Questo accogliente cottage sul lago è situato sul retro di un lotto boschivo di 49 km che offre una grande ombra e una vista stupenda sul lago in inverno! La cabina ha nuovi pavimenti in legno, grande calore centrale / aria, cucina completa, giochi da tavolo, grill a gas, pozzo del fuoco, amache di alberi, ecc. Godetevi l'ampia zona giorno che è circondata da finestre su tre lati e offre splendide viste sulla proprietà. Lo spazioso patio anteriore è a pochi passi dalla griglia, rilassandosi sulle amache degli alberi, uscendo dal pozzo del fuoco, ecc! Ci sono due edifici di stoccaggio sulla proprietà, uno dei quali è stato trasformato in una casa a castello. Il secondo è usato come una piccola lavanderia (grande lavatrice / asciugatrice anteriore). Un sacco di spazio per impostare una tenda o camper sulla proprietà (cavo di prolunga per l'alimentazione). Il quartiere ha il suo battello per la comunità con molo per le barche e una piccola spiaggia (ideale per bambini e adulti!), che è a soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla proprietà (o un paio di minuti in auto) e gratuito da usare. Abbiamo un kayak (stile di pesca) che è disponibile per l'uso su richiesta e disponibilità.
La fuga non offre attualmente internet / wifi, ma la ricezione del cellulare è ottima. Abbiamo persino utilizzato un hot-spot su un telefono per connettere più dispositivi senza problemi. C'è una TV che ha un lettore DVD integrato, che non è configurato per l'uso quotidiano ma disponibile per far vedere i film.
C'è una grande camera da letto che ha un letto matrimoniale, ma c'è spazio per culle e materassi ad aria nello spazio circostante. È anche possibile utilizzare facilmente un materasso ad aria o due nel soggiorno.
Preferiamo gruppi più piccoli presso la struttura, ma accanto a noi è un affitto doppio se siete alla ricerca di ulteriori affitti nella zona da combinare per un gruppo più grande! Per non parlare di alcuni altri elenchi a pochi passi dalla nostra posizione.

Cozy, Comfortable Cabin
This was our second stay at the Cabin. We love the location, the subdivision is super quite and has a neighborhood boat launch which is a big plus. The Cabin is like a home away from away with all the comforts needed for a great stay and the decor is super cute. Dusty & Lori are the most gracious hosts, easy to communicate with and always available when needed. We will definetly be back for another visit.

This place was so great. It was nestled in a quaint neighborhood. The house had everything that we needed and more. Lori was very responsive and friendly. They even have a guide book with directions to any local restaurants, stores etc.

Adorable, Comfortable Cabin Getaway
The cabin was decorated so adorable. It had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. The location is fabulous and the neighborhood is quite. The owners were so easy to communicate with and were very responsive. We are looking forward to our next stay in Sept.

You could spend your entire vacation right in the neighborhood with walks to the small boat launch and marina just minutes away or on the deck enjoying the shade trees and the birds singing. We enjoyed our trips to the nearby wildlife refuges and fishing on Lake Texoma. Lori and Dusty are great hosts and did way more than anyone who has hosted us before. The home is well stocked and very nicely finished. I highly recommend this property and hosts Lori and Dusty. And I almost forgot you have a nice quest quarters and you have nice laundry on site.

Anniversary weekend success!
COVID kept us from anniversary vacation last year but dusty and Lori more than made up for it! They made us feel more than welcome and made everything perfect. Could not have planned a better place!

Spring Break Getaway
Cannot say how much we enjoyed our stay here. The owners were amazing, especially Lori. The cottage is as described and they made sure that any amenity you could think of was there! It was such a pleasant surprise to see how much thought they put into our stay. From the wonderful gift basket to the stocked medicine cabinet, everything was top notch. We could relax and enjoy ourselves rather than have to worry about what we didn’t have. I recommend this place to anybody looking for a quality experience. We will be going back for sure. Thanks for sharing your beautiful place with us!

Hands down, the most pleasant vrbo experience i've ever had. Everything was exactly as described. Along with tons of sweet details i didn't expect. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Absolutely loved it, did not want to leave! Can't wait to go back! :)

Fantastic
I read rave reviews about this cabin and the owners before booking and they were spot on! Arrived to a personalized welcome note and basket of goodies from Trader Joe’s which was a really nice touch. Couldn’t have had a better experience, thanks Lori and Dusty!!!

Lori is amazing! Everything (and I do mean that literally) you could possibly want was provided. The property was immaculate and the neighborhood was very quiet. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat. It’s a hidden jewel!

Cabin was better prepared than a five star resort. Everything was perfectly maintained and organized. Incredible hosts and property. A must get away spot to slow the daily grind. We will be back!

Cannot recommend highly enough!
I was looking for a place for my husband and son (14yo) to get away for the weekend. This property was the PERFECT choice. Dusty and Lori really go the extra mile for their guests! I don't want to give away any of their secrets, but those of you who have teenagers in your life will probably click "book" within 60 seconds when I tell you that my son texted me "this place is so nice, and these people are so nice." Truly, this is not like other places we have rented from...they REALLY REALLY care about how their property looks (it is CLEAR they maintain it well), and that their guests have what they need to enjoy themselves. Their communication was so good (via VRBO messages, texts, documents they emailed ahead of time, etc) and they also recommended a great place to rent a jet ski (which my guys had a fabulous time on). My guys had a great weekend away, and that is due in a HUGE part to Lori, Dusty, and their uber-clean, uber-organized house.

Great Getaway
Dusty and Lori provided a great experience for the 4 of us. The house has everything you could need except for meals which was a nice touch. It was extremely clean which is important during the time of COVID. The place is minutes from the lake and has board games and a fire pit to keep kids entertained. Definitely will be staying here again.

Clean, Comfy, and Close
We had a wonderful experience staying at "The Getaway". It was easy to get to while still feeling secluded. Dusty and Lori have thought of everything that you might need and their place was VERY clean! It was perfect for our family of 4! We were able to easily rent a boat slip at the nearby Mill Creek Marina and was an easy drive there and back each day, sometimes more than once each day. While there, I did have a question and Lori was so quick to respond and accommodate us! We highly recommend their home for anyone who is looking to stay in this area!

Awesome location on Texoma Lake. Striper were biting early in the day and we were able to find some late afternoon shade on one of the nearby islands both days we were on the lake.
This property is the perfect place to go back to after a long day of lake activity. So accommodating plus a serene setting amongst the trees. Can’t wait to get back!

Lakehouse Bliss
We had the most amazing family vacation. Our absolute favorite vacation yet. Lori and Dusty are the most fantastic hosts. The Lakehouse is soo beautiful. Nestled in a sweet wooded area. They have thought of it all. Gorgeous mornings spent on the porch, natural light pouring in the windows and evenings spent roasting s’mores around the fire. Everything was soo well thought out. All the fine details were soo appreciated. This truly is a gem!!! We will absolutely be back!!

Perfect Lake House
Just wanted to tell Lori and Dusty thanks for the quick responsed and great lake house, the kids love it and cant wait to go again. Even though we really could have a plan due to school work and video chats but with the help of the homeowners and ALL the info layout and places around the area we got out and enjoy our time away from the city and mostly the kids being kept inside for weeks. Thanks again and will be back soon for sure!

My family and I really enjoyed The Getaway. Perfect location close to the lake! The cabin is clean and very very comfortable. We had an exceptional Easter weekend to say the least! Thank you, Lori & Dusty for being such great hosts!

Peaceful
This is my second time staying here and I have to say; the property owners have got to be the nicest people you'll ever rent from. The cabin is cozy and even though it was December and not exactly lake season it was still a perfect retreat. The open living room with multiple windows gives a very spacious and calming feel. The owners have amassed a very nice collect of books&games and are very giving in that they always leave a welcome basket for their guests; it'd be an understatement to say the owners treat their guests great! Thank you!

Beautiful! Highly Recommend!
One of best experiences in a VRBO!! Owners were amazing to work with and the property was beautiful and just what we needed. Pictures do not do it justice, it is paradise. Since we didnt know the area, we were a bit sad the lake wasn't closer, but really we didn't care, the house was all we needed. Highly recommend!

The property was well maintained and the neighborhood was safe. My contact with the local people seemed to be well friendly and helpful in finding directions.
