookies and spent our da skiing Lutsen Mountain. The view from each window is perfection. This house is a hidden gem and we are so thankful for the time we spent here making family memories.

Absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous cabin. The views from the main room and master bedroom were more than we hoped for, and we spent much time just relaxing and soaking it in. We loved walking down the small private path to an even more beautiful view of crashing waves. We did feel a bit warm at times without AC, but conditions are always changing on the lake. Hope to be back someday!

This property is unique with vintage characteristics. It’s minimalist feel puts you in a relaxed state right away. The location in Lutsen is so convenient right off the highway. Breathtaking view from the main area is something special to wake up to and enjoy all day.

This is the most incredible cabin. It is everything we’ve been looking for on the North Shore, but have never found. We’ve been visiting this area 3 times a year for the past 5 years, and this is by far our new favorite spot. It’s clean and fresh with modern updates (bathrooms, furniture, decor) but has a cool nostalgic vibe too (record player and great collection of records, books, games). It’s spacious but still cozy. The front room is bright with full windows for gorgeous lake views. The large kitchen table is perfect for family meals. The bedrooms are cozy with fresh, clean linens. The bathrooms are simple but modern and fresh. We had a great time with our family of 5 plus two grandparents. This is a great location for hiking in the nearby parks, visits to Lutsen Mountain and Grand Marais. At the end of our 5 day stay, I’m not lying when I say I have honestly never wanted to NOT LEAVE a vacation rental more than this place. We booked it for the next available weekend (4 months away!) on our drive home. We did have one small plumbing issue in the little red cabin but Beth was super responsive. Can’t wait for our next visit. Thank you, Beth!

Location is superb. In the town of Lutsen yet private with incredible views of Lake Superior from every room.

Our family enjoyed a very restful stay. The home was very well appointed and is located in a very quiet spot. And the scenic view from the deck and the family room is beautiful. It's only a short walk to very nice cafe and a very tasty coffee shop. All it all, it was just what we all needed - a very quiet break from busy schedules. We'll be back.

This home is located in a very private, scenic setting with dramatic views not to disappoint. Even if it were raining, the wall to wall views from the main living space would be as enjoyable as if you were sitting on the deck; you are that close. The cute bedrooms upstairs have windows that allow you to see the stars and the moon. You also can hear the crashing waves of Lake Superior. The master bedroom has a small deck and a window with Lake Superior views also. The beds were very comfortable. There is a nice, large solid wood table that our group sat around to enjoy meals...also with views, of course! The wood burning fireplace was wonderful and there was plenty of wood supplied. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with glasses and barware, dishes, pots and pans etc..... one of the best stocked we have seen in our many vacation rental experiences. The game room was larger than we thought and the electronic darts game provided a lot of fun entertainment. There is a futon bed in that room. In the living room, we would have preferred a larger TV with a cable or satellite connection rather than the Roku but we made it work. Images show a fire ring down on the rocks which it wasn't. It actually was located up on the lawn; though still with excellent views of Lake Superior. You can walk down onto the rocks, but need to be careful, as it is somewhat sloped, with a sizable drop off to the lake. But what can you expect... Viewpoint IS on the edge of paradise! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had the best stay! We loved every inch of the home as well as every amazing view. The home is equipped with everything you would need and more. Highly recommend staying here ... and be sure to look up at the starts at night - they are unbelievable! Can not wait to stay again!

We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. The cabin offered plenty of space and is very well equipped to make it extremely comfortable. The views and solitude alone are worth every minute and penny spent.. Thank you for sharing this wonderful retreat

We packed 6 adults into this house for the Superior 100 (plus my pacers crashed for a night on the couch before the race). It was a wonderful experience- everyone was comfortable, great universal area to hang out, amazing views... everything was fantastic for our stay. Thank you so much!

This property and our rental experience exceeded our expectations at every turn. The views are stunning and the house is beautifully decorated. Bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for meal prep. The appliances are even a cut above average. The property is close to several great hikes and attractions. I can’t imagine a better location. THe owners are responsive.... if there were 10 Stars....this place would earn them!

Really enjoyed the stay. The place couldn't have been nicer. Really enjoyed getting up in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the lake. Listening to the waves hit the rocks right below you is very calming. The setting is very private. Very convenient, anything you need it very close by. Can't say enough about how wonderful this part of the world is. The parks are first rate and well maintained. If your looking to getaway this is the place to do it.
