IL FARO È a pochi passi dalla nostra spiaggia e dal Golfo del Messico. Crediamo che la migliore vacanza sia quella che ti porta lontano da casa, ma ha la stessa sensazione di casa. Ecco perché THE LIGHTHOUSE ha tutti i comfort che potresti desiderare! Una sensazione di casa al mare casa completamente attrezzata, casa per le vacanze splendidamente decorata. Piano di lavoro in quarzo con barra rovesciata in pietra in questa cucina in stile Galley Island che offre molto spazio per cucinare e intrattenere insieme a un mobile bar all'estremità dell'isola. Il soggiorno offre due (2) set di comodi divani letto in morbida pelle scamosciata in microfibra (letti potenziati) due (2) divani d'amore, DVD, cavo e connessione wireless WI-FI / DSL! Divertimento è straordinario nella nostra casa! La nostra casa dispone di tre camere da letto: due sono situate al piano principale (ognuna con letti Queen e TV via cavo) con un bagno completo al piano principale. Il livello inferiore, è dove si trova la 3a camera da letto. Una spaziosa camera decorata con due (2) letti queen size, TV via cavo, stereo e bagno completo (le scale esterne sono utilizzate per accedere all'area principale superiore della casa al piano inferiore). Il nostro favoloso faro ha un compattatore di rifiuti, acqua per i piatti, lavatrice / asciugatrice a grandezza naturale, pentole, padelle, stoviglie, griglie, due terrazze coperte, cortile immacolato con un sistema di irrigazione, quattro altalene e una fossa per le scarpe da cavallo! Il nostro patio coperto al piano superiore ha mobili in stile pit con quattro sedie e tavolo E una magnifica vista sull'oceano! Patio al piano di sotto ha quattro altalene, barbecue, costruito in un piccolo tavolo in piedi Vista favolosa sulla spiaggia e sull'oceano e buca a ferro di cavallo! Siamo orgogliosi del nostro cortile in modo da poter giocare senza scarpe! Una casa vacanza perfetta per famiglia e / o amici. Questa casa può ospitare fino a 12. A pochi passi di distanza dal Golfo del Messico, con una vista fantastica su qualsiasi posto tu stia!

Ottimo accesso alla spiaggia, alloggi spaziosi e ottima comunicazione con la padrona di casa. Le famiglie con bambini e cani adoreranno l'ambiente tranquillo e rilassante. Goditi la vista sull'oceano e la comodità di essere vicino alla spiaggia!

Great place to stay easy walk to beach. House had everything we needed and it was nice and clean. Looks like they recently updated downstairs.

Check in process was easy, great location. However house is pretty old and not cleaned well. Piles of dust on every ceiling fan, air vents covered in dust. There was a light fixture in the closet hanging loose with wiring exposed. Downstairs was completely separate from the main house and smelt very musty and the window AC is not powerful enough to cool to our liking. The shower in the lower level had large cracks and was very dirty. We had to clean it ourselves for our stay and killed 5 spiders within the first hour in that lower level room.
Manager was very helpful and even reimbursed us some money for the troubles we had, and plans to do repairs. Overall very unhappy with how clean the property was. Not up to standard of other rentals I have stayed at from VRBO.

When we first arrived, the upstairs front door was wide open and there were lots of flies. It was frightening because we have two young children and we didn't know if there were people inside. The house was dirty and it just didn't feel clean. It was grungy, dust bunnies under the couches, grimey shower, and the front porch furniture was broken and dangerous. The legs on the chairs were so dwindled, that I almost fell as I sat down and I'm not large so it was not a weight issue.
The decorations were cute and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Very short walk to the beach and the ocean. It was beautiful. The property would be so much better if better cleaning and repairs were made.
The property owner was cordial and professional, however we didn't feel comfortable 😕.
Lastly, one day into our stay a wind storm came and blew all the trash into the street and into the yard. This was trash from the previous renters. We had to touch nasty trash and clean it all up. The property owner should ensure that the trash is taken care and all bases are covered prior to any arrival.

We had such a great time! We love being so close to the beach. It was very quiet and spacious. The whole family had a great time. Was perfect for my family! 4 adults and 2 kids! The hostess communicated very well with us. We will book here again!

This is a fun house with a little yard a few steps from the beach. The kitchen has everything you need. Just bring extra paper towels and toilet paper. We ran out of both. The mattresses were a little worn in but manageable. Both of the AC's worked great when it got warm.
We appreciated the space we were afforded by having a room on the ground level.
I would rent again.

Great access to beach, so easy for the kids and grown-ups to run back to the house as needed. Perfect size for our 2 families totaling 4 adults and 6 kids and a dog. Would stay here again.

Loved our stay at The Lighthouse! So peaceful and relaxing! Love the 4 swings underneath house. Our favorite spot! This was our 2nd stay and will definitely be coming ack soon!

The trip was a big success. The Lighthouse was perfect for our whole family of 10. The environment was cozy, decorated perfectly, supplied with everything that we needed. Plus, our host was very sweet and accommodating on keeping us posted and answering any questions that were asked. Everyone enjoyed the beach and the access to all the amenities were at our fingertips.
It was a very special trip for the family and we all enjoyed it immensely. Thank you!!!

House was great, with lots of room for eating and hanging out. There was a broken screen that flapped loudly in the wind on a stormy night. The downstairs bathroom had questionable flooring in the shower that was unsteady. That was disappointing. However, nice enough that one of our party has already rebooked for July.

Never saw the property. I paid on time and in full. However, last minute I was cancelled by owner because of bed bugs. Would have been worse if invite had shown up. Property owner refunded her money, but VRBO has not their share. So I am out around $300 to $400. I should have been refunded in full. Bad experience.

This property location was perfect since we were visiting with family that also owns in this neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and my daughters loved having their "own space" downstairs, while we had our place upstairs. It was almost like a 2 for 1. We have already made arrangements to book again at the Lighthouse.

I rented this because it was next to another rental so my large family could stay together. The location was awesome, literally a short walk to an uncrowded beach. Perfect!
The house itself wasn't as clean as I would've liked. After checking in for several hours and unpacking I noticed things like old pee on the side of the toilet (you know, those round things at the bottom), hair and dust on the bedside table, stains and crumbs and hair inside the sofa beds. Mostly the place just needs a good deep cleaning.
There were not enough sheets and pillows for the sofa beds that were in the listing, so the first night we had to sleep on top of a blanket. The host was responsive, and sent more the next day. I wanted to ask her to send her cleaning person to take care of some of the things I had noticed, but my husband thought that would be weird since we already had unpacked all our stuff and he didn't want to be there while she was cleaning.

Bermuda beach 2022
We enjoyed our stay at The Lighthouse. Although my first preference is always a first row house this was a close second. Just a short walk to a pretty private beach area. View is somewhat obstructed by a house and telephone poles but we could still see enough of the water so it wasn’t a big issue.

Best beach house
This was a last minute booking and Janette called me right away with details! She communicated very well and made our experience 10/10. This house has amazing view that it was so nice to relax in the swings or upstairs patio with plenty of seatings … I would make my coffee and sit out and relax(it also has keurig and coffee maker for options just bring your own pods or grounded coffee). I cooked in our stay and kitchen was fully equipped even have 3 different grills (bring your own charcoal). Rooms are spacious and comfortable beds. Living room space is spacious and plenty of board games available to play. We had our own beach chairs and umbrella but the house has an outside chest full of beach stuff just in case you forget anything. Overall our stay was amazing and look forward to coming back soon. My family and I enjoyed this unit and would give it a 4.5 star review due to three small yet simple issues:
1.) We had (6) adults stay and the grill in place was very small, very unstable and ready to be replaced;
2.) The downstairs bathroom light is out and due to corrosion, we decided not to change it out(A bathroom without a light is not good);
3.) We could not figure out how to get the dishwasher to turn off from a preprogrammed run time;
We were in town for a wedding and had no desire for a maintenance guy coming into the property when we were not around.
These are all small issues and I let the owners know directly. If corrected this would be a glowing 5 star review.

Quick and fun get away
My daughter and I went down to Galveston with a few other friends and had a pleasant time at this house. It is a great view of the water and practically on the beach. The house was clean and the owner communicated quickly to our questions. I will definitely be staying here again.

Perfect Spring Break getaway!
We loved staying here for Spring Break! The location is perfect & the quick walk to the beach is so nice! We really enjoyed the huge kitchen/living room! And the downstairs porch swings were awesome. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the best CHRISTMAS my granddaughter is 6 and she wants to come back every year. The beds are comfy the house is clean and great for gatherings

Best Labor Day ever!
This house was perfect for our family … literally a two minute walk to beach! We were able to see kids from the house. Private beach quiet neighborhood! House was very well equipped for all of our needs! Will definitely be back to this house! Thank you for making our Labor Day one to remember!

Nice but not impressive
The outstanding issue is the ground level bedroom/bath. The space smelled musty and moldy to the extent that no on could use the room. I was concerned that someone would become ill from the environment if they slept there.The owner must have been aware as there were odor blocks place in the room to cover up the smell.

Picture Perfect!
We went for a long weekend with 3 couples. Check in was easy, house was clean, views from the down stairs porch swings were outstanding. Overall we had a great stay, the down stairs room offered lots of privacy from our group while also being the coolest room in the house due to the window unit. It was HOT so that was super nice. We loved the kitchen with the large bar and cooking area since we cooked all our meals. The walk to the beach was as advertised and super close! We even loaded the truck and drove it around the corner to unload making taking chairs, pop tents, coolers, and bags fast and easy. Beds were comfortable, beach was private, and location in reference to a gas station, general store, and fish market was perfect. Although we did not have to contact the owners while we were there they were responsive and helpful before and after our stay. Highly recommend and we look forward to coming back.
We did find the hidden drink shaker in the kitchen which was a fun surprise! (you will have to open something)

Health hazard
The house itself is in a great location, next to the beach and far enough from town that the beach wasn’t busy. However the place it’s self needs a little maintenance throughout. But the major issue is that the downstairs shower pan has a crack. The owner is aware of it and after I looked back at the reviews after our stay someone let her know in 2016. I can only assume that 5 years of water going under the house has finally done it’s toll. As soon as we walked in the smell hit us so hard. All of the adults were taking back because it was so unbearable. My children instantly had a allergic reaction to what we assume to be mold and mildew. We gave them medicine and they were fine and kept them out of there the rest of the trip. I went and purchased glad plug ins just to help. The owner has a dehumidifier and wet Oder eaters all through the down stairs. At first she tried to blame the a/c then the rain. She did give us a partial refund without any real fuss however she did tell me that I next time I should vacation in the mountains if I have children with allergies lol. We all ended up sleeping upstairs due to the situation down stairs which made it very tight .. so if you need this amount of space for your trip keep in mind there are 2 beds downstairs that are not In my opinion not safe to use . The fact that she is aware of the problem and is trying to cover it up while charging this amount of money is absurd. Take these peoples money and fix the problem.

Getting the family together this weekend was special and this cabin made it perfect! There was plenty of sleeping space, the kitchen is massive and perfect for entertaining, the completely enclosed upstairs deck was awesome for waking up every morning with coffee and enjoying the view with the kids and pup, the 5 minute trek to the beach was easy (bringing a wagon was a smart choice), and the kids loved relaxing on the swings downstairs with their ice creams from the ice cream truck that came by. Thank you for the opening your cabin to us and for allowing us to create life-long memories! We hope to come back!

Family vacation 2021
Overall we had a wonderful vacation. Location was awesome. We had a beautiful view. Plenty of room for our family and we had 10 total. The only negative that I could say is the housekeepers do not do a good job at all. We had to clean things when we arrived. The bed linens was not washed before we arrived, they had hair and stains all over them. Now they do have a number listed for the housekeepers but I seen the work they did so we just jumped in and did it ourselves. Everything else was wonderful. Thank you for opening your home to our family.
