Lovely conversion of typical Canarian farm buildings. Off the beaten track so will have to stock up (there is a village bar cafe but only open from Fri-Sun). But there are numerous paths crossing the village and going up and down. Only 45 mins drive to the observatories if stargazing (but it's also good from the front door). The host family and their local security (family dogs) are lovely and friendly and we would have stayed longer if we could have.

great accommodation, we lacked nothing

Comfortable apartment in one of the most beautiful places on the island. Thanks to the location - above the village, there is a great perspective of the ocean and the main trail. From here you will wander further or stay for a few days to experience the silence and beauty of nature. Well, I found here everything you need when you are wandering through the mountains.

This is a well-kept rural home away from everything, very quiet and calm. Situated at 400 meters cliff, right next to Barranco Fagundo viewpoint and the old Dragon tree, it offers spectacular views over the valley and the ocean. The host was very responsive and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom on the groundfloor, living room and well eqiuipped kitchen upstairs. Easy parking.

I was there in January, so it was rather cold at night without heating, but I only stayed one night and the blanket were warm, so no problem.

The scenery was the best there, no doubts. And the place has its own viewpoint of the cliff. Impressive. The area is very quiet. Wide courtyard and parking place. Awesome night views for star gazing. The house itself is nicely reformed and decorated. Kitchen is well equipped (no microwave tho). Getting the keys was easy and host was accessible and easy to contact. Everything was mostly clean.

Overall, the extra bed for the 3rd person. It's a couch and once open the metal bars of the junction get into your back. It's really uncomfortable for sleeping. Also the couch didn't have the bed prepared, we had to do it. I guess that's fine when arriving soon, but not if doing it late. I would prefer if the host asks before if we want the couch prepared or not. The property includes a "cleaning fee". However, before leaving the house, the host sent us a message asking to let the dishes washed and also kind of pretending we to take the garbage out. I can understand that as it's a remote place and maybe they don't go frequently, but then don't charge a "cleaning fee". We left everything clean anyway because we like to do it with or without cleaning fee.

It is a quite town.

The house is a small antic house but had humidities in the bedroom and water leaks from the roof once it rains. The bathtub had corrosion. No WiFi in the house. The owners are a German-venezuelean couple. The German lady was unfriendly and doesn't want to have contact with guests.

Great place for relax to go and stay there, amazing view, friendly owner!!!

a bit long traveling from the airport with curves

reasonable well equipped for self catering, very clean. very good bar/ restaurant in village would highly recommend - Bar La Gaza

interaction with owners who were on site was poor - could have been more friendly welcoming. Communication was via email during stay - no wi-fi & I do not have roaming. Why did they not communicate requirements in person? One reason I booked was because feedback had been positive regarding owners - what has changed?
