We continue to enjoy the great views and lovely gardens at Sea Lodge. The property improvements we suggested last year were made and appreciated. However, the unit directly below ours was being remodeled, so we heard and felt banging and heard the whine of power tools daily, despite the management company noting it was prohibited on Sundays and holidays. Our water and power was cut off more than once, sometimes without us being notified. The property management company protected the property owner below us, Kauai Kahuna made their money on the reservation, but didn't warn us of the impending construction. The C7 owners were probably unaware of this situation. We usually spend some of our days reading and resting, but that was not undisturbed this year. Also, the message was lost that the dishwasher didn't work, so we hand washed our dishes the 2 weeks we were there. This was our first real disappointment with our Sea Lodge experiences over the last 15-20 years. We will likely go back next year, but expect to not be so mistreated.

Enjoyed our stay, we’re not in the unit many hours. Place was clean and sufficient for our needs. Several updates would make it more estheticslly pleasing. Bathrooms were dated and unit showed its ware. Please watch toes on shins on master bed frame. I’ll be bruised for days, but not any more than what I got hiking the Napoli coast
No curtains in front room where there was one bed.

Great views. Loved this condo. Didn’t like the check out procedures regarding they only wash two towels per bathroom or charge a laundry fee. Condo could use a little tlc, broken blinds would be an easy fix. But besides that the price was great for what we got and would stay again.

The views were what made us book this condo! We loved sitting on the porch and watching the waves! Looking into the reefs and seeing turtles! I did think the house wasn’t as clean as it could have been, but definitely wasn’t filthy by any means. I just think the house could use a deep cleaning in the cracks and corners. Something fell beside the lounge bed in the living room and when I went to grab it the crumbs and dust had been there a little longer than they should have been. I would stay again however!

We always our time on Kauai and Sea Lodge. We especially liked the ceiling fan over the master bed. Unfortunately, this bed, like others in this configuration, have a wood frame outside the mattress which is great for barking one's shin. The property needed maintenance that should have been done before we arrived: several window blinds were non-functional, some windows didn't open for cross breeze and lights had burned out. You don't have much control over the complex swimming pool being replastered. The landscaping, as always, is beautiful.

However, there were a number of "little" disappointing things about this property, that when added-up, equal a lot.Can opener didn't work (we reported it, but never received a new one).No baking pan (had to buy a disposable foil pan)Electric sockets in the main bedroom did not work.We were given a toilet paper "starter kit"...after that, you have to buy your own. Really?Only a Roku TV, so there's that.Pool was closed for maintenance (apparently this was disclosed on one VRBO website, though it was buried in the fine print...should have been more prominent.Overall condition: old and dated. Part of the deck floor was rotting away. Place needs a serious upgrade.You'd think when spending over $400 a night, you'd have everything you need, and that they'd reinvest into the condition of the property. So, a 3-star rating.

I would stay at Sea Lodge again because if the location - close to the water and access to the beautiful small beach. The condo exteriors need work but it looks like they are starting on that. The unit was comfortable and well laid out though be aware that there are not doors on either bedroom. Suppose that helps with air circulation. Bathroom needs more towel bars or hooks!

Dated property with several issues
This was a very dated property. Things felt old and dingy. But more than that, there were several problems with the condo:
- The microwave didn't work. Called property manager and they said they couldn't do anything about it during our stay.
- One of the window screens was broken. I called the property manager on Saturday and he said he'd send someone right away. I said we'd be out most of the day at the beach and he said that was fine, but no one came and we weren't notified. I had to call again when we got back to let him know no one came and that's when he told me that the maintenance person who came didn't have the key. And that he wouldn't be able to come by until two more days later (no one came before we left to fix the screen).
- There was a bad smell coming from the kitchen. We scrubbed and cleaned to see if that would help it to go away, but it didn't.

The sunset view from the balcony is one of the best, and overall the condo was exactly what we needed for the family. Excellent location
This property has a fantastic ocean view in all the rooms. Its a 5-10 min short hike to the beach & a small waterfall. It’s a little small but there’s only 4 of us & we were not home most of the time so it’s fine. I’m petite so the bed was ok with me but the beds are short for my son who’s 6’2. I was able to contact the manager whenever I needed to speak to her. As much as I love looking at the ocean I would have liked to have blinds/curtains to be able to sleep in. They could provide for more essentials such as more than 1 roll of paper towel to use. They want clean extra towels but not enough detergent was provided. So I was always at the store buying stuff.
The microwave works but some buttons don’t. The dishwasher didn’t work great but I just hand washed the dishes, not a big deal. Will I rent this property again? I’m not sure. Like I said the location is great if only they would resolve those little issues, I might.

The view from this condominium is amazing. There is no air-conditioning, but it is not really necessary because the breezes are more than sufficient to cool off the rooms. The design is cute and the amenities are quite sufficient and useful.
There is a waterfall and beach just below the condo, but you will have to hike about ten minutes to get to it. Just follow the "Beach Trail", go around the left side of the small water tower and follow the trail to the water. There is a very nice beach to the left and really nice waterfall to the right. Neither are in view when you reach the water, so keep going!
On another note, the Kauai Kahuna Vacation Rentals staff is very proactive and supportive should you have any needs. I will definitely be booking with them in the future!

We have stayed at a few places at sealodge, and we keep coming back to this one. (C7) it is perfect for us in every way. From the location to the units furnishings, it has everything you need. You can see whales and dolphins from the lanai each morning. If you love the sound of crashing waves? This unit is for you. It is so dark here at night you will see shooting stars all night long. The unit has a washer and dryer in side, so don't over back. It also built in bug controls aka geckos. If you want to feel like you're at home while on vacation? Stay here. We will be back again.

Amazing views! Great place to stay!
We chose this place to be close to Hanalei for surfing and for the view, and it did not disappoint. Awesome views right out every window and the balcony. You can hear the waves crashing all of the time. It took a little adjusting at first but now I think I am going to miss it. It was just my husband and I so there was plenty of room, in fact there is an extra loft and bathroom upstairs.
The place is lovely and has everything you need to cook meals while you are here. (We only cooked breakfast.)
We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing north shore view
Beautiful view of the ocean. Short hike down to the water. Close to Queen's Bath and Turtle Cove. No A/C but it cools off at night with the windows open. You can listen to the waves crashing as you fall asleep. Close to Food Land(local grocery store). Check in/check out was super easy.

View amazing! Condo disappointing
The view of the ocean from this condo is the best part of the condo!! The condo was okay but it was definitely not what we were expecting based on the pictures. It could use some repairs and updating. The furniture is worn and outdated but still functional. The frig needs to be thoroughly cleaned ! We saw roaches during our stay, in the kitchen and then in the master closet. Called and asked if maintenance could come and spray and were told no they spray on a schedule. The trade winds spoken of that cool off the condo were coming from the South and the East and all of the main windows and patio doors faced north. It was EXTREMELY HOT even with every fan in the condo on it was very uncomfortable. We tried to stay out of the condo as early as possible and not come back until 8 or 9 pm it would cool down a bit then. Sure wish we could have experienced those trade winds we kept hearing about. It appeared that the last guest left a gift in the condo it was on a plate on the book shelf it was a dead rotting hermit crab or some sort of shelled creature that had died and had maggots crawling all over it! Talk about disgusting! It smelled terrible! The lock on the patio door is still broken but there is a stick you put on the track to keep from Opening. The patio door easily comes off the track and needs to be repaired. The fan in the living room works but the top of it is broken with a large piece missing and wires exposed. The box fan is filthy and we were concerned about the dust and dirt trapped inside blowing out on us. Maintence mowed the first 2 days we were there and grass clippings and dirt blew in our window and were all over our bed 2 days in a row. Very fine grass clippings also covered the pool as well. I ended up breaking out from the grass clippings being on the bed. When we arrived it was dark and there were no lights on in the condo and when we were stumbling around with all of our luggage trying to find a switch or a lamp we discovered all the lamps were unplugged. I assume to save on electricity but when you have a guest checking in, they should at least plug in the lamp closest to the door if not leave at least a nightlight or something on. We were so hot and uncomfortable we ended up leaving 3 days early and booking a resort that had a.c.
Overall we would not stay there again and were disappointed in the accommodations.

Nice condo with beautiful views. We traveled in early August and it was too hot without air conditioning!! The couches and beds were comfortable and the location central. The kitchen could be cleaned better and they should fix the garbage disposal.

Sea Cliff was wonderful
My husband and I loved our condo at Sea Cliff. The view was spectacular and we loved everything about the space. It was homey, much better than staying at a hotel. The location in Princeville was ideal for what we needed. We both look forward to coming back soon!
