The house is amazing, feels like someone is living there :-) It has everything you need - and I mean Everything! Superb location, close to the seaside but also to other small villages and gorges around that are worth visiting. Perfect spot if you want to explore South-East Crete. The village is magical, with tiny streets, it is nice to get lost for a little, such a quiet and cute place to be. The taverna in the village is open, very friendly and welcoming and helpful people all together and the food is very yummy. We enjoyed our stay and hope to go back soon!

Just like it says. Home in quaint little village. Very old town with only a tavern. Take your own supplies. Fully set up kitchen .l

The house needs some serious cleaning after previous guests. I understand it's a village house but dust all over the place is not really adding any value.

the location was in a treditional village. half of it is deserted, it did not bother, was very nice to photograph. the Taverna was very good and friendly.

I did not see the host. or anyone in his name. downstairs in the living room kitchen was no aircondition as mentioned in the site. just two toilets, one very small. and not 2 showers. as mentioned.

Perfect for me, a village steeped in history, plus lots of cool mountain breezes, a bonus in July! Traditional Greek house, you become part of the village for a while. Most important they welcomed my little dog. I won’t stay anywhere that won’t allow her, so 100% top rating to Pericles.

This is by no way a complaint or criticism, but.. The tiles are very slippery when wet and there is no handrail on the stairs If some one comes out of the bathroom with wet feet and go downstairs they could slip. For the sake of a handrail it’s not worth the risk. Better for owner and guests to be safe

Unspoiled village with no cars in the alleys. A perfectly peaceful and most relaxing taverna square, exceptional even in Greek standards! Keys were picked up from the Taverna, which has great food and huge portions. The village is a perfect center for hikings on the mountain roads. The apartment is peaceful, open views, lot of space, fully equipped kitchen. One of the best value for money anywhere!

In April it was rather cold in the first floor of the apartment.
