Beautiful Converted Barn - close to Newgale Beach & Pembrokeshire Coast
Recentemente rinnovato secondo uno standard molto elevato, Meadow Barn offre alloggi per vacanze in famiglia spaziosi. Convenientemente situato nel villaggio di Roch, il cottage è uno dei tre, situato attorno a un cortile di ghiaia adiacente alla proprietà dei proprietari. Il cottage beneficia di un parcheggio fuori strada per due auto e un giardino privato con barbecue e panca da picnic. La spiaggia di Newgale è a solo un miglio e mezzo di distanza e siamo anche in una posizione ideale per esplorare lo scenario costiero che il Pembrokeshire ha da offrire.
All'interno del cottage c'è un ampio soggiorno / sala da pranzo a pianta aperta con soffitto a volta e porte finestre in un ampio giardino d'inverno. La camera matrimoniale principale si trova al piano terra e beneficia anche di porte finestre sul giardino e di un bagno privato. C'è un piccolo gradino tra il soggiorno principale e le altre stanze al piano di sotto. Al piano superiore c'è un bagno con vasca e doccia elettrica e una camera doppia adatta per adulti o bambini.
Questa casa per le vacanze è molto attraente all'interno, conservando molte delle sue caratteristiche originali, tra cui muri in pietra a vista, travi originali e archi in mattoni. Allo stesso tempo beneficia anche di comfort moderni come doppi vetri e riscaldamento centralizzato a gasolio.
Meadow Barn è generosamente attrezzato con tutto il necessario per rendere il vostro soggiorno confortevole, tra cui lavastoviglie, frigorifero / congelatore e lavatrice / asciugatrice, nonché TV FreeSat. Investiamo in materassi di buona qualità per rendere i letti il più confortevoli possibile e utilizzare lenzuola di puro cotone di qualità alberghiera, oltre a fornire coperte di lana aggiuntive per ogni letto. Il cottage è riscaldato con riscaldamento centralizzato a gasolio (incluso) e ha anche un fuoco elettrico nella stanza principale. In combinazione con un buon isolamento (e spessi muri in pietra) la nostra esperienza è che il cottage è confortevole e accogliente anche nel cuore dell'inverno. Stunning!
A comfortable blend of ancient and contemporary accomodation, full facilities, outdoor and in. Newgale beach blissful - in whatever weather, although we were lucky with the sun.

A very comfortable, well equipped and spacious property ideally placed for visiting the Pembrokeshire coast. The conservatory and sunny garden are very welcome features. Situated close to many superb beaches and an excellent choice of places to eat and drink this has been a very memorable holiday.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Paul and Juliet converted this barn into a top class holiday home. Close to beaches and everything what Pembrokeshire is famous for. Go for the puffins on Skomer Island (between April and August).

Plenty of space for a family of 4.
The property was perfect, we didn’t want or need anything.
The welcome pack was excellent and the information book covered lots of information.
There was a lovely touch when we arrived with homemade cakes, including Welsh cakes.

Lovely short break at Meadow Barn! We were kindly left traditional welsh treats on arrival. The barn was perfect. Lovely walks especially from St Davids back along the coast path. Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived at the property on Boxing day as a family of 3 (inc a teenager). The host had been in touch a good few weeks before our arrival with lots of information, including location, local amenities and things to do in the area. Being Christmas they even asked if we'd like a Christmas tree, which we accepted and it looked great! The property was superbly clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped and we were supplied with a number of essentials including tea, milk, cleaning products, dishwasher and washing machine tabs to name a few. Paul and Juliet were even so kind as to supply some slices of Christmas cake and Mince pies.
For us, the location was superb, a short 15 minute drive to Haverfordwest for grocery shopping, 20 minutes to the fantastic St Davids, 2 minutes to Newgale Beach, 40 minutes to Tenby. The village is small and quiet, perfect for a short evening walk up to the Castle (now a hotel).
Despite the rural location, the wifi worked really for the duration of our stay.
We were sorry to leave in the end as the property felt like a real home from home and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family and friends looking stay in Pembrokeshire. A real 5* property.

We stayed for 4 nights and were incredibly impressed.
We travel around the country a lot and have stayed in numerous places but this definitely ranks at the top of the list. (And it wasn't just the complimentary and very delicious cake on arrival!)
It was extremely spacious and comfortable. A very reasonable price (although it was November) and it is extremely well-equipped - everything you could possibly need except a food processor.
We would not hesitate to stay there again.

We spent 1 week at Meadow Barn in Roch and had a great time there. The premises are cozy and offer enough space for a family. The kitchen is well equipped with everything for daily live. Roch itself doesn`t offer much for sightseeing but the magnificent coastline is only 3 minutes by car. The owners of the property are very kind and just around the corner if anything has to be clarified.

We had the most wonderful stay at Meadow barn, we had so looked forward to it and it was everything we dreamt of and more. The area is stunning and the barn beautiful and homely. Paul and Juliet are the loveliest people, so kind and helpful and a joy to be around. The space was perfect for us, our baby and dog, the only thing that could have improved it is if we could let our dog off the lead but we knew this was the case when we booked and just decided to make do. We can't wait to come back again soon and already planning another trip back next year. Thank you so much!

This is a charming cottage; well furnished, well-equipped and spacious for a family of 4. The garden is lovely, there is enough space to park the car. Wifi is good. We had good contact with the owners who also provide tenants with ample information about the cottage and its surroundings. The location is great, close to the coast and plenty of sights in Pembrokeshire. We really recommend this place and would certainly stay again.

Property was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Although the village of Roach has little to offer, the cottage was ideally situated for local beaches, the Pembroke Coastal Path and St Davids, all a short drive away.

Perfect for what we needed. We took our young dog on her first holiday and decided to take my parents who are in their 80's as there were two bedrooms. Very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and a handy conservatory to dry off in after a soaking wet dog walk - or to sit in on a spring morning and look at the pretty garden. There was a huge field over the road for our spaniel to let off steam in with a pond and a view of the beach in the distance. The only thing for us was crossing the main road to the field as our dog is terrified of traffic. However, we didn't have to walk far and it was handy for the coast and the Rising Sun pub which we ate in a couple times. It was a 10 minute drive and served delicious food. The owners were very helpful and on hand nearby if needed. Sadly, it was a very wet week, but we went prepared and it was a nice place in which to have a comfortable rest. We would certainly visit again!

It was extremely comfortable and cosy, sofas and bed very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped.
The Welsh cakes and bara brith were lovely unexpected treats upon arrival.
The location was beautifully quiet, and well placed to explore Pembrokeshire. The owners were close by if they were needed, but not in any way intrusive.
I would highly recommend the property for anyone wanting to relax to recharge the batteries.

The cottage was beautiful. Very clean and had everything you needed. The welcome plate of cakes were a lovely touch. The hosts came and introduced themselves when we arrived. We had 2 dogs with us and the only downside was that the back garden wasn't secure to let our dogs out without being on a lead. There were gaps in the hedge and the gate didn't close. But we had a wonderful stay and would recommend it.

Cottage has lots of character, and in a great location for exploring the coastal path and nearby beach, against a high standard the beds could be a little more comfortable, but overall a great place to stay.

Lovely Break.
No problems at all from start to finish. Property exactly as described and very easy to find. Very comfortable and well appointed property. Very well situated for St David's, Solva and the supermarkets of Haverfordwest. Local shop opposite and excellent pub in the village with good food and its own micro brewery. Thanks for a lovely stay.
