The location was great; close in town but quiet. This little house was charming, small in size but it had everything we needed. The pellet stove was awesome! I had never experienced one before but it worked great. I had to call Rob to talk me through how to get it going because I had missed seeing the instructions on the desk and he was accomodating. Loved the memory foam mattress. Nice to have off street parking. I liked having a full bookshelf and found the cat artwork to add to the quaint quirkiness.

I didn't care for the rain shower head. To big and bulky for the small shower.

I prefer to stay in places that seem like the owners actually live, or stay, there once in a while. In addition to its wonderful name, the cottage seems like a loved space. The books are also great, especially the ones on Manzanar. Everything points to owners who love cats, reading and quiet time. It’s nice to stay somewhere that isn’t so staged and doesn’t charge a fortune.

everything was good, but the house does not smell good…overly-perfumed covering what smells kind of like a litter box.

Cute little cottage very conveniently located for exploring the Whitney/Alabama Hills/Manzanar area. Very helpful host, nice neighbor. Well equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

Address in the email we received so it would be easy to locate the unit. Neighbor next door was outside and asked if we were looking for the bnb rental and pointed it out.

Ceiling fan in bedroom was dirty, but I am an anal Virgo who notices these things. If we had stayed longer I would have simply wiped it down.

Can never lose keys, super convenient. Nothing negative to say about this location. Perfect size and amenities for want I needed plus more.

Even though the Cottage was Pet friendly, aside from the cat deco, there were no signs of pets ever being there. The place was very clean.

Quiet neighborhood, nice neighbors, very clean. Great communication by host. Beautiful location and really nice to have a fenced in yard for dog to roam.

Kitchen is tiny, no dishwasher but fine for one night. Backyard could be improved.

Shower didn’t drain well

really convenient to everything in town. we had our dog with us and couldn’t have worked out better. fenced yard with easy access to get in/out of the house was perfect. communication with the host was excellent.

ask the host about the auto sprinkler schedule, not a big deal but we left the car windows down and it got a little wet. thankfully, climate is so dry it dried up quickly and was all good

I don’t like that when making a reservation it appears that you’re getting great value, and then when you make the commitment they add a $50 cleaning fee. If it’s Air BNB then state that up front.
