The villa is perched above a world class ocean view with beautiful ocean colors and snorkel from shore opportunities. Owners Robin and Mike were very attentive and assisted with our transportations and were very friendly. I will definitely stay in these villas if they are available next time I go to Long Island.

Robin was an excellent host. She was very fast to respond to all our questions both before and during our stay. We were there to celebrate a family member's birthday and Robin even put us in touch with this fabulous bakery on the island. The views from the apartments are stunning. Everything is clean and very well kept. There was a full size coffee maker that we really enjoyed, and the rest of the kitchen was very well stocked with all the tools you would need to prepare a delicious meal. We really enjoyed spending time in the tiki hut that has wonderful lounge chairs with unparalleled views of the ocean. If you stay here, you owe to yourself to get up more than once and watch the sun rise over the clear Atlantic ocean. It was one of my favorite parts of our stay. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. I'm already trying to line up our schedule with another availability on this wonderful property. Thank you again Robin!

I was really impressed with the property. The photos don't do justice to just how great of a stay this was. There's a small island just in front of the property that give you amazing sunrise and sunset views, and a really fun swim when the tide is low and the seas aren't too rough. Located at around the midpoint of Long Island, my friends and I were able to travel to the north and southern tip of the island, and had a great time. Highly recommend.

Robin and Mike's place is just as the pictures make it seem. You will see more shades of blue and green than you've got names for. The property is mid-point in the 80-mile-long island, an hour from the northernmost points and about 45 minutes to the southernmost. The use of a free car to explore as you like is a great bonus, and makes this perhaps the best deal on the island, since rental prices for cars on Long Island average about $60/day, and you need a car to get anywhere. Though the names of towns/villages appear on the map, there are really no towns or villages to speak of on the island. No concentration of shops/homes/restaurants--everything is quite spread out. From this property you'll need to drive 15-20 minutes to the nearest beach--the coral at the bottom of the property is sharp and does not make for a great walk, and definitely does not qualify as a beach. There is not much to do on the island, other than go to a different beach each day, try out a few restaurants, fish if you like, and relax. The beaches are gorgeous. Mike and Robin have beach chairs and snorkel gear, but they might be in short supply if you're there when all four units are occupied. Mike and Robin are very responsive. Robin replies to emails immediately. Even though they live in the three building complex, you'll rarely see them unless you need something. We stayed for the month of January. The weather was perfect for us--high each day in the upper 70s, water quite swimmable and refreshing, not warm as bath water. The no-see-ums arrive each day at sunset on the Caribbean side, so bring some insect repellent. They are ferocious. No bugs on the Atlantic side, which is where Robin and Mike's place is. Best places to eat: Lloyd's, Chez Pierre, Tiny's, Rowdy Boys for Friday night pig roast, and the best fish tacos on the planet at the Flying Fish at the marina, which also has the most amazing views of the Atlantic.

Sent my daughter and new son in law there for their honeymoon. The place was gorgeous, outstanding views,they couldn't have been happier. Mike and Robin were outstanding treated them like family. Good fishing, snorkeling, and great food. Everyone on the island was friendly. Honestly they didn't want to come home. First, they left a car for us at the airport which was very convenient. Second, when as we pulled up the property and the ocean came into view it took our breath away. Third, the facility and grounds keeping is clean, well-designed, open and lots of other wonderful adjectives. By far my favorite place I have ever stayed. The photos do not do it justice. I want to design my shower after this place. The Atlantic view point is windy, and the design of the building takes that potentially neutral/negative aspect and channels it into an amazing perk - meaning the front sliding door can be left wide open or just a crack to let the fresh breeze come in through the living space and through the bedroom at night to keep the air moving and fresh and cool, and also ventilating the bathroom on its way out the back of the building. There were no bugs or any other pests at all but if there had been, the screened porch would do a great job keeping them out. You can watch the sunrise from the building, or from a lower covered platform near the beach, or from the rocks out 30ft into the water past the beach, it's very satisfying to watch the sun peek up over the ocean horizon. Those rocks also offer a really fun place to do some simple exploring and rock-climbing. The hosts are very friendly and responsive and do everything they can to make your stay just what you want it to be. They do have internet access, but it is not robust enough for streaming video. The do, however have TVs and dvd players and around 50-100 movies on site you can use. Hopefully, though, that's not what you come to the bahamas to do... There is a grocery store about 5-minutes down the road with a small sellection of fresh fruit and vegetables and a few isles of canned/packaged foods. The kitchen is well enough stocked to do most things you would want. A world's top 10 beach is just an hour drive north, and Dean's deep blue hole is a must see a few miles to the south with snorkle gear. The hosts had a few sets they were willing to lend out, which were invaluable since we didn't have our own and couldn't find a place that would rent them out. Hamilton's caves were pretty fun to explore also, though they are a bit hard to find even with help from the locals.

My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks at Bahama Dreamin villa and had the best time. The villa was very clean and the location is one of the best on Long Island.The villas have everything that you need and Robin was always available to help you if you needed anything. The views of the Atlantic ocean are amazing!! We both had so much fun on Long Island and Robin is an amazing host. I would highly recommend Bahama Dreamin to anybody looking for a place to rent on Long Island. (Just not the end of February 2016 as want to rent again next year!!)

The most important things to me were it was very clean and safe. Robin was right there at the airport to pick us up. We had three couples,used two villas and two vehicles.the guys went fishing,all day and the ladies went exploring. The large screened decks added room for storing the fishing and snorkel,gear,out of,the house.,good blender, ice machine., very quite location. We,loved,the grilled fish tacos at the outer gill in Clarence town. Also,the lobster salad at Santa Maria was,yummy. Excellent hogfish at max's conch bar. The ladies enjoyed the sat farmers market at salt pond. Many different beaches to explore. The local people were super friendly and helpful.

From the very second we arrived we arrived to the second we left Robin and Mike made this place feel like this was a home away from home. Robin has thought of everything to make a perfect vacation and is eager to get you anything you could need or have forgotten, including AWESOME baked goods or homemade sangria. The views are breath taking and a great pleasure to wake up and go to sleep to every night. Long island is AMAZING and has a great warm, welcoming feel to it. If you are considering the Bahamas or a vacation at all you MUST come see this hidden gem, you won't be disappointed!

I've stayed on Long Island several times and Bahama Dreamin is one of the best rental homes we have booked. Mike and Robin have thought of everything. The jeep they provide with the rental is perfect for exploring the island. If you can think of anything they haven't they are eager to add it to the rental. The view and snorkeling are among the best on the Island. Absolutely beautiful. If you are considering a visit to long island you can't go wrong with Bahama Dreamin.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and were blown away by the view. Right in front of your property is the most beautiful crystal clear water that forms almost a little lagoon for you to spend the day snorkeling and looking for sea glass. The home was immaculate and had everything we could possibly need, including AC which was huge for us! The home came with a car for the week which we used to explore the island from tip-to-tip, this proved to be the highlight of the trip. We found something beautiful and amazing down nearly every little dirt road we took. Overall, we had the best experience and can not wait to come back! Thank you for everything, Robin!

The views of the ocean from the second floor villa were outstanding! No other location on island can boast such views. Enjoyed relaxing on the screened in porch overlooking the ocean. The inside of the villa is brand new and has up to date furnishings and appliances along with all you need to cook and prepare a home made meal. The owners of the villa are super friendly and accommodating. They even left homemade bread as a special treat, along with a few other cool and thirst quenching treats in the fridge. Having a car that came with the rental was an added bonus. Would highly recommend this property to any and all.
