The place was dirty (looks like it wasn't been clean for a while), no toilet paper or garbage bags available, you really need to take EVERYTHING with you, also the sheet covering the couch of the sofa was brown from the dirt, all the wardrobes are lock up so there is no place to store anything so you need to have you baggage around the place which already is pretty small.

We arrived to the apartment and had not received the entry instructions. When we got it was already night, and the house was completely freezing as the apartment electricity had been all disconnected until arrival and it was -3deg outside!! There was no hot water to take a shower on arrival and it took hours for it to heat up, again because the electricity is all disconnected whilst there’s no guests. There were no bed linen and only one very thin double duvet (with no cover) and another thin single duvet, so the first night we had to sleep with our thermals on and 2 additional layers of clothes, and even a scarf and hat as it was really cold! There were no towels, no toilet paper (or better said half a roll for the whole weekend) and no bin bags. The toilet bin had rests from the previous guests, with no bag. In conclusion, very poor standards. But the worst part was the very unwelcoming and unfriendly response from the host: when we contacted him on arrival to ask about where to find the bed linen, he told us off for “forgetting” to bring them claiming it was written in the apartment description – which is a lie. He also told us off for arriving at 22h when the apartment description clearly says check-in until 23h30 (and in fact it’s actually done via a box with a code!). The discussion continued on the app chat with generally a very unwelcoming, unfriendly and reprobating tone from the host from the very beginning, with no caring at all about the guests' stay experience but all the opposite. Very disappointing stay overall, and it was not even cheap!

Great location and good value for money.

There was no bed linen (sheets, duvet cover, pillow cases) or towels provided. This may have been written in the property description but as an English speaker with a small amount of French I missed it. Surely the host did not expect us to fly from the UK with sheets and pillow cases?
