I was VERY happy with this vacation rental. I have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals, and I have to say, this is one of the best I have stayed in. It was super clean when I checked in. I had plenty of the supplies that I was supposed to have. Quite a few of the rentals I have stayed at have been short on utensils, pots and pans, etc, but this one had plenty of everything that I needed. It doesn't have a direct gulf view, but from the balcony, you can see the gulf and you have a very good view of John's Pass.

Staff was extremely helpful, location (close to beach and restaurants) was perfect. Only thing that we wish we had known was that while kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, etc., there was no coffee, filters, or any staples other than salt and pepper. For a short stay, it wasn't worth it to buy anything to cook so we just ate out. Fortunately, the coffee shop and restaurants are right across the street. We would stay again.

Beach place 304 was super clean and the check in process was fast and easy. The condo is bright and spacious and the location can’t be beat. Step out of the elevator and go right you are at the pool or beach. Step out of the elevator and go left and you are at John’s Pass. While unit is not directly on the beach the balcony has a view of the Johns Pass drawbridge, the Gulf and the activity of John’s Pass. Should stay here again.

We have stayed at Beach Place before but usually in the 3 bedroom units, this time we only a 2 bedroom which these units are closer to the road/intersection and we had a corner unit. This unit was quite entertaining until you want to go to bed and then it can be load (everyone has to do burnouts going up the hill on the bridge). As far as the unit itself, it looks just like the pictures and was acceptable but could have used a really good cleaning. There were a few things that could use some repair like a kitchen cabinet and the weatherstripping on the main door to keep out the lizards 😬. The only real issue we had was one night after returning to the unit, someone was parked in our space... we called the emergency number and there isn’t a plan or action to take for that.. so we had to decide if we take another unit’s space or park at the public spaces. We chose a space that seemed to be empty all week in hopes that our car wouldn’t get towed. But there needs to be instructions for the emergency number on what to do... the signs say those without parking pass are subject to towing but who determines that? There isn’t security. John’s Pass is always fun to walk around and watch the dolphins from the boardwalk.

The unit and location was great! Short walk to the beach, pool and John's Pass was ideal for our group. The only issues were with the kitchen. The unit needs an upgrade as it has a very old electric stove with uneven coiled burners, old cookware and limited cooking utensils available. We choose to stay in a condo vs a hotel so we can save some money by cooking some meals ourselves. Unfortunately, the cooking experience in this unit was very frustrating. A small investment into the Kitchen would be ideal to give the guests a more enjoyable overall experience.

Though the condo was convenient to everything and very walkable ,the condo was very outdated. There was also trash under the beds.one of the beds in the bedroom with the balcony had a bad mattress. The place could also use a deep cleaning.

We were very comfortable here. It is a end unit with lots of natural light. Everything is in working order, clean and nicely decorated. the hightop table and chairs made it impossible to just sit and enjoy the balcony it was not very inviting or comfortable. There were no extras like cards, games, no beach towels. And not enough hand soap for the bathrooms. The kitchen had a lot of essentials but no cleaning supples to clean the glass table, like maybe a bottle of windex to clean the countertops in the kitchen or baths. No salt and pepper and the large frypan needs to be replaced it is not flat on the bottom we had a hard time for an even fry it lifted in the center. We went grocery shopping but didn’t realize we would need to by all these items. The unit should be stocked with these supplies.

August 2019 Stay
Excelente estadía ! El departamento es muy completo, amplio, luminoso y perfectamente equipado, tiene lavavajillas, y en el mismo piso hay una lavadora y un secarropas. Posee dos sillas de playa. Además se pueden alquilar reposeras y sombrillas (30 dólares al día). La playa es muy amplia, así que siempre había espacio disponible. El condo está ubicado justo frente a John's Pass, y la vista que teníamos de éste desde el balcón era hermosa. Si bien no pudimos hacer un late checkout porque el depto ya estaba alquilado para los días siguientes, la administración nos permitió dejar las valijas hasta las 17.00 hs que debíamos partir hacia el aeropuerto y utilizar las instalaciones.
Excelente relación precio calidad. Sin duda volveríamos.

We LOVE Beach Place... however this condo is the least stocked one. We have rented some with VRBO here. But we will rent directly from now on. This one doesn’t have simple things like salt, pepper, mixing bowls, a deck of cards, ink pens, little things can make a difference when trying to rent!
Can’t beat the location and the office staff are great!!
