The VRBO description was not accurate - not a penthouse condo, the activity center was not as described, the restaurant was not as described; the quality of the resort is average - under new management; no sauna, no hot tub, the golf courses are not in good shape. The host was excellent in his attitude and communication; he did pay for our activity center fee and responded well to our concerns.

Short drive to the beach, the owner is very nice! Only thing we didn't sleep well because the beds are extremely hard. Also the pool is NOT free, $10 a day for everyone 13+. But overall not a bad place!

This condo in Sea Trail was clean, spacious, with a full kitchen and very conveniently located for golf outings, a short drive to the beach, Calabash & Little River, SC. We were able to walk to dinner options in and outside Sea Trail. The pool & activity center was right across the lot from the condo and the restaurant ‘House’s Place’ has an amazing chef and a great menu! Highly recommend!!!!

Company golf tournament
Very enjoyable stay will definitely utilize using unit again next year if company tournament is nit the area. Hank met with me when I arrived and was very helpful letting me know about good local restaurants in the area. Will recommend others utilize the unit.

Lovely Condo
We were very happy with the accommodates at Sea Trail. Working with Hank was by far the best attribute. He was very kind and generous. The place was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at Hanks place. Everything we needed was available. Very nice area to visit.

Needs some attention
The condo was clean but definitely needs some investment and updating. Kitchen was sparse and not equipped sufficiently. The a/c in the second bedroom does not work and needed to leave the bedroom door open for sufficient cooling. The sheets didn’t fit the bed and there was no blanket. The living room was not conducive for more than 2 adults. Overall for $800 I would expect much better.

Great Stay at Sea Trail
Owner Hank is very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and responsive. The top, third floor condo is clean, spacious, and quiet. We had everything we needed. There is a clubhouse with a good restaurant and pool across the street that Hank gave us access to. We did not use the pool, but it looked nice. Beach is very close. We had a wonderful stay. We recommend this place. We would stay here again.

Great condo at the beach
I gave this a 5 star review for a reason. Hank is a great host and very great communicator. The condo is very clean, spacious, and has everything you need for a stay at the beach. The condo is close to the beach (5 min drive), local restaurants, and other amenities in town. The condo is right across the street from the Sea Trail activity center where you can pay to use the pool. Overall, great condo and we will stay there again.

3 Day Getaway
We booked this property for a 3 day getaway and it was perfect! Minutes drive from the beach and pier. The onsite pool and restaurant were a plus as well. There is a fee to use the pool but for all day it is only $25 for the family, so very reasonable. Would definitely stay here again.

Best of the Best
My family and I have been to quite a few places, sometimes alone and sometimes with the entire the family. Often times the places we stay are not as clean as expected, failed communication and the list goes on. This recent stay exceeded all expectations and if our yearly action spot turns out to be here, this will be our go to place for now on. I can’t rave enough about our overall experience. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Long Weekend Getaway
Clean and quiet condo, right across from the pool/activity center. We did go the bar/restaurant there, which was good. Access to the beach is a very short drive.

Perfect for my family. We will rent here again if we return to Sunset Beach.
We have never rented this way in the past. We are a large family of 5 with three older teenage boys. One slept on a blow up mattress which worked well. The place was much more comfortable than a hotel. It was clean and bug free! Hank was attentive and helpful. Trust the reviews. I did and am very happy with the experience. Pittsburgh Family.

Nice place! The pool is not included in price and it wasn’t a huge deal to us, but the ad is a little misleading about it. Owner was nice and accommodating.

We had a wonderful stay at Sea Trail! For five people, it was very affordable. We had just about everything we needed - furnished kitchen, wifi, towels. The AC had gone out the day that we arrived, but Hank was so helpful and somehow got some workers to come repair it on a Saturday during Memorial Weekend, and he spent half a day overseeing that it was properly working while we spent time on the beach. Sunset Beach is a very short drive away, as well as some quaint local shops, seafood restaurants, putt putt, ice cream... A great vacation spot! We hope to go back!

Short last minute beach trip
We really enjoyed this 2br condo. The master bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the owner had even left us detergent to be able to use the washer and dryer.
Several restaurants are within a half a mile(we walked). The property is right on one of the golf courses. The neighborhood is great and we really enjoyed the property. The owner, Hank, helped us with our last minute booking, and was easy to work with.

Very quiet beautiful area
My family and I had a wonderful stay! I really loved having the personal interaction with the owner. Hank made our stay very comfortable. The staff at the activity center was very helpful and polite. My girls are 23 and 25 and we now have a beautiful grand baby so this was our first vacation all together since our girls were younger. We are definitely going to make this a yearly trip for our family vacations. We had everything we needed within a five minute drive. Thank you so much Hank....we will be back soon!!!!!

Great trip!
Our family had such a great time on this trip. We were only able to be out of town for 4 nights, and Hank was very flexible. The condo was neat, and close to the beach. He gave us helpful tips for beach parking and getting around the area. The condo had all the things we needed for the stay, right down to laundry detergent. We would definitely stay again!

GREAT STAY and HOST!
My wife, our son, our 2 grandsons and myself had an ABSOLUTELY wonderful time staying at this condo. The owner Hank met us upon arrival, went over the Sea Trail Condo amenities and made sure we were all settled in. The week was fantastic as we were 4 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the pool. The condo was neat and clean, it was exactly as pictured on the site and as I said, Hank was the perfect host. I would recommend this condo highly to family and friends. The only problem we had was the third floor was hard on my wife going up and down...but my grandkids loved being there and being right across from the pool!

Another great stay!
This is my family's third stay at this condo. As usual, Hank, the condo owner, was more than accommodating. The condo sits right across from the clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool, workout facility, sauna, etc. There is now shuttle (free) access to the beach during the season.
Most importantly, the condo is attractive, clean, practical and affords us a wonderful and reasonably priced vacation. We will continue to book Hank's condo for our summer vacations and I highly recommend you do as well.

Great condo! Great value!
We really enjoyed ourselves at your condo and at Sunset Beach. Over and above Hank's hospitality and the fact that the condo was exactly as advertised and it was very clean he also had hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper and towels all of which prevented us from needing to go to the grocery before we could go to the ocean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the shower was great. Great location less than 2 miles from the grocery and beach. The pool is nice and is right across the parking lot from the condo and they supply beach towels while you're at the pool.
One very minor thing that would have made it perfect but did not decrease our enjoyment...it would have been nice to have had wifil.
We rarely vacation at the same place twice because there are so many beautiful places we want to visit. If we come back to Sunset Beach we will definitely call Hank again.

Great Condo, Great Value!
My family and I had a fantastic time this past week. Hank greeted us at the door and showed us around, laid out the ground rules and made himself available throughout the week if he was needed.
The condo was comfortable, spacious enough for my wife and two teenage kids, and every appliance worked perfectly. It is ultra convenient to the clubhouse and indoor/outdoor pool, a short drive to grocery stores and the highway, and just two minutes to the beach. It is clear that he works hard to maintain his property, and despite the obvious upkeep, he charges very little for a week's rent during peak season.
Needless to say, my family and I will be back again. Thanks for everything, Hank! Your place is top notch.

A wonderful and beautiful place to get away
Our stay at this beautiful place was awesome. Hank the landlord was extremely nice and easy to rent from. He greeted us and gave us details on the property as well as the area. He even called a couple of times to make sure we were doing well with our travel from Kansas and aide us with directions through the town to the property when we got near. The town was quite and the surrounding towns were fun to visit. We had something to do everyday. And it wasn't just to go to the beach which we fit in too since it was only a hop skip and jump away from the property. Sighting seeing is in abundance here. But if you just want to stay in; the place is cozy and comfy and enjoyable to do just do nothing at. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay for whatever reason. We can't wait to go back.
