This was a great stay for after a wedding. It has a great location that is just off the highway but also tucked back on the water.

I would not recommend this property. The sulphur smelling water made us not want to cook or shower. The bathroom and bedroom doors didn't latch, the bedrooms were small, the yard needed mowed and the porch needed sweep. Not worth the money.

This is a conveniently located property on a quiet river stretch. I would call the accommodations comfortable. It felt like a friend had allowed us to stay in a well-worn family cottage for the weekend. Served our purposes.

View of River was lovely and the home was comfortable and well appointed. Communication with owner was excellent. Only negative is that the lot next door has an abandoned house that is in disrepair, which is an eyesore.

Very homey, appreciated the abundance of cooking ware as well as bedding. Seems that the owners are used to a vast array of guests so they are prepared for whoever may be utilizing the rental. Definitely would visit again!

This house reminded me of staying at my 90 year old grandma’s house: Do you have to wash the dishes before you use them? YES Are the beds old and uncomfortable? YES Does the water smell like sulfur to the point that you avoid showering? YES Are there mice in the kitchen? YES Do you spend your time there apologizing to your family about the state of things and offer to get a hotel room instead? YES Location was good, close to a lot of amenities. Quiet road.

It was lovely for a short stay. Loved the equipped kitchen and morning views as well as accessibility to the highway. Great communication.

Easy drive anywhere in the Grand Rapids Metro area 15 min.Super clean nice beds all amenities, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms.Deck was a great place for morning coffee and watch the incredible sunrise reflect on the river.

The getaway delivered on what was described. This place was very warm and inviting. We were not able to take full advantage of the amenities outside, due to the weather. Would definitely return for full use.

Great proximity to downtown and did the purpose for a 1 night stay. When we arrived there was quite a bit of water on the one bedroom floor that we just had to put towels over. Also the water has a terrible sulfur smell. Besides that ita a cute house on the river within reasonable driving to downtown.

The property owners are very nice and communicate very good. The property itself is really nice with beautiful views of the river. The fire pit is nice especially with it being located by the water. The rooms were comfortable and we didn’t feel cramped in the house at all. I would recommend giving this property a shot especially if visiting Grand Rapids area.

This is a great cabin on the lake. The local ballpark had games and we got an amazing fireworks show on the lake!!

Clean and cozy but still enough room for all 6 of us. Grandsons loved fishing the river, just off the deck by the firepit. When asked what was the best part of the trip, it was unanimous- fishing in the river.

Driving up to the location was a bit odd, the properties on either side of this VRBO were a bit unkempt. No worries though, this property was pretty well maintained! Inside was quirky, but well stocked. Outdoors the concrete area by the river wasn’t quite ready for guests-fire pit hadn’t been cleaned out recently and the slab had a couple pieces of long wood debris that looked like that’s been fished out of the river ? Other quirky thing was there were multiple window units for AC as well as central AC so cooling was uneven in all the rooms, it was HOT this past weekend so we definitely noticed that. Plenty of sleeping room for everyone though so we stayed cool enough. Overall just needed a face lift and a bit more attention to detail. Nice location related to downtown GR and very beautiful mornings on the river.

Nice property on the river, comfortable and cosy. We went in summer, the A/C units were noisy but did its job. Deck on the river and river view was amazing, what was not so great was the crumbling house to one side and an RV parked on the previous property. Only issue we had was with the well water having strong iron and sulfurous smell, strong enough to invade the drawing room. Very nice owners, courteous and prompt in all response. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

My boyfriend and I both had a great stay in GR for a spur of the moment weekend trip! House is about a 10 min drive from downtown

The property was lovely, and well kept. We had a really nice time!

Pros: the view of the river, responsiveness of the host, proximity to GR, water cooler for drinking water Cons: the water has a really strong rotten eggs /sulfur smell so washing hands and showering was very unpleasant plus I wouldn't use the washing machine; too many bugs/spiders inside the house; the bed we slept in was very old and not comfortable

This was a really nice property close enough to the breweries in Grand Rapids and a fun space to chill in! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Location is very quiet and relaxing.
