A proposito di questa casa vacanza
Mountaintop Cabin-secluded but close to everything!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. We unwound on the deck , watching the amazing sunsets, soaked in the hot tub for HOURS , slept in and connected as a family. As Chistians, we felt our hearts drawn closer to God as we rested and refilled our souls at this lovely cabin on the hill.

Just as described, it is isolated yet convenient to town. The views from every room and the wrap around porch were magnificent. Can't wait to return.

This was a beautiful property with INCREDIBLE views. Also a pretty short drive to both Granby and Winter park. The place was very clean and the host is responsive. I would stay here again!

We spent a week visiting RMNP using the cabin as our home base. It gave us a great place to come home to with beautiful views and everything we needed to fix wonderful home cooked breakfasts and dinners. It has a beautiful fireplace but it was too warm this week for us to use it. If I ever get to come out here again, I will stay here again.

Title says it all! I wanted a mountain view, and isolated but not too isolated. If that's what you are looking for, stay here! You can't go wrong.

the property is exactly as described and exactly what you see in pictures. the host and the owner are awesome and there with any questions or needs. the place is beautifully secluded on top of the hill and at the very end of the road so you are literally all by yourself but not far from the highway. it is an awesome place.

Secluded property is easy to get to. I was a little bit concerned getting to the cabin based on reading other reviews, but I’m happy to say we had no issues and it was not as difficult as I thought it would be. The cabin is cozy and views are fabulous. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful and spacious cabin with amazing views. It was very clean with lots of amenities. About 10 minutes to Granby and 15 minutes to Fraser for restaurants and groceries. I would definitely come back!

Four of us and our four legged kids spent a wonderful week at this cabin. If you’re looking for seclusion, this is the place for you. The cabin was peaceful and by itself, yet 10 minutes from dinner out or the grocery store. The inside of the cabin was very clean and very well stocked, there wasn’t anything we needed that they didn’t provide. The new hot tub was a great addition. We would stay here again if our travels ever bring us back to Granby Co.

I can’t say enough great things about this home! The views were stunning, location was great and it was so comfortable for our family. The amenities a large kitchen, fireplace, and new hot tub really made it hard to leave to do our planned activities. Hope to come back again!

The house and location were wonderful! We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the large deck! There were several free hiking trails within a short drive away. Short drive to grocery store, breweries and shops.

Such a beautiful home. We didn't want to leave! Great location for exploring Rockly Mountain National Park and surrounding areas. We had two mule deer who visited us at the house! Communication was great during booking and while at the property. We are already talking about coming back! (We miss the porch the most!)
Thank you for everything!

The stay was absolutely perfect. My kids are all grown and sometimes very hard to get us all together. This was a perfect place for us all to relax and enjoy! We spent a morning hiking in the national park, a few days shopping and the rest fishing and off roaring through some pretty cool trails! Everything was a bit of a drive but I think this was the perfect middle! The cabin was everything and more! We will definitely try to come back here!

If you're planning on vacationing in the Colorado Rockies, you can't do much better than this cabin. A pretty secluded area with amazing mountain views. Just wait until you see the sunsets! We loved sitting out on the deck soaking up the rays and breathing the mountain air. Our Old English Sheepdog especially loved napping out there! The cabin itself was beautiful. Very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The only problem you'll have is that you will not want to leave! There were plenty of great restaurants and coffee shops just 15 minutes away. Great hiking trails close by (we recommend Doe Creek Trail and Monarch Lake Trail). I will admit that the final tight turn on the dirt road leading to the cabin had me white knuckling the steering wheel (I drive a Ford Super Duty F250), but I quickly got used to it, and it wasn't a problem. Do yourself a favor and book this cabin if you're visiting Colorado. You will not regret it!!

This house is a beautiful, well kept cabin with amazing views! We enjoyed the beautiful mountain views and comfortable furnishings and long walks with the dogs. The house had everything we needed and provided easy access to everything — RMNP, plenty of hiking trails, restaurants, grocery store, and breweries in Granby and Fraser and more. We can’t wait to visit again!

First, the view from the house was beautiful. We were lucky enough to see a moose on the road to the house. That was a highlight of our vacation. There was a lot of dog hair, which we knew was a possibility. It is listed as pet friendly, but there was more than we expected. There were two devices in the living space that looked like cameras. There was a visible lens on the devices that were turned towards the wall, we did cover them for privacy. We did feel like our conversation could be listened to. We also received a text at 9:30 pm advising that the following morning, there would be some maintenance done on the heating system at 8:30 am. That late of a notice caused a bit of hiccup in our plans. Other than those items, the home was as described and was beautiful for our Colorado trip!

We are an avid vrbo couple and we think this is hands down the best place you could stay in. Great for any combination of family- young, old, boring, or active/ this place has you covered. Thank you so much for sharing your treasured home❤️

The house is beautiful. I’m sure it is really gorgeous in the warmer months. The driveway was pretty slick and difficult at times. This is not the original house we had chosen. There was a problem with the house we chose. We greatly appreciate all that was done to help us continue with our vacation.

Secluded, spacious. Gorgeous views all around the house. Huge windows in the living room. Kitchen appliances, linens, etc. are plenty of. All clean and tidy.
Note: during winter, park your car up the hill as driving up the hill may come challenging even for a 4x4 car (ex. Jeep Wrangler). There are several shovels though, in case you like a challenge.

My family stayed at this property this past August and loved every minute of our stay here. The house is spacious and beautiful, with plenty of amenities to make our stay comfortable. There were five of us on our trip, but the house could have comfortably fit many more. The mountain views from the west windows in the main living area is spectacular, as are the views all around from the great deck. A highlight of the property is the extensive land around the house... perfect for exploring and wildlife viewing. And while you feel secluded and away from it all on the property itself, it is conveniently located to Granby, RMNP, Winter Park and other nearby attractions. We felt like we were able to access a lot of the summer season activities from this location very easily. All in all, definitely a property we would consider staying at again in the future.

The house was in a very secluded location at the end of the road in the mountains. An excellent place to get away from everything.
The kitchen had everything that you need. I saw other reviews that said it was lacking in cutting boards and bowls, but we found that it had absolutely everything that you need and we cooked all of our meals there.
The house was a bit dark, but this was primarily because many light bulbs were burned out. I think we changed 6 of them during our stay but half of the bulbs on the vaulted ceiling were out and it was too high to be able to change. Would be nice if these things were taken care of by the property manager before arrival. Also the only trash bin outside had not been emptied prior to our arrival so there wasn't anyplace for trash.
The house is close enough to be able to go hiking at quite a lot of wonderful places. We did a trip around Monarch lake and saw two moose on the journey. I ride my bike and rode from the house to the top of Berthoud pass and back one day. Another day I rode into Rocky Mountain national forest.

Beautiful, warm, cozy and well-taken-care of log cabin perched on a ridge overlooking a valley between Granby and Winter Park. Gorgeous views of the sunset. Unfortunately, the Colorado fires made the air hazy and acrid. But we did get in some hiking in the area before the air got too polluted.

We had a great time at this lovely home. We went boating all week at Lake Granby and hung out at night on the great patio overlooking the sun set. The picture do not do this place justice. I would highly recommend staying here and would live to come back!

The pictures of this property cannot do it justice. This cabin is absolutely picturesque, and it offers the perfect environment to sit back and relax. It gave us everything we needed, and was just close enough to Granby and Tabbernash to make it easy to get somewhere to adventure during the day, and come back to a secluded cabin at night. Would absolutely come back -- we're looking forward to it! 10/10 recommend -- this place is awesome.

This mountain home is beautiful. Views are stunning, and accommodations are great.

My favorite aspect of this house are the multiple beautiful large windows in the family room that give a vista of close by mountains. It's so easy to sit and just be enraptured by the view. This is a new house with lots of lovely wood work and a large master bath. I also appreciated how the house has plenty of seating for multiple guests.
Suggestions- A laminated paper at the house detailing wifi, what to do with trash (need to take excess trash to town), etc, would be appreciated. Caretakers do respond fairly quickly to questions, but are brief in answers to you online. They run an oxygen business- look at your detailed owner's fees and note the $300 payment for provided oxygen to use if feeling altitude sickness.
This house does NOT have a/c, even though part of vrbo listing says it does. Once you open up windows and outside doors, you are usually cool enough in summer.
Master bedroom is dark-I had to get a reading lamp from upstairs. Soaking tub is TINY- I'm 5'4, 128lbs and literally could barely move in it. Frig didn't make ice. No bowls or cutting board at house- small things just fyi. House did generously provide soap, shampoo, blow dryer and even makeup wipes.
One surprise we had is that even though house sits up on 36 acres of land, the highway is about a mile away and can be seen from the right view of the house. Some road noise can be heard outside.
Activity suggestions- Monarch Lake- easy hiking and saw moose every visit; Adams Falls in Grand Lake has beautiful meadows and falls for longer hike. Mount Ida in Rocky Mountain National Park was a STRENUOUS killer hike with killer views and elk and marmot that came within yards of us.
Mustachios is a fun eating establishment with friendly owners and beautiful lake view. Grand Lake Lodge is great place for drinks outside overlooking lakes. :)
