I cannot say enough positive things about this house and the rental company. This was by far the most well equipped house we have ever rented. From the dishes and utensils to the 6 bikes, multiple beach chairs and tons of games, the owners have thought of everything! The rental company was amazing and super friendly. We had some minor issues that were remedied immediately! The location to the beach and town was great! About a 15 minute walk or 8 minute bike ride to town. About a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would absolutely rent this house again!

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful home. It's proximity to everything was great. There was so much to do at the home and in the area. We got up each morning for the sunrise, completed a huge puzzle off and on during the entire stay, ate at the local restaurants, flew kites, and so much more! The people in this town were so friendly. We really enjoyed our time and hope to visit again.

This house does not disappoint! So many spaces to enjoy. Stocked with everything you could possibly need: beach chairs, bikes, corn hole, boogie boards, board games, etc! Everything was labeled. Surround sound was fantastic. This house is extremely well thought out and the owners have done an excellent job ensuring you have more than enough things to provide entertainment inside and out. Kitchen well equipped, wine cooler, ice machine, extra refrigerator. Highly recommended!!

The house was just as advertised and very clean. There were so many extras in the house including a pack n play which we needed for the baby, beach chairs, toys, wagon, etc. The pool and hot tub were great. The location was wonderful and the beach was easy to access and quiet. The owner was very helpful. We had one issue (out of the owners control) that was immediately attended to. Thanks for the great stay.

The house was a perfect size for our group, with 5 bedrooms fitting our needs perfectly. Each room also had access to a private bathroom, which was so nice! Decor was great, beads and couches very comfortable, and we made use of the awesome pool and hot tub. The house is affordable and is only a 5-minute walk to the beach, without crossing major roads. The only concern was some crumbs on the floor and dirt on toilets when we arrived, and the house is definitely well used, with stains on cabinets and carpets, and could use an update at some point.

Everyone agreed that this house was perfect for our needs. It was well stocked with all the essentials, had more than enough beds, seating, bathrooms and loved the additional amenities like the pool, hot tub and outdoor seating. Short but nice walk to the beach that we enjoyed. We went a few nights for ghost crab hunting which was a highlight. About a 15 minute walk to downtown Duck or a very short drive which we visited a few times. Beautiful drive to the beaches in Corolla where we went and found many wild horses and enjoyed cooking at home but also a few local restaurants. Overall loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again!

We were here for a girls trip and every single one of us commented on how pristine and cozy the house was. It has every accommodation accounted for plus more. It was clean upon arrival and Christi was wonderful with quick communication and prep prior to arriving. The games, cornhole, pool, hottub, and beach chairs are a major plus. We did go through a learning curve on how to use the kitchen sink (note: it’s tap-touch censored) but not an issue at all. I look forward to coming back. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Overall a great stay!
There were some minor issues: check in time changed last minute after flights and travel were already underway, the key code we were given did not work for the door (luckily my family had waited for the cleaning crew to finish and they gave us the correct code number), had issues with some of the batteries to the TV being dead/dying, the upstairs freezer gets off axel and doesn’t close fully sometimes (keep an eye out for this).
The location is perfect - Close enough to things, yet gives a nice secluded feeling. The house is so big and cleanly and each room has super cute decor. This home truly does have a little bit of everything for everyone! Would recommend this house to others.

This house was just perfect for our trip. We brought in our best friends from Oklahoma and showed them what the Outer Banks was all about. Bright Dreams was the perfect fit from the decor to the spacious interior and the pool and hot tub outside. The basketball court out front was another huge hit with the four boys between our two families! Hands down it was just a beautiful and relaxing space for us to spend time together. Christi was so good at answering all of our questions and making the check in/out process as seamless as possible. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful stay in Duck!

Our house was perfect for all 13 of us ages ranging from newborn to 72 yrs old! Plenty of beach chairs with only a 3 block walk to the ocean. All beds and furniture very comfortable. Lots of kitchen dishes, pots and pans. There were a few maintenance issues and they responded very quickly. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper & trash bags however LOL! Plan to rent it again next year! Close to town of Duck and grocery! Nice deck furniture too!! The only thing that would be nice is to have more than 3 bikes to ride. Washer & dryer came in handy also!

House was a winner for everyone in our family of 12. Fit our size group perfectly. Plenty of room, LOTS of thought went into proving all conveniences and needs necessary. Clean, comfortable, well appointed. Definitely shows owners pride. Location is at the back end of the neighborhood - a 5 minute walk to the beach access. However, we rented a golf cart from Zoom Around and made getting back and forth to the beach and into town super fun!

This was our family's second stay at this property. Unfortunately, we arrived to find several maintenance issues - like the pool lining ripped and leaking and the kitchen cooktop damaged so badly it was totally inoperable. Pool people came quickly and we were about to use it. Cooktop was not repaired and we were forced to use an electric frying pan - which thankfully was included in the property kitchen. A quicker repair would have made our stay much nicer. We have already rebooked this property for 2023, but just might complain louder if these large items are a part of the picture!

We visited Bright Dreams Ahead with two other families and it was fantastic! Three separate suites for the parents plus two rooms for kids (plus lots of other space). This house was very clean, super well-equipped and had great extra spaces for everyone to spread out. Only about a 5 minute walk to the beach, it was easy to go back and forth. We especially loved the open kitchen/family room, lots of eating space and outdoor space. Highly recommend!

This home is like you're home away from home only better. Modern and newly updated. Large pool. Only a few minor things that need to be addressed. The washer needs a good cleaning and the pool was not cleaned the week we stayed there. This house is a short walk to beach, no lifeguard on duty.

Property backed up to a very heavily traveled main road to Duck. The noise of traffic during the night kept some family members awake. We did not receive the parking permit to park near the beach when we arrive. We received a warning that we would receive a ticket if one was not visible in our vehicle. Had to go to the rental agency to pick one up.

These are minor issues, but overall our vacation was wonderful and the property was very nice. All the conveniences of home were provided. Our grandchildren loved the pool. Also, family enjoyed the sunrises and sunsets.

This house is just on the other side of the S. Shores sign so you are south enough to go to Nags Head and don’t have to sit in traffic too long! Short walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants in Duck Village which is nice. It’s about a 5 min walk to beach. The house has very high end appliances - done we barely knew how to use! Well stocked and clean. We liked the layout too. Pool and hot tub were a huge hit as well as the basement. Tons of fridge space and an ice maker. The house was the perfect size for our 3 families. The only downside is you don’t have any water views. You are right off the main road.

This house has all of the amenities you would ever need. Half of the things we brought, we didn't even have to unpack. The location is excellent with a short walk to the beach and easy access to local shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that, as you can imagine, with several people using the pool it collected a lot of dirt and bugs over the week which became more apparent as time went on. It would have been nice to have had the pool vacuumed during the week to make the pool more enjoyable - we netted out what we could be there was still a good deal of sand and dirt and the bottom of the pool, even though we always rinsed off before entering. I would add that there were a few large spiders and spider webs in the house when we checked in, one was so big I thought it was fake and a family member was pulling a prank. A good dusting of all of the corners of the house might help alleviate the congregation of spiders and bugs (although I know it's difficult). Overall, incredible stay and would 100% stay here again. We miss it already!

We had a lovely week at Bright Dreams Ahead. 4 minutes walk down the the beach and easy to bring all our gear using the provided wagon. The kitchen was well stocked. Kids enjoyed the pool which was nicely shaded come afternoon.

We had a few issues with the cleaning service upon our arrival (they did not complete cleaning until nearly 6pm even though check-in was stated to begin at 4pm. A Family Beach Trip that was perfect. This is our 3rd year vacationing at the Outer Banks, and this was by far, our favorite house. We had everything, and more, that we needed. It is updated, beautifully decorated and the layout of the home suited our family of 12 perfectly. The owners have thought of everything!!

Had a very nice 2 weeks. The house was lovely and extremely functional. The only things that you needed to bring was your clothes. The house has EVERYTHING you can think of. Spent most of our time by the outdoor pool which is maintained twice a week. House was neat but could use a thorough cleaning, under the couches and beds,windows, and a good wiping down.
