Everything - it was directly across from the beach, staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean, big and beautiful, and terrace had a lovely view.

Our things was stolen from room. We decided for a peaceful solution, but stuff lied for damages. A lot of excuses to get time, when he stop working and disapear!!!!! So we didin’t have contact with you.

the level of the hotel is more 3 stars than 4 stars, location is very good, just couple meters from the beach, on the balcony of the room you are in the middle of holiday life. Special apprecitation for a ladies who making cleaning of the rooms (chambermaids), they are busy all day and they are kind and willing to help.

Even that ladies - chambermaids did their best and rooms was clean, other things which depends on the managment of the hotel was not clean enough, for example carpets in the hallway was dirty. Much worser was kitchen of the restaurant, was extremely dirty. Because we saw it by open side door, we was not able to enjoy breakfast, when we imagine the place food is prepared. Despite of this, breakfast was basic, with no real juices, just instant juices etc.

The location was perfect for beach access and restaurants. The included breakfast was limited, but suffice. Parking is limited but the staff take your car to store for the nights and return it whenever you need it.

Good staff, especially mades are very nice! The room was clean and comfortable, they have private parking and the location in right next to the beach.

Breakfast and I think it’s a little expensive for what it offers. Otherwise it’s nice, clean. I recommend.

The breakfast was poor and the food wasn’t so fresh, especially fruit In front of the hotel there is a public beach which is too crowded. People are lying down on their towels and you have to step on some of them if you want to get into the water. So there is no point for staying in hotel which is on the beach front when you have to go away from that crowd

The room was nice and well equipped. The staff was very competent and willing to help. Breakfasts were tasty and everybody could find something for themselves. The beach 🏖️ is just a few steps away. Overall very good stay!

Location is perfect, beach 10m, downtown 5 mins walk, plenty of different restaurants nearby.

Hotel: Had an apartment, very spacious and clean, everything was almost new and in very good state. Cleaning of the room was performed daily. Comfortable bed, two A/C units, one for each room (bedroom, living room with small kitchen area - open space). Bathroom was very clean, good shower. There was also a second, smaller, service-like bathroom. Restaurant: The food is very tasty, quality ingredients, we ate there every night; tried quite a few options from the menu, except for pizza (Tuna carpaccio, beef steak, mussels, black risotto, chicken with peanut sauce, grilled calamari, cevapci, everything was delicious). Service was impeccable and fast, read more in the next section. Staff: All staff members were very polite and helpful, always smiling and making sure everything is ok. But the one who stands out is Krešo. Besides his impeccable waiting skills, made very good recommendations on what to eat when I was unsure what to choose, suggested drinks, made excellent wine choices. Probably the best waiter I've ever encountered (overall). Also, a very friendly guy, he made our dinners even more enjoyable. It was great talking to him, finding more info about the area and secret places. What makes a trip even better is actually making contact with the local people, getting to know them, their culture, habits and so on. Maybe it will sound cheesy, but I think I've made a new friend :) Conclusions: Central Beach 9 is a very good choice for a stay in Makarska. Pricey or not, I can not say, as this was our first contact with Croatia. Considering the location, apartment space and cleanliness, staff, having a great restaurant on premises, it's surely worth the money, as price/quality ratio is a good one, from my point of view. Even if there are a lot of places to eat around, some of which we've tried for lunch, dinner always happened at Central Beach 9, as the food is really, really good. Plus, Krešo was there :) We will definitely return.

Maybe breakfast, although it is good, it's the same everyday; it was not a problem for us, as our stay was a short one, but it could prove to be a problem for a longer stay. Also, WiFi was not that good, signal dropped a few times and speed is definitely not the best. But we've used mobile data without issues.

Excellent location - just a few meters away from public beach, satisfying and diverse breakfast with a helpful and nice crew - information was given on any question regarding our daily trips - even on ferry timetables.

Our apartment has 2 bathrooms. The breakfast was great.
