Excellent hosts, very well equipped apartment with all the basics you could need, supermarket nearby, very comfortable stay.

The house was spacey, clean and comfortable. The host was friendly and helpful. Always in touch for every request/question. I would recommend it without second thought.

The location is ideal, if you want to be in Northern Athens, in a quiet neighbourhood. The location is best if you have a car as it takes a bit of time to get out from the small, narrow residential roads around Kifissia / Pefki. Grocery shopping is easy as there is a great little market at the end of the road with friendly english-speaking staff who are eager to help - also if you need help to call a taxi. Greek hospitality at its best.

We arrived on a day with snow/frost - and the heating in the room, incl hot water, had defaulted due to electricity problems. Andreas (the host) solved the issue within the same day (great job), but we had a day with a bit of difficulty. There is private parking to the flat (one of the very nice amenities of the flat) but unfortunately there was no line markings done in the space between this flat and the neighbour - which meant that when the neighbour's car was parked slightly odd, there was difficulty in getting the car in place. Andreas pointed this out to the neighbour but line markings at the parking space would have been nice to avoid any issues. It could also be a good idea to increase the chimney efficiency if you use the open fireplace - I would personally prefer a closed fireplace to avoid any issues.

The house was fully equipped and spacious, making our stay very comfortable. It has a lovely balcony, the rooms are quite big and there is a parking space which is a plus! The area is quiet, ideal for familes and the host is very polite and responsive.

It was all great, however, if you don't have a car maybe it is not that easy to move around.

Andreas and his sons were wonderful: kind, generous and helpful, from the start of the stay to the end. The apartment was comfortable, clean and really well furnished -- even as far as having washing detergent, washing-up liquid etc so we didn't have to buy any just for a relatively short stay. The area is pretty, too, and there are lovely restaurants, coffee shops, a playground, etc not far away (and a mini-market and pharmacy at the end of the road). Perfect for all we (including our three-year-old) needed!

The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Big apartment. All facilities were provided. Very good communication with the owners.

Really nice homely apartment with terrace over looking a quiet garden. Away from the noise of the busy centre but close enough to shops and transport links. Helpful and welcoming owners. We had a very relaxing stay at Mother’s House.
