Wonderful property. Loved the privacy of this property. The peace and quiet was appreciated at the end of the day.

This house was falling apart. There were missing cabinet doors in the kitchen. The bedroom blinds were hanging on by a thread and therefore, unusable. One bedroom had a temporary paper blind that looked like it had been up for a long time. A cursory clean had been done on the house but there was trash under the couches. Dirty window sills and the celling fans were full of dust. The furniture smelled bad so after a few days we just sat at the wooden benches in the kitchen.. The yard was not mowed. There were broken chairs scattered about the yard, bbq tongs and grill brushes laying in the yard. old rubber boots and random pieces of old metal junk leaning against the fence. My husband and I were both very uncomfortable staying in this house. It diminished the enjoyment of our trip immensely and we could not wait to leave.

It was everything we needed with plenty of space.

We enjoyed the privacy, the house. The grandkids loved being able to run around and yell without getting in trouble. We were close enough to Tulsa to make the trip into town to sightsee. It worked out great for our Christmas. Some of the family came from Dallas, so this was kind of in the middle for everyone.

The house and location were perfect for our family. Secure yard for the 5 & 7 year old boys to play and the adults to sit and enjoy the peace.

My bridesmaids loved this house! They enjoyed looking out to the lake and the feeling of relaxation all around them.

Property seemed clean and well kept. We arrived Friday evening and left Sunday morning. The last evening we were there the thermostat showed 82 degrees in the house, when it was set at 70 all night. Heat continued even with all of the ceiling fans on, it was difficult for anyone to sleep comfortably. Was not expecting scorpions literally in the house, let alone cockroaches. Turned off the kitchen light for an hour or so then turned it on to see little roaches. And they came out again when we were cooking, we had to constantly keep putting our items in ziploc bags and put in the fridge. Took pictures of the roaches. And there needs to be something added to the listing about the path to the lake being quite steep and rocky. On a positive note, we really appreciated the amount amenities and provisions provided by the owner. Just hoping we didn't bring any roaches back in our belongings. If not for the thermostat, roaches, and scorpions in the house this would have been a very enjoyable location.

Plenty of room, nice amenities, great parking for 3 vehicles and 2 boats. Wonderful private backyard, nice porch to enjoy a morning coffee.

This place was amazing! The remote location was fantastic, the pathway to the lake was great, the area at the lake was rock with a ledge and was wonderful! The communication could have been better. There are a bunch of spiders outside and we did see a couple of scorpions but it was communicated with that it is a possibility, so we were prepared. Definitely bring bug spray! Would recommend this adorable and convenient place to everyone and would be renting again! Thank you so much

Our family stayed here while visiting from out of state. We enjoyed our time at the house. The yard was kept nice and the house had anything we needed. Jill was prompt and courteous. The sunset views from the house are amazing!! The trail to the lake was very easy to walk. Our only complaint was with some of the bugs. I did kill a huge brown recluse and we saw several dead scorpions, but both are common to the skiatook lake area.

Rented this property while in Osage county for a race. Great location. Views of lake from front porch. Peaceful setting with a lot of room in the house. We were very happy with our stay.

Great location to launch your boat!

Clean house, well-provisioned. Remote and quiet, which we loved. Our outdoor activities were limited by weather and the abundance of mosquitoes. It would be fun if warm, and you utilized the lake and fire pit and outdoor areas

The house was very nice and had multiple amenities for dishes and cooking meals, very nice to sit out on the back deck and hang out. The fire pit was also very nice to sit by and have a few. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time!! Jill answered all our questions promptly. The house was very clean and fixed up so nice. It was easy to get around in as our son is almost completely blind so once he figured out where everything was he did great. It was also easy to get in and out of for a quick and easy trip to town when needed.

Our family was very happy with our stay here. Kids had a blast. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Owner was great at checking with us.

This cabin was secluded enough to be quiet and peaceful, yet close to nearby towns (Skiatook, Collinsville). The owner (Jill) was prompt and courteous answering all of our questions. The directions to the cabin were clear and concise. The cabin was neat, tidy, and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves and left feeling very rested and relaxed. I would highly recommend this VRBO to anyone looking to stay in the Tulsa area.

We were on a retreat at Shepherd‘s fold Ranch. The property was a fabulous home for a few nights. Turns out it was just me and I Definitely go back.

It was clean and away from everything Real quite

This is a cozy little home which had plenty of room for our family of 5 and 2 small dogs. From the beginning Jill was quick to respond to my inquiry and to book the dates we needed. We were traveling from Ft Worth and needed a late arrival which was no problem. Once we arrived the home was warm and welcoming with all the necessary amenities. The property is on a hill with an excellent view of the lake but it is nice walk down the hill to the shoreline. The only regret I have is that we booked on a weekend that had a severe cold front blow through and the temperature dropped to the 20’s with 25-40mph winds with a wind chill in the single digits. We had expected the frigid weather and asked Jill if there was wood for the fireplace or if we needed to provide our own. She said there was a little already there but on the day before our arrival she had a large load of wood delivered. We were really grateful for that and it was definitely needed. Needless to say we didn’t get to spend much time exploring and enjoying the outdoors. The property is pretty secluded but is is only a short drive to town or about 25 minutes to Tulsa. We enjoyed ourselves and would definitely recommend this property if you are heading to Tulsa or the surrounding areas. We will definitely be coming back in warmer weather.

The house was easy to find, great for a group. Accurately defined as 300 yard walk to water, was a bit of a chore for 67 year olds, but made it. It rained our entire stay, but we bought some games, and really enjoyed the family time. Limited cookware but managed to cook our meals for 7 with the grill mostly. We even made use of washer and dryer to get the rainy clothes clean. Thank you for sharing your place! Skiatook Lake was a beautiful gathering place for a birthday celebration.

Older home, but had everything we needed. Easy drive to marinas and beaches. Loved the secluded location too.

It was rural but that was what we were looking for. Lakeview and centrally located for our activities. Fun and relaxing

Great location. Super private. Whole family including our pup had a wonderful stay! Kids loved the yard And path to the lake. We rented a boat and was just a five minute or so drive to marina. House is clean and equipped with all you need for a fun family weekend. We will be back for sure...bring your bug spray!

The home is very well kept and the views are amazing. Ms. Jones was very quick to respond to emails and questions.We started off each morning sitting outside having coffee and looking at the lake. Each evening was spent with a drink watching the sun set. It is just a quick drive to Tulsa where you can get anything you may want. There is a trail off the east side of the property that is an easy walk right down to the lake. We will definetly br staying here again. If you are traveling to the Tulsa area and would like a place away from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is an excellent option
