The staff was very friendly and helpful..

There were no blankets for the sofa bed. There were dirty sheets left on the sofa bed. The wait staff at the restaurant were understaffed. It took over thirty minutes to order food. Tried to call housekeeping voicemail was full so no message could be left. They ran out of egg rolls before noon. Was a little disappointed.

The apartment was just the right size with great bathrooms and a good sized kitchen. The pool was huge and not overly crowded. The restaurants had tasty food with the convenience of being on-site.

Nothing really

Location was perfect, beds were comfy and clean. Great communication with the host, problems were solved quickly with kindness. Kitchen was well stocked! Free shuttle to and from the nearby beach. Fast wifi was a plus!

We had to get 3 different codes for the condo entry within 2 days 😩 the last issue with this caused us to run late and we missed our boat tour (non-refundable) we had to repurpose those tickets.. bummer. Public beach access only 😩 no beach chairs included with the resort stay.. $50 for 2 chairs and a umbrella rental on the public beach.

The amenities were great and the room was spacious and accomadating.

The TV were a pain to operate and had to use my personal login info to even watch TV. Also the description of the room said it had a beach view.... Call me crazy but just because you can see the beach doesnt constitute having an actual view. The majority of what you could see was blocked by other resorts on the beach.

We loved the layout and comfort of the condo! We were very pleased with how nicely decorated the condo was. All the furniture, linens and dishware were high quality. The beds were so comfortable! Having access to the balconies from both bedrooms was so relaxing! It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer in the condo. The dryer took a few cycles to dry the clothes completely but still was nice. The pools and pool side bar were amazing! We ate one meal at the on-site restaurant and it was really good. Words can’t describe how enjoyable our trip was! We spent most of our time for the week at the resort.

When we entered the condo door there was a strong odor of garbage. We quickly realized our balcony was located right above the dumpsters. The facility power washed all around the dumpsters and the odor got better. Being close to the dumpsters turned out to not be a bad thing at all and made cleaning easier. There was still a odor coming from the garbage disposal, which was fixed with a little bleach and lemon juice bought at the Walmart right around the corner. The second or third day in we tried to use the dish washer to find it wouldn’t even turn on and just had a bunch of flashing green lights on the control panel. So I washed all our dishes by hand the entire stay. We ate most all of our meals at the condo with groceries bought at Walmart. On the fourth day we tried to broil chicken wings and realized the broiler inside the oven doesn’t work. So I cooked them stove top. The host was made aware and these maintenance things will surely be fixed before the next guests stay. I wouldn’t let that keep any future guests from choosing this location. Lastly there was everything you could possibly need in the condo for cooking, cleaning, etc except a dust pan. Looking back I wish I had picked one up and left it for the next guests. Over all this was one of the best vacations we have had as a family!

It has taken 4 days to have access to wifi in our condo. Nobody was responsible to correct it. No one was responsible: The Palms of Destin, Compass Resorts or Vacasa. It was the worst experience to have wifi in our condo. Last time, we had been booked in another condo after 3 days. We will not come again.

I didn’t like the room it very much needed to be updated! Especially the tv, they were old TVs, you cannot connect to Netflix or anything else. Some of the remotes weren’t working. The sofa bed wasn’t a sofa bed ,when you pull it out there was no mattress.

Great location

The vibe of the pool and the palm trees, the reggae music that was always playing, the easy access codes for the rooms and amenities, and our balcony in our room. We come here for vacation every year mainly because of their various pools and splash pad for the kids.

The fact that there are no waitresses or waiters, that you have to stand in line at the bar to get food or even a non alcoholic drink and order from the bar tenders. The bar tenders have dirty mouths and are rude and act like you aren't even there and don't have time to stop and make sure you ordered, every time I went up there they were cussing. My child was right there playing cornhole and I thought it was a family place, we don't talk like that in my household.. Also waited for over an hour for food, just for it to be sitting in the to go spot when I clearly and specifically ordered it for there, told them that and even sat down on the couch with the table under the umbrella waiting for it. Went up to these rude bar tenders and instead of checking on my food for me, pointed to the to go spot and said did you check over there in which I responded why would I when it's for here, and sure enough was sitting over there in a bag, without anyone even telling us NOTHING. Sitting there like idiots waiting to be served when apparently, you have to do everything here yourself and they don't care where they put your food or to notify you, even when you specifically said you wanted to dine in. That means bringing me my food to the table we were sitting at, not in a bag in the corner without notifying or calling out a ticket number. I'm a waitress/bar tender myself, I work doubles and overtime due to staff issues thru this pandemic also but my boss would let me go on the spot if I acted like any of these people working the bar. Or should I say standing there doing what they want, talking to each other, cussing with no sense of urgency or customer service skills in their own worlds like customers don't exist.

I feel like the room should of been cleaner. The sheets. Weren't clean and vacuum wasn't working well, dusty, would not get cold in the master bedroom also i and my family needed more toliet paper and paper towels also kitchen trash bags.
