The cottage is well maintained, amazingly equipped and really cozy. It has two balconies with nice views. The location is also great - on a peaceful remote plain offering a beautiful picturesque scenery. From the plain run numerous trails to the heart of Triglav National Park. The owner is nice, communication is no problem. We loved the stay.

The location is both the biggest strength and weakness. To get there, you have to drive upwards from Stara Fužina, where there is an approximately 10km long steep gravel road, which can get quite tricky, as it is sometimes hole-spangled and narrow. It can, however, be made in a normal-height-riding car. The second option is to approach from Bled on an asphalt, although quite bendy and also steep, road, with just the final 4km being gravel. The road is something to keep in mind when planning as the ascent/descent from/to Stara Fužina can take up to an hour. The endeavor is, however, worthwhile, as it enables you to explore Triglav NP from an unrivalled location.

The hut itself was very basic, but had everything you needed. Kitchen was modern, but the bathroom was a bit outdated. We loved sitting on one of the two balconies and enjoying the view. Lots of hiking trials close to the hut.

To get to the hut was a drama. It was an 8km gravel road with lots of holes in it, it took us an hour to drive 8km. If you dont have an SUV/cross over/car that is high i would not recommend to book this accomdation. The accomodation also listed that it had private parking, but this is not the case. You have to park next to the public gravel road, cows are walking up and down this road several times a day. We ended up with dents and scratches on our car and when confronting the hosts with this, they did not even take the time to answer. It ended up being a very expensive stay.

Fantastic location far away from all the tourists in the valley. A great place for mountain hiking.

In the house you can find everything you need. A place where the house is located is silent and there is a wonderful view on mountains. The location is also good for those people who wants to get to Triglav in one day. The house looks like a country house, but it is cosy.
