We stayed in the cabin unit and it was absolutely lovely. The wooden cabin has the pool view and a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Although the pool is shared, we could enjoy at its fullest. Only occasionally we met with other guests, but they were extremely nice and we never felt our privacy compromised. The cabin has air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The location is unbeatable: quite, green and right in front of the nicest beaches of all Algarve (in my opinion). You can take the boat and be in out the most amazing beach of the area. The host was extremely hospitable and he gave us suggestions and tips on place to visit and eat. Highly recommended if you want to spend some time in a not conventional hotel room: a Woden cabin. Everything was clean and the cabin is well equipped.

I could not find anything I did not like. Better if you have a car otherwise a Uber would do.

Our stay at Casa Castor was just perfect, The cabin was really clean and just a perfect match for our needs. It was special to get to meet the other guests, and the kids all playing together in the swimming pool.

It rained a bit during our stay (I know its a rare event), but the porch is not well protected from the rain and everything was a bit wet afterwards.

We stayed in the rooftop studio penthouse. You are right in front of the beach with beautiful views in a very small and quiet village. The perfect place to relax. Also the host Jose is a fantastic guy, he was super available and responded fast to all of our questions. We will stay in this little slice of heaven on earth again and again in a heartbeat💚

They’re nothing not to like.

It's an amazing place to relax and enjoy the nature and the silence that surrounds the place. The view of the ocean is breathtaking and the terrace offers an amazing experience. The studio has everything you need to enjoy your time there. The swimming pool is small but enough to allow us to refresh and with salted water, it avoids using unhealthy products. Cacela Velha is very near and within a short walking distance, fully recommended.

We liked the location and the pool.

We were put in a annex room that generically was nice, but not matching the pictures you see when booking. Aditional unpleasent situation is that there is no real door for the toillet, we were a recently engageed couple so you can take your conclusions.

Very nice and confortable. Location is wonderful at the "Ria Formosa". To reach the ocean you just need to walk to the beach, at low tide, or take a boat (paid), at high tide. You have a small pool in the back. There is a nice kitchenette in the apartment where you can prepare your own meals. Owner is really nice and helpful!

All good. If anything can be said, is that there is only one restaurant walking distance, but that is also the reason for this quietness. Get your car and you have everything close by.

Advertisement pictures are more positive than reality. This was not the view. wooden cabin in backyard. For beach you have to drive several km. it’s not possible to walk like the picture suggests. For this price without breakfast is not in balance.

Amazing location and a fireplace for cold nights in winter. José provided an exceptional level of hosting. Lots of space and fabulous views from balcony. Lovely pool in a pretty back garden easily accessed.

Unfortunately during cold rainy weather the walls in the two bedrooms were soaking wet which made the beds cold and damp. Old Portuguese walls tend to be damp in wet weather so there's not much can be done about it I think.
