Lovely, serene place to stay!

Clean place, quiet and private location. Great for couples and families looking to relax and get some R&R. The main level floor was malfunctioning, and property management was notified immediately. Due to it being a holiday, a makeshift solution was provided that worked for us so ultimately it didn’t hinder our experience.

We had never heard of sylva, NC but wanted to check out more of the mountains. This location was perfect. The climb up the mountain was a little scary, but that's virtually all mountain cabin rentals. The location was fantastic and we loved visiting the local areas and relaxing. We even got visited by a herd of wild turkeys at one point. Would highly recommend this location.

Fantastic cabin. Very clean, comfortably furnished and well-equipped. Incredible fire pit with wood and fire-starter handy. The porch has a great view and, of course, rocking chairs. If you're not up for grilling on the porch there are some very good restaurants and brew pubs in Dillsboro and Sylva. There is top-notch fishing at the foot of the drive to the cabin. Definitely a five star place to stay.

The property was just what we needed! We are the top cabin on the mountain, surrounded by the woods! The wrap around porch is awesome you can sit in the rockers and just enjoy the outdoors. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed.

The Rainbow Run is an excellent cabin, very clean and comfortable. Also, convenient to so much in the area! Sundog Rentals has been outstanding to work with and took care of our needs immediately when we decided to stay another night. Thank you Ashley and team!

My husband and I stayed at Rainbow Run and it was perfect. The home was beautiful and so clean. It had everything that we needed like a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, a fire pit and the views were amazing. The house even had a nice collection of books and games. The communication with Sundog was great. The internet worked perfectly. We had an issue with the fireplace and when I called the office, they were extremely helpful and so kind. They walked us through the process to start the gas fireplace and it worked great. We will definitely stay at this home again. Highly recommend it and sundog!

Immaculate!!!!! Well appointed with up-to-date kitchen appliances and everything that you need in the kitchen. Beautiful location. Mattress was comfortable except on the ends you tended to sag on both sides. Plenty of hot water for showers even though it's just the two of us. And I'm actually in love with your washer and dryer!!! Glad to have a sensor lighting outside since we were Secluded. Which the privacy was wonderful and the peace and quiet. we would be very interested in staying in another one of your rentals in the future!!!! Thank you very much we had a wonderful stay!!

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this property and would be happy to stay again. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We didn’t spend a ton of time there as we were exploring the surrounding area but our dinners and fire pit usage were fun. It was what you would want for a weekend getaway. All the logistics were well managed and professionally communicated as well. So all around great stay and hope to do it again.

Dog friendly girls retreat
This cabin was perfect for our girls retreat. The wrap around porch was a great place to hang out and have drinks. As many others mentioned, the road leading to the rental is steep and narrow, but there are plenty of places to pull off if you do encounter another car heading up or down the hill. I have an SUV, but another guest has a 15year old Camry and it made it up no problem. The cabin is exactly as advertised and extremely clean. Check in and out was very easy, and we received prompt responses when we reached out to the rental company. The kitchen is set up better than I have ever seen in a rental, with plenty of kitchen tools and dishes to prepare meals. Basics like oil and even s’mores ingredients are provided for you!
My pup loved sniffing around in the woods, there seem to be lots of wildlife around the area. There is nothing stopping the neighbor dogs (or any other wildlife)from coming to visit, so keep that in mind when you book! It is close to other things, but feels completely secluded when you are at the top of the hill in the cabin.
It is exactly what we were looking for and I would absolutely book this cabin again when we are in the area.

Very Clean Cabin!!
Very clean with everything you need! Plenty of space for my family of 5 with 2 dogs. The toad up to the house was a little scary but we made it. I should say I was scared, my husband was fine. The beds were very comfy and we felt right at home!

The cottage was perfect for our group. Great location for WCU graduation. The kitchen well stocked and beautiful. Would stay again but I do recommend arriving before dark for the first time drive up the mountain to the cottage.
