Beautiful Brand New 2500 sq ft Beach House Steps from Gulf/Spectacular Views
Di recente costruzione nella primavera del 2018 con tutti gli elettrodomestici nuovi e di prima qualità inclusi. Grande open space in soggiorno e cucina. Grande avvolgente ponte con 2 tavoli da picnic in stile bar insieme a 4 divani da esterni in vimini Ashley per 8 posti. Sei sedie singole imbottite disponibili per sedersi sul grande ponte avvolgente. La casa ha porte francesi aperte in entrambe le camere da letto matrimoniali e aree soggiorno per un facile accesso e fuori. La cucina include un'uscita / ingresso sul retro con il ponte e una grande scalinata per la comodità e la facilità di spesa. Casa comprende una lavanderia con grandi lavatrici e asciugatrici. Due suite matrimoniali, 2 camere con letto matrimoniale e una camera con letto a castello per sei persone. 3 bagni; uno include doccia vasca, gli altri due sono docce personalizzate con piani in granito. Griglia Weber completamente in acciaio inox a 3 bruciatori completamente nuova. Propano non incluso.

House is in a great locations close to the beach. Large open kitchen/living room. Plenty of beds to sleep several families. Owner is quick to respond. Pics online must be old. Bar stools are different than pictures and most of the bedding is different and seems dated. Most of the towels are old and ragged. But it was a good price and met our needs for the long weekend. We did have to go to store for paper towels, shampoo, and soap as none was provided. Only 1 toilet paper roll per bathroom but owner notified us of this beforehand so we brought extra.

Starting from the arrival we had issues with our rental. I’ll start with the positive feedback. Great location and ample parking.Cleanliness was an issue from the beginning. Floors were not cleaned.The owner did insta-cart a mop and bucket since there was not one at the house and we cleaned the floors ourselves.There was so much garbage left under the couch and under the beds we could fill a small garage bag.The air conditioner filters had dust hanging from them and we replaced them ourselves for the owner.There is an old fridge on the deck.The sliding barn door to one bedroom is not attached,so if you attempt to close it, it falls off.We found underwear and a feminine hygiene product under a bed as well.Stove top is cracked and burner not working.Microwave handle was missing and completely stopped working two days in. Owner insta-carted new microwave and we installed it for him.The couch is broken and many of the counter bar stools are broken.Unfortunately we did not notice the mattress until we stripped the beds before leaving.Every mattress is stained and in need of replacement.Siding is falling off and electrical fixtures outside are dangling.There were safety issues we discussed with the homeowner as well.The bunk beds were held together with duct tape. Hand rails around the deck are unstable.Amenities were misrepresented from posting, no hot tub,gas grill or dining area.After lengthy discussions with Vrbo and owner, we received compensation for our inconvenience.

The master bed frame was broke in the middle. My husband is 200lbs so that did not go over well. There was a hole in the floor of one of the bathrooms with black mold. Water damage to all the walls from crown molding down. Especially in the master bedroom. The cold water valve at bathroom sink did not work. Only had burning hot water at sink. The cabinet under the kitchen sink was completely broke off the hinge. All the sheets smelled like a dog had slept in them, although no sign of dog hair. Good location on the house, but no good views other than one tiny corner, unless you enjoy staring at your neighbors front door. There is plenty of room and space for the entire family which was a plus but not exactly what we were expecting from the description. The manager was nice enough to call and let us know about the hole in the bathroom and suggested we did not use that bathroom. We appreciated that.

Overall it’s a large property that was comfortable for our family. Loved the wrap around deck. The location was fantastic as it was just a few steps from the beach and located more to the center of the island.. The house had some minor issues that needed attention. Some flooring is loose, doors that stick, the dryer door wouldn’t stay closed while in use and there were ants in one of the bathrooms. A few changes have been made to the house since photos were taken as what appears to be a dinning room is now the bunk room. Overall we enjoyed our time in the property and on the island!

We had a great time at this property! Loved the beach , not so overrun with other vacationers. The only thing is , we wished it had a common bathroom, you have to go thru a bedroom to use one, but it would not keep us from comming back to this house.

It’s advertised to sleep 22; one room has two sets of bunk beds and enough space to walk between the wall & bed. No table to seat everyone for meals, do puzzles, play board games, etc. Kitchen is poorly appointed; non-stick pans scratched on bottom and not 22 place settings. The sectional was awful.

Family vacation
House is in a great location and 4 rating because we had such a good time despite the expectations created on the website. Housekeepers did not clean well (i.e. dirty diaper under bunks), but surfaces were clean. Kitchen and baths def not sufficiently furnished for 22 people.
Owner replaced some living room furniture in the middle of our visit, so the seating was much better the last 2 nights. Property definitely not "brand new" and not suitable for 22 people as advertised. While it's true there are enough beds, 2 queen bunks are in an alcove without room to walk around (literally) or store anything. Zero way 8 people could/would sleep there. The owner's response was "technically accurate" but there should only be one queen bunk in there!! The kitchen table and chairs are NOT in the alcove as pictured on the website. So there is indoor meal seating for only 12 folks.
The house would be GREAT for a group of 8-10 adults and a few kids; suggest re-rating what it's capacity is to avoid the issues we experienced. Also suggest correcting the photos and the house description to reflect what currently exists. To confirm, I had checked with owner in advance to be sure it would work and provided accurate information about the size and age make-up of our group..

Not up to par
My family had a great time on vacation. It has a really nice location to the beach. However, The property had some issues. The owner stayed in contact and was very apologetic. The beds were really nasty but comfortable. There was a rotten pizza left in a drawer on the bar. The ac drain stopped up and dripped through the ceiling on my grand daughter. Then the day before we left my daughter found a pill and after googling found it to be an oxy. My grand baby could have easily picked it up. A few door knobs were ready to fall off. The porch railing was really loose and is a liability issue as well as some broken with nails sticking up. I believe the owner is getting ripped off with the cleaning crew. The house itself could be a really nice place. The living room suit was nasty and broken.

Impressive house. Unimpressive maintenance
Location was ideal. Views were surreal. Dauphin island will be a new regular destination for our family, however, we may choose to stay at another property. The house was lovely but it seems the cleaners were in quite a hurry to get themselves out and get us checked in. The beds were unkempt and sheets seemed unwashed, the silty floors and rugs seemed unattended to perhaps because the vacuum was damaged and not in working condition. There was a broom, just no dustpan to accompany it. Lightbulbs out, no working batteries in remotes, clogged guest bathroom sink, and sticky-rusted doorknobs made for slight inconveniences, but the broken picket on the porch and a board pulling up with screws on it seemed slightly more important when vacationing with small children. All in all, our stay was pleasant and the homeowner seemed compliant and involved, but I think he may just need new cleaners and a thorough walk-through to keep the property in great shape.

Beach was great
Beach was great. Location was fine. House needed some work. We cleaned when we got there including sheets. I think the owners are getting ripped off. Not sure it was touched before we got there. And naturally there is a cleaning fee so...There was a significant water leak in one of the bathrooms which the owner was aware of as well. They could also use an exterminator. All in all, for the price it was disappointing. 😕

Our stay at the Beach House
Our stay at the Beach House was an enjoyable one. I loved drinking my coffee in the morning on the wrap around deck with the view of the Gulf and the wonderful breeze. Just a short treck to the beach. Our eight grandchildren head a blast.

Everything in the description was right, it looked even better when we went. We were all adults and we had enough room for everyone to sleep. It was easy to go to the beach. Absolutely loved the beach view in two of the bedrooms. Love the deck it went around the whole building.

Perfect location
We had a wonderful time at the beach! The location made it super easy to get to our beach spot (which is important with kids and all their things!). Even though it’s 4 houses in, it felt like beach-front. We enjoyed coffee on the porch with a perfect, full view of the water. Owner was especially helpful and communicative the week leading up to our trip (we had a lot of fears about a hurricane in the gulf). I’m so glad he gave us some good facts. We would have missed out if we had bailed— the weather was great! We had kids in both bunk rooms— none complained. The adult rooms were great. The kitchen had what we needed (we always bring paper plates— no one wants to do dishes on vacay!). All in all we all agreed it was a great respite and we would rent this house again!

Family First!
1st time I have used VRBO. VRBO experience - kept communicating using incorrect email even though my preferred email was listed. RENTAL- needed large space, wanted clean space due to Covid concerns. Check in went smoothly. Cleanliness poor! Beer cans under bed, sand in tubs, dirt/grime in bathrooms and on kitchen countertops, bedspreads in 2 rooms had dog urine stains so took them off immediately. Master clean, room with barn door needs to open more, couches filthy. Beds comfortable. Stovetop cracked but able to cook. Few "starter" towels literally found as if thrown in bathroom cabinet, no towels in 2 bathrooms. Dryer took 3 cycles to dry. TV didn't work in 2 rooms. Outside furniture nice., 2 couch areas. Outside hose available to rinse sand off. Have to bring butane if grilling. LOCATION: very close to beach, plenty of parking. Not a location to pick if disabled - 25 steep stairs to get up to house. TRAVEL INSURANCE: a must.. hurricane came during our stay- we left the morning the weather shifted toward the Gulf. Insurance reimbursed for time missed on reservation. OVERALL: with some further attention to cleaning service and linens, this rental would have been more enjoyable.

good, but could have been better
It is a very nice house, very clean. It would have been nice if there was a hall bath. The family members in the front bunk room had to go through someone else's bedroom to use the bathroom. Also the barn door on the front bunk room kept falling off when it was opened too far. I don't know if it was installed wrong or what but it was very dangerous for the little ones in our family. Needs to be fixed asap. Also, needs more seating in living room, maybe a love seat in the corner where you have a small table. Overall a good experience.

House is not equipped for amount of people it can sleep
House was nice and location was great. House is listed that it can sleep 22 people- which is true. However, there were not enough towels, toilet paper, paper towels, or soap to accommodate that many people. Our trip ended up being just 9 people so we made it okay, but in the future would bring ALL of our own supplies. Also, kitchen was not very stocked with pans, dishes, etc. I can't imagine what it would have been like if we would have had more people in the house.
Pictures don't quite depict the reality, as there is one room that is solely bunkbeds and barely any room to even walk. Would be good for kids space, but don't expect adults to stay comfortably in there.
Otherwise, house and beach were nice.
