Die Anreise hat ohne weitere Probleme funktioniert. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Gastgeberin empfangen. Obwohl die Gastgeber nur wenig Englisch verstanden hatten, war der Aufenthalt dennoch problemlos. Das Zimmer war außerordentlich sauber und das Frühstück am Morgen sehr lecker. Es gab kleine Kuchen, frisches Obst, Joghurt und Toast mit verschiedenen Belägen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, kommen wir auf jedenfall wieder!

Great stay, house is amazing and cleanest ever. They serve good breakfast. Hosts are so polite and kind. Parking is behind locked fence. We enjoyed our saying there. I recommend.

Very nice and helpful hosts. Safe parking behind closed gate. Room was fresh, modern and clean. There was a balcony with great view to marble mountains. Hotel was close to city. Room was quiet - we couldn't hear neighbors or street noises. Territory was well maintained and clean.

Modern and clean room (super quiet too), perfectly functioning AC and super nice hosts! Easy to reach various nearby locations (Marina di Massa is 15 minutes away). Breakfast is good (Italian style i.e. only sweet).

Amazing stay. Location is good for both the mountain and the sea. Paolo is so very friendly and thoughtful, offering cold water as soon as we arrived. The house is very secure with gates and security doors. No room numbers for added security. The room was spotless and the bathroom was so nice I want to replicate at home. There is a fridge and our room had a terrace with a view of the mountain which we enjoyed. Breakfast had many options but stand out was the home made apple cake. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful place, very clean and quiet. We had ver nicely decorated room with lots of storage, everything there looks brand new. Breakfast was served by lovely couple which was very nice and attentive .

Our stay at Merlo d’Oro was fantastic, and the owners are amazing people, very friendly and welcoming. Paulo was a superstar and very warm and welcoming, always happy to offer assistance! It was one of our best stays for a long time and I would love to stay again if I am passing through the area. Is also a good location to stay if wanting to visit Cinque Terre for day trips. We went on the train from the nearby Carrara station each day to Cinque Terre. Highly recommended and definitely a great place to stay.

The owner was super friendly, very kind and hospitable. Unfortunately he wasn't speaking english and we didn't speak Italian so we couldn't make the most of it. We had a lovely and spacious room in a floor with terrace with a nice mountain view. Everything super clean. Private parking in the yard. Breakfast was excellent. Their homemade apple pie is something different, don't miss it! Totally recommend.

I think we had to wait a few minutes to get hot water in the shower. Not a big deal.

Wonderful surrounding and panorama on the marble mountain. Very kind and helpful hosts. The accommodation is a bit far by walk - half way between the historic city Carrara and the beach (4 km each) -, but transfers from / to the station has been offered, and for our stay we got bikes to discover the area. Renovated, clean, spacious room, with air conditioning, and a small refrigerator. Soundproof windows. Delicious breakfast with homemade cakes. Water has been offered on arrival and departure. Great attention to covid safety. And we were really lucky: an evening, under the light of the full moon, silence, Tuscan wine on the terrace facing the marble mountain :)
