We were impressed. We felt that anything we needed we could call Sandra and she would answer any question. She went above and beyond.

Last trip was pre covid and we prefer to rent a house in Nassau as it is easy to get around. Very nice to have a pool, house is equipped with everything and is very nice for larger groups. Nice to be able to walk to the beach. did our usual outings. I was very sad to see since covid they have shut down all public washrooms for beaches as well as they seem to be neglecting clean up of the beaches and public areas. The amount of homeless dogs was also unreal, as they sleep on the beach in the evening. Nassau is a beautiful island and we always enjoy our selves and the people. This is a nice property to stay at

The home was very well kept, good supplies such as water available and very convenient/appreciated. Home was perfect for two families to have their own space in the bedrooms. The foliage around the property was beautiful. Outdoor lighting and safety features appreciated, felt very safe day and night. Sonja and Ray were available at any time we needed anything. Our husbands LOVED the golf that Ray booked for them. Amazing stay!

We stayed with our family of 9 at Raymond and Sonja’s beautiful home! The house was very spacious and very well stocked for a vrbo. We loved the pool and outdoor deck area. The owners were very quick to reply to any questions we had!

Nice large property with good outdoor space and nearly every facility you could want. We had a couple of minor issues, all of which were attended to and resolved the same day by Ray, what more can you ask!

Host was awesome. House is beautiful and very clean. Definitely recommend beautiful house and great location. Definitely will be staying here again when me and my wife go again.

Wonderful property for families! Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, big dining room table for eating, nice TV seating area. Big plus is wonderful swimming pool. Our two grandkids really enjoyed the pool. Very nice landscaping all around the property. Other plus is close proximity (2 minute walk) to Saunders beach, one of the top beaches on the island. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone, but families in particular.

Ray and Sonja are super hosts! We had traveled across the US on a red eye and when we arrived were treated to some real coconut 🥥 water with a splash of fun to get our vacation going! The house s everything it says it is! All 4 bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and tons of space. Ray and Sonja always replied quickly with any questions or needs! The pool was very clean and well maintained! The grounds are beautiful and extremely safe! Saunders and Goodmans beach just a short walk away. Thank you 🙏 so much for allowing us to stay in your amazing home! We had so much fun and will be back! Thanks again for recommending Cheryl’s Taxi - we so enjoyed their service! We did not rent a car - Taxi’s only to get around the island! It was a vacation we won’t forget!

Outstanding hosts with a beautiful home! Home was very well stocked. Lush fantastic and very well maintained landscaping! Neighborhood was safe. We went on morning and evening walks most days. Very very short walk to the beach where we were able to view evening sunsets. Hosts were very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. We would definitely recommend renting a car if feasible as it allows greater opportunity to explore many of the wonderful beaches!

We enjoyed our stay at Ray and Sonya's. The pictures and reviews gave us a good idea of what to expect and we were not disappointed. We rented a car which we found was convenient for getting groceries and exploring. Driving on the "wrong side" of the road became easy after a couple days. We found a great food store on the West side of the island, Solomon's Fresh Market, and it was worth the drive. Overall we are happy with our stay here.

We were a family of 6 adults and one infant under 2 years old. Our stay at Sonja and Raymond's house was great. After reading the other guests' reviews I can confirm that they are indeed great hosts. They both went out of their ways to accommodate us. The house was more than spacious; everybody found their favourite spots, be it at the pool or in one of the living rooms. The house is very secure and we always felt safe. Thank you Sonja and Raymond for making our family vacation one to remember forever. Denis V.

The house was just as photographs show, plenty of room for 5 adults. Location was great for us, not far from downtown and 5 min walk to beach. Raymond and Sonja were great, they arranged taxis to and from the airport for us and Sonja was there to greet us when we arrived and when we departed.

The property was very spacious, well equipped and exactly as described on the website. Ray & Sonja are excellent hosts, being willing to go the extra yards and always available. The pool was a good size and regularly serviced. The location is good with the local beach (Saunders Beach) being an easy 5 minute stroll away. If you don't have a car, the local bus service will take you into Nassau or Cable Beach for $1.25 pp. Sonja put us onto Cheryls Taxis for our airport pickup and I would have no hesitation is endorsing their recommendation. ($51 each way) For grocery deliveries we used InstaGopher. Thy offered a reliable time specific service but I would just add, as with all things on The Bahamas, they are not cheap. A very enjoyable holiday.

The house, the pool and the property were everything we hoped for and more. Beautiful house with a well maintained yard and pool. The pictures were an accurate portrayal of the house; we were so happy with our decision to rent this property for our vacation. Sonja, Ray and Juanita were all fabulous hosts. We had a wonderful stay, and Sonia was a terrific host. The house is in a residential neighborhood, just a minute away from Saunders Beach. Goodman's Bay is a 20-minute walk in one direction, and the Fish Fry about the same in the other. The house was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely garden. The pool was terrific! We rented a car, and found getting around the island very easy. But you can also take the buses up and down Bay Street during the day.

The house is listed as 3 bedrooms but there is also an extra, smaller room with a bed (I think it was a double or queen I can’t recall now) and a crib that could easily accommodate 2 kids. There is everything you could possibly need in the house including beach towels, beach chairs, extra linens and tons of bath towels. Kitchen has plenty of cooking utensils. The pool is wonderful and we used it daily. The house is immaculate and the yard is gorgeous with lots of palm trees and very lush plantings. We also felt super safe with locked gates plenty of outside lights and a security alarm. It is a 2-3 min walk to Saunders beach. I would definitely recommend renting a car to go to grocery store and downtown Nassau for shops. It’s about a 15 min drive to paradise island and cabbage beach. 15 min from airport. Sonja and Juanita are wonderful and super helpful with anything you need and where to go in the area. I would highly recommend this house. We will definitely be back!

A very good location for ease of access to the Baha Mar and to downtown with a short walk to Saunders beach. The house and pool were very clean. Just as important is location. The property is located midway between downtown Nassau and Paradise Island and the western half which is more residential. Rent a car and explore the whole island easily! It's very safe...almost too safe (it was formally used by the U.S. embassy so there are a lot of advanced security features. A lovely quiet public beach is across the street. The owners are super helpful and responsive and very kind without being obtrusive. In short, this is the ultimate property (especially during Covid) if you want all the benefits of a high end hotel without the crowds and traffic, and the ability to actually experience the whole island beyond generic tourist centers. Make sure to book a charter to the other islands. It was a highlight for us to go snorkeling and enjoy the other beaches; the whole area is so gorgeous and the people are lovely. Go go go!

Overall the house was great, and the Gibsons were responsive and accommodating.

We had a great time staying here. It was nice to have our own pool and be able to walk to a beach. It was a great location close to everything we wanted. Smooth process getting into house and checking out.
