Bob was great to work with on our stay, he makes sure that you know all the details of the home and comfortable. The home has everything a family could need to have an amazing week at the beach. Plenty of bikes for all sizes, beach equipment, and pool toys. You literally only need to bring clothes, everything else is taken care of. Pool/Spa were great and enjoyed daily. Location to Beach is great, from front door to feet in the water is a 7 minute walk right down 8th st. We look forward to coming back!

Our family gathered from all over for a week on SSI. We rented multiple homes but this one far surpassed any place we have ever stayed. There is nothing that they did not think of in this beautiful home. We literally would not have not had to bring anything but our clothes. It’s probably the first time we have arrived at a rental and discovered it was better than described. Will definitely return here next year!

This house is well stocked for an easy trip with a great location near the beach. The pool was the perfect place to come back to after a day at the beach. The owner was very friendly and willing to help with anything we needed! 4 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs fit comfortably.

This house is by far our favorite by far of all the VRBO’S we have ever stayed out. The house is fabulous The pool spectacular and the location fabulous. And Bob is the best. He was so helpful and extremely easy to contact. He went above and beyond with his hospitality. Even having some snacks and refreshments waiting on us after our long drive. It was great week. None of us were ready to leave. We hope to stay here again.

We had a great time staying here! The house and location were wonderful and the pool was amazing! We spent the mornings enjoying the beautiful beaches and the afternoons in the pool. The kids loved the pool! The house had everything that we needed and the owner was helpful and responsive. We highly recommend this home and hope to come back.

We had the most amazing time staying at this property. Bob was a FANTASTIC host and helped ensure we had everything we needed, helped me navigate the pool/hot tub settings, and even helped set up the beach cabana one day so we would know how to do it. I'd give more than five stars if I could. I can definitely see us renting this property again. It was perfect to enjoy time with friends and also just relax when it was us. It truly felt like our home for the long weekend. Thank you, Bob!

We had a short time to take a trip and this was so easy. Plenty of room and an amazing outdoor space! The pool was our favorite thing about the house. Short walk to the beach too! Kitchen well stocked and all the beach and pool accessories made it so easy to enjoy!

This property is just as advertised. This was our first time in SSI. Close to everything, house is well stocked with everything you need. Great for families or singles. The owner, Bob was very attentive and easy to communicate with. Will stay there again!

We has an amazing stay at this great VRBO! Bob, our host, was prompt and thorough in communication and information. The location was just right, great options for morning walks and bike rides. The outdoor space was a true winner! The pool and the hot tub were top notch and made us feel like we were in the lap of luxury. We also had a fun cornhole tournament in the side yard! Our only complaint is that we didn’t have enough time to do everything we wanted to do during our stay, we’ve got to go back! We wouldn’t hesitate to book this home again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house has lots of nice amenities. It is convenient to shops & restaurants and is in a nice neighborhood with a short walk to the beach. There is a beautiful yard with seating areas for hanging out and the pool and spa are amazing. The owner has provided bicycles as well as cornhole and other games. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed staying at this lovely beach house. Wonderful private pool with island shrubbery making it beautiful and relaxing. This is our 3rd stay at this property and it gets nicer each stay!

This house is exactly what we wanted for our getaway vacation.
It's in a great location in a quiet neighborhood with just a short walk to the beach.
The host does a great job maintaining this house, which is roomy and comfortable and well furnished with plenty of towels and bicycles and everything else you need to enjoy yourself.
And the huge pool is fantastic!
Walk-in entry at one end, hot tub at the other and plenty of ledge seating along the side.
All of this in a very private fenced yard with great trees and plantings.
We hope all of our future visits to SSI will be at this wonderful home!

Highly recommend staying here. The house and pool were clean and beautiful. The location was great, we rode the golf cart to the beach and out to eat everyday. Also, Bob was very helpful and a great host.

We enjoyed every minute of our Vay Kay @ restful waters! House was set up perfectly with so much space and great gathering areas for family game nights! Pool was also enjoyed to the fullest and the beach was a short distance away! Bob was a great Host! We will be back as our family grows!!!

Bob is one of the most courteous hosts I’ve had and he made feel so welcomed. We are grateful for him and his hospitality.
The house: very well maintained and extremely clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Huge dining room and table and perfectly designed for gathering. Plenty of games and puzzles. There are 2 fridges which was helpful. Parking for 3-4 cars depending on the size.
Amenities:The pool and hot tub are best part of the house. The backyard is fully fenced and well maintained…great for tossing a football or playing corn hole (full set at the house). There are beach chairs, umbrella, beach cart, and pool floats. The house also has complimentary bikes (6 of them). The sizes of the bikes vary, but most are either small or medium size with one large size. Helmets are provided
Location: 5-10 min walk to the beach depending on which entryway you use. We had a baby with us we used the entrance at gourds inlet or the main entry on 1st. Either one is a very short walk with easy access for carts/strollers. The home is 1mo from the grocery/pharmacy/restaurants/shopping. Tons of great routes for walking/running/bike rides.
We have no complaints and are grateful to have spent a great family vacation here. We had 6 adults and one baby and were perfectly accommodated. Thank you!!!

Mornings at the beach, afternoons in the pool, evenings in the hot tub...what more could you want? Our group of 5 adults (parents, 2 children + a friend) and 2 yr old dog had more than enough spread-out space in this wonderful home, and the decor and amenities made it a place you wanted to spend time enjoying. We used the provided beach chairs and beach towels; bought our own Sun Ninja tent for shade, although there is a beach umbrella available. Walk to the beach was very reasonable and it popped out in a stretch of beach that was not very populated. The pool is THE BOMB... partially shaded in the afternoon so you can choose sun or shade. Pool noodles, donuts, amazing lounge beds all available. Our dog could wander the fenced-in yard and choose to sunbathe, stay shaded, or head inside for the a/c. No need for heating the pool water in summer, for sure. Hot tub was spacious for us 5 and felt very relaxing at the end of the day. The outdoor shower was key to keeping sand out of the house. We brought some Tide pods to do more loads of laundry (two laundry detergents provided), dishwasher pods (again, 2 given), but managed with the other soaps / toilet paper provided. Bob, the owner, was ready to answer any question and lives nearby. Totally worth booking (I mean, look at that pool)!!

Maybe the best place we have ever stayed! Bob was an amazing host and very responsive every time I communicated. The house and the grounds are immaculate. The pool is extremely large and has a great tanning ledge. We used the hot tub every night. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you would need to cook in. The large dining room table accommodates 10 or more. Having beach towels, beach chairs and toys was a life saver not having to buy or bring them with us. I can't recommend this property enough. Well worth the price!

We had a great stay at this property. We had great communication with the owner and gave us all kinds of recommendations for restaurants and live music. Short drive to the beach. The house has everything you need to enjoy a stay at SSI. It was very hot in mid July so we spent a lot of time in the pool and the mornings on the beach. Highly recommend.

Amazing outdoor area and host! The only thing (could have been a mistake on my part the way I read it) but it listed 4 bathrooms and I had the filter selected for number of bathrooms. It’s really a 2.5 bathroom house with an outdoor shower. We had a great trip and the host was great so although I was initially taken back the trip was great and the house and amenities were great.

We’ve been coming to East Beach for more than a decade, and this home was simply perfect for our family. Everyone loved the pool and hot tub, as well as the open living & dining area with ample games and large screen TV. There were plenty of bikes for our party of 6 adults and teens, and the beach wagon, chairs, umbrella and cooler were much appreciated. Usually we drive to Massengale Park to access the beach, but by the end of our stay we preferred simply walking through the 8th Street public access. Bob was incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and we would definitely rent his beautiful home again. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

This was my family's second stay in this fantastic house. Bob has taken great care in providing a very attractive, spacious, and clean house, pool, and grounds. Everything is orderly, and there is ample storage space in which to organize one's own belongings. We appreciate that plenty of beach chairs and beach towels are provided. The neighborhood is quiet and sunsets can be viewed from the deck. This house is close to the lovely marsh, and the paths along the marsh provide perfect walking space. The four adults, one child, and 2 dogs in our group all had a wonderful time!

Better than our expectations. Super clean and well appointed for a pet friendly rental. Nice and bright due to all the windows, 2 large upstairs decks off main living area, plenty of seating indoors and out. Lovely quiet neighborhood with easy beach access, lots of privacy.

We had a wonderful week exploring SSI! This house is in an amazing location. The property is very quite and a short walk to the beach or short bike ride into town. The house is so well-equipped with everything you could possible need to enjoy a few days in the sun & sand.
The pool was a huge hit with our little ones- a large shallow end, ledge around the edge, and hot tub made for ideal swimming conditions all day long!
The kitchen is well equipped with quality cookware, plenty of dishes and glasses, and all the pantry basics.
There are endless seating options around the property to catch some sun on the pool deck, dine Al fresco, or relax in Adirondack chairs and take in marsh sunset views.
Our two golden retrievers were so happy to join too- they loved taking a short block and a half walk to the beach where they were free to chase tennis balls, swim in the surf, relax in the tide pools, and make friends with plenty of other dog lovers.
Bob was an excellent host. He was responsive to any and all inquiries and provided some great local recommendations!

All I can say is our stay was wonderful!!! Everything we hoped for on our family vacation of 7. We had ourselves and our 20 something year old kids and their friends. We found many great places to eat, shop and explore. Coming back to our rental home was so relaxing to just hang out by the pool, play outdoor or indoor games, cook or just watch a family movie. St. Simons Island did not disappoint! We would all come back in a heartbeat!!! Thanks Bob and Gwen

We had an excellent stay at this home. We have stayed in many VRBO homes, and this one was a favorite! Communication, even prior to the stay, was seamless. We have several children, and everyone had plenty of space in the home to spread out. The pool and hot tub are a real highlight, the owners allowing you to control temperature and other setting through an app. It is a very close walk to East Beach, where you can enjoy sunrises. The beach wasn’t crowded. It is clear that the owners care about this home. It is well-maintained, has all the amenities, and any of our requests were responded to immediately. We cooked at the house for every meal except once. Everything we needed for cooking was available. Grocery stores, shopping and restaurants are a 5-10 minute drive away, and nice bikes are available at the house for your use. We are definitely returning! Thank you again for a lovely visit.

This was our first trip to Saint Simons Island, which has a lot to do and see. We picked this property for the location and pool and were very pleased. The beach is beautiful and a very short walk from the house, but the star of the week was the heated pool and landscaped yard; we spent most of our time in the outdoor spaces. The island is easy to get around and wasn’t too crowded during our visit - we never had to wait to eat at any of the places we chose (Palm Coast and Frosty’s Griddle and Shake were surprising favorites). The owners were welcoming and communicated along each step of the way.

The house was nice. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were only 4 of us, but the house can accommodate more than that easily. One very odd thing is that the owners make a point of only providing one roll of TP for each bathroom, 2 garbage bags and 2 dishwasher pods. I stay at VRBO's all over the country and I have never encountered such parsimony. If you can't cover the incidentals with all of the fees, maybe raise your rate by a few dollars so your guests have enough basic supplies for their stay? Also we enjoyed the hot tub, but the owner is VERY hands on with the hot tub use going as far as controlling the temp remotely so if you want it hotter than his suggestion, you have to call him to have the temp adjusted. That was a bit awkward.
