As they say in real estate “location, location, location”. We loved the view of the lagoon, and it was a quick walk to the boardwalk and ocean. The room was very clean and nice. I would rent again on future trips.

We stayed for a week with our 2 children and their spouses and our 11 month old granddaughter. This villa was perfect, we loved the views of the lagoon, with wildlife and Palm trees. Very short walk to the beach. The second floor master suite had a separate space for the crib. The living area was bigger than what I thought from the pictures. Kitchen was well stocked. There were even some beach chairs, toys and a cart in the parking area underneath.
We hope to come back next year.

Nice and comfortable
Nicely appointed beach house with ample room for the family. Our family rented two houses to accommodate six adults and five grandchildren but we gathered at this house because it was convenient and had room for everyone. The adults could sit and have a conversation while the grandkids romped around. Access to the beach was easy and we enjoyed the short walk to The Sanctuary for ice cream treats. The master on the second floor was very large and had plenty of quiet space for a pack-and-play for our youngest granddaughter. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the herons and egrets fish in the lagoon. We really enjoyed the house.

Love it!
Loved everything about this property! We saw so many awesome wildlife including alligators right in our back yard ❤️ My kids loved that! As a nurse, & mother of a child with severe food allergies, I really liked that there was a full bottle of antibacterial hand soap in every single bathroom and kitchen. The condo was just as described in the listing. Very spacious! Only downfall is we drove all the way from Michigan and brought our motorcycle & once we arrived, we were notified that no motorcycles are allowed on the island. No where on the listing did it state that and would have been nice to know as it caused a bit of an issue. Overall it was a great stay though! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely condo close to beach
Spacious condo; tastefully furnished; fabulous kitchen; comfortable bedding; great location near beach and many restaurants and activities. We loved sitting on the porch enjoying the lagoon view, bike bridge and wildlife.

Great place close to the beach and Night Heron park
The house was very spacious and roomy for 2 families with small kids to share. The back patio/balcony looking over the pond was very relaxing. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, and to Night Heron park/pool not much farther. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the beds were all comfortable. The only constructive criticism I have is that the number of bowls for cereal, oatmeal, etc could be increased, and a pot size in between the sauce pot and stock pot size would also be nice.

Beach was a 5 min walk. Lots of biking on the paths and on the beach, The flat beach is great for biking, bocce, and building sand castles. We spent part of each morning and evening on the deck watching the ospreys, turtles, and alligators. The Night Heron Park is 5 min away. Plenty of room to park cars and bikes.Even got to see the annual Easter parade go right in front of the condo! Had a terrific stay!

Good views
Good views, adequate space. Cleanliness of kitchen and bathroom were a concern. Some bed frames were broken. Uneven temperatures throughout the house. Some rooms very warm, others very cold. Property manager was difficult to contact. Walking distance to the beach.

Nice location, but Needs work
wasn't as clean as expected, we left it cleaner than it was on arrival. Ants crawling all over sun deck, couldn't enjoy. Furniture worn and uncomfortable.

From ocean views to pond views
First time staying in this beautiful part of Kiawah. We’ve never stayed on the ponds, previously have stayed with an ocean view, and thought we might be disapppinted. That was certainly not the case! Very much enjoyed the flora and fauna of the Pond! Birds! So many birds! The property is across from the bridge which crosses the pond, so if you don’t mind a little more foot and bike traffic, or do enjoy some people watching, the new deck is a perfect perch! Short walk to the beach. That area of the 10 mile beach can be quite congested, from the heavy load of rental places in that part of the island. Get to the beach early or expect a short walk, to spread yourself out from your neighbors. We took the car down to Mariners Watch, dropped off the wagon, beach chairs and cooler to a thinner spot and the chauffeur (my son) took the car back and walked back down to meet the rest of us. The property is well stocked with everything you may need. Kitchen necessities, toiletries, cleaning supplies, linens. The only thing I couldn’t find was a pair of scissors! The photos online are very accurate. The master bedroom is huge. The tub didn’t have the best drainage and the overhead fan didn’t work, if I need to find any fault. The furniture and color schemes are depicted. Take them or leave them. We were comfortable and had plenty of room to spread out (vacationing with adult children. Need I say more...). I have no hesitation renting here again!

Dead cockroaches, dirty (Cheetos) in sofa on arrival, worn mattresses, in need of painting. These are just the major issues.

Fabulous location!
We loved the location! The roominess of the condo was fabulous! Very close to the beach. Beautiful sunrise! Go eat at Loggerhead Grill at the Sanctuary! It’s casual poolside dining and you can swim or go to the beach while waiting on your food. It’s a little spendy but portions are plentiful and the food is great.
Was disappointed in the housekeeping that was prepared before us. It was not disgusting, but not pristine like you’d expect for the tacked on cleaning fees. I called and expect they will fix this problem with their staff. Really looked like all they did is change the sheets (I hope) and stick towels and soap products. The floors had sand on them and table, stainless had not been cleaned. It was nothing we could not work around- just disappointing for the cost is all.

Good villa
we love the location between the beach and night heron, which is why we have booked this unit many times. Through family we have access to Night Heron pool, without that we would probably stay in another unit

Property was as described; clean and comfortable. Close to the beach and other facilities, but an end unit, so no neighbor noise. Kitchen utensils and equipment could use an upgrade, but didn't detract from our overall enjoyment.

Nice location, five minute walk to beach, upstairs bedrooms very nice, well supplied kitchen. Tile edges on the step down from kitchen, dining area to living area had broken and missing grout which could be a tripping hazard. The headboards of the twin beds downstairs we're loose and banged the wall as you get in or out of the beds. The kitchen had small sugar eating ants on the counters. Though we called about this within the first hour, the problem wasn't resolved. We had to go buy a bug killer spray and secure all food products. Next day someone brought "Windex and hand towels" but we sent them away as we didn't realize that was their response to our problem. No one ever contacted us to see if the problem was corrected. Would not use this place again.

The Island was lovely, however, it could use more restaurants to accomodate the visitors. The property we stayed in was very outdated. A door was hanging by one hinge in first floor bathroom. We found a dirty washcloth in the vanity drawer of the same bathroom. It had been wet and dried up in the drawer leaving stain on drawer bottom. The stovetop was not clean The bedding was shabby and old. Would not stay there again.However, getting beyond all that the property was located very close to the ocean with a lake behind it. That we enjoyed.

This is a lovely 3 BR villa overlooking the foot bridge across the "lake" at Night Heron. Well decorated, clean, and very convenient to the boardwalk to the beach at the Windswept complex. Would rent again.

We waited too long and missed out on the villa we usually rent each year and were "stuck" with this one. It was our best mistake ever! The location was perfect and the villa was outstanding - well-appointed, nicely decorated and clean. My only suggestion is it could use some new bedding and pillows. We're already planning to request this villa next summer!

Location -5 stars; we made this reservation last minute and picked it based on the location which is fabulous. If you are renting chairs, Boardwalk 21 is what you should tell them. The marketplace is less than 5 minute bike ride if you need something and don't want to trek to Freshfields. However this place needs some major love and updating. I love the 80s but staying in a place stuck in the 80s not so much. Yes it has stainless steel appliances but the rest of the place is original and very outdated. I was confused by some of the reviews saying it was updated because it's not. The carpet is need of replacement and there is carpet in the master bath vanity area, gross. Bathrooms have mold in the grout and frankly the place could use a very through cleaning. We had some unwanted visitors of the crawling nature when we arrived. I did notify Beachwalker that we had several palmetto bugs which I guess if they are dead it's okay according to them. We were there a short period of time so I didn't pursue and we just kept capturing them in plastic cups. We had a great time on Kiawah as always. If you want nostalgia with a great location then this is your place.
