9/11/22 - 9/17/22. I preface this by saying I rent a nice home on the intercoastal every year and have for a long time. This home is well equipped. The house was spotless upon arrival. Agent was always available although we had no issues. The privacy and water views are spectacular. Convenient location. I would definately recommend.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us! We spent hours and hours relaxing by the pool and near the water. It was wonderful to be able to see the local sights then return to relax in this home. Mike, the property manager, communicated excellently and made check in a breeze. I would recommend this home to all!

Pretty much as described on VRBO. Aside from some normal and minor things, this was all my wife and I could ask for. If there were jets in the spa would have been perfect! Otherwise the spa makes a fun kiddie pool if you have small kids. Fishing was fairly good...caught some huge catfish using shrimp. Just cast out to middle of canal. Hooked up on something huge early one morning (6:00 am) free lining a pilchard against the wall. Drag was set but it still managed to run and spool me out a bit. Got under the neighboring dock and broke the line :-( My guess was a snook but could have been a red. Either way definitely had some size. Was able to tour Sanibel/Captiva beaches and some some fantastic sites and homes. Pinchers restaurant at the Westin Resort was really good and highlight of our final night there. It was just a 4-day getaway for my wife for our anniversary and her birthda. More importantly it was a "getaway from the kids/grandkids vacation LOL. However, we are already discussing coming back with them at this same location in the future for a family trip.

We loved, loved the home, patio, dock. Loved sitting on the watching turtles poke their heads up and the huge mullets constantly leaping out of the water. We really enjoyed how peaceful it was outside. We made plans to go out and dress up for a birthday dinner,but, nobody wanted to change out of their swimsuits and leave the patio/pool/home. We wanted to just stay home. So we just ordered steaks with door dash and warmed up the leftovers on the fabulous outdoor griddle the next day. We loved the griddle. We'll be back.

The house was amazing, loved the “spreader” and kids loved all the wildlife and pool!

Just as pictured, spotlessly cleaned, very comfortable beds, plenty of space and privacy, very well stocked, fantastic patio and pool area with nice floats, tiki hut over water for morning coffee and sunsets, beautiful landscaping, fun kayaks. No negatives! Tina was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. We hope to be back for another girls trip soon.

The house was great. All the amenities you will need. Kids caught fish right off the dock and in the kayaks.Everything was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back to stay here.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this property. We stay in VRBO homes a couple times a year (not always leaving reviews) and this was such an amazing place to stay. The neighborhood is quiet, home was clean, the pictures are spot on....no surprises, you get what you see. We spent a lot of time at the home, more than we thought we would because it was so relaxing and perfect. The dock and chairs are perfect for watching all the action in the canal, which we absolutely loved! SO many different kinds of fish, mama & baby turtles and what I believe could have been a manatee. There is some boat traffic on the canal but not enough to be a bother and honestly everyone seemed very friendly. We had no problems finding places to eat and shop a short distance from the home. I recommend the farmers market on Tuesdays....good stuff going on there. We went to Bowman beach on Sanibel Island a couple of days, drove down to Fort Meyer's for dinner at Junkanoo on the beach....perfect and fun! The fridge/freezer went out after a storm blew through and Tina (property manager for our stay) was able to get us taken care of as soon as possible. We had to buy a large umbrella for our beach trips and didn't want to take it home so we left it for future renters to enjoy. We were disappointed that the fishing poles were (2 out of the 3) were broken and any type of tackle was a mess in the garage. We bought our own and left our extras there. Our favorite part had to be the pool and dock. SO relaxing and clean, the majority of our time was spend there in the peace & quiet. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely stay again. My only critique would be to have half window shutters in the large front windows. The home is so open and while I adore the natural light from all the windows we didn't like the lack of privacy (our opinion) from the large windows that have no covering at all and anyone from the street can look right into the kitchen, dining and living room area. The street isn't terribly close, however at night with lights on in the home you can really see what's going on inside without a problem. Was that a deal breaker? No, even with that I would stay again, all the other amenities easily make up for it.

The property is a spacious and airy villa with an outstanding private rear vista overlooking a wide canal and mangroves. The outdoor space including deck, lanai, pool and tiki hut is one of the most generous we have stayed in with fantastic views. The master suite is huge with a large walk-in double shower. The property manager contacted us prior to arrival to arrange check-in and when we stated we would be arriving late evening came to see us the following day. They were easily contactable, friendly and responsive to our queries replacing broken beach chairs and re-supplying gas for the grill that had been left empty. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need, although the cabinetry is starting to look tired in places. The coffee bar was well stocked, and pantry had a variety of condiments, and herbs for any home-cooking. The large deck does have several 'soft' spots in need of attention however it is so big there are plenty of places to sit / lay and enjoy the villa's best feature - its outlook and outdoor space. The kayaks allow you to explore the local area from a different perspective. It may be of interest to some (we wish we would have known prior to booking) that the hot tub / spa does not have blowers fitted although it can be heated seperately to the pool. The property manager whilst we were there advised us that the levels in the hot tub spa were mysteriously dropping when the pool pump was not active despite previous attempts to rectify however this was still being investigated. (It may be fixed by now) In summary the outdoor space and location make this a lovely villa which with some attention to detail could be even better. Having raised our disappointment regarding the hot tub with the owners a 5% refund has been conditionally offered pending this review............

The property was GREAT! 3 married couples and we all had lots of room. Great Kitchen and plenty of living space for you to relax and hang out in. But Oh my word the pool!!!! We only left the house one time to go to the beach. Otherwise we were in or around the pool. And with a view like the one you get here, why would you want to go anywhere else. I am already thinking of booking again and taking our kids here. Thanks again for a great and relaxing week.

The house is spacious. The kitchen well stocked. Quality linens. The beds and bedding were very, very comfortable. Parking access to the garage was a bonus especially during the rain. Although the fish caught from the dock were disappointing, good memories were made here. The deck with no hand rails and some extra high steps is why it was rated a four instead of a five.

The property manager, Mike contacted us before we traveled and was available for questions during our stay. The outdoor space was amazing, super quiet and relaxed. The dishwasher needed maintenance or replaced but was not a major issue for us. TV's in the bedrooms could use a refresh, if not they at least need more than the roku remotes for ease of use. Wifi was good. Totally enjoyed our stay, next time we will book 2 weeks minimum.

Booked Casa Mojo for a family vacation and it exceeded our expectations. Absolutely beautiful place with everything you could need.. We did not want to leave. Loved having the pool/ hot tub to ourselves and used the kayaks in the canal. Very private and quiet space. Tina was wonderful in answering any questions we had and was quick to respond. (Thank you so much!) Definitely will book this rental in the future!

We stayed at Casa Mojo for two weeks over XMas and NYE. The house was clean and plenty of space for us adults (2) and our kiddos (ages 5 and 9). The pool and hot tub were fantastic and easy to use (just follow the directions from the management (they also left a paper showing how to turn on the heat for the pool/hot tub). Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of towels in each bathroom. If you forgot to bring something most likely another guest may have left the item there for you to use (shampoo, non perishable foods, etc). We would rent again. Had many people reach out while there to get the information so they could book :)

We loved our stay at CasaMojo and spent most of our time in the pool area! Very quiet with stunning sunsets. The property manager was very easy to deal with and explained everything upon our arrival. Already talking about another visit!

The house was beautiful! Very private outside area around pool. Didn’t see anyone other than the boaters out back. The owners are very easy to deal with and Mike, the property manager was extremely accommodating. He met us upon arrival and gave us the tour and explained the how to’s. Absolutely amazing week in the house. Would highly recommend!!

Overall, a good experience/great relaxing location. The owner was very helpful in trying to resolve several challenges we had encountered- wifi/hot tub related. Note to owner/property manager- maybe focus on more TLC /cleanliness prior to renter's coming in- spider webs inside and outside/overgrown trees or shrubs blocking walking paths etc. Lastly- maybe provide a simplistic guide to how to work some of the techy stuff- TVs mostly. Thank you.

The house was absolutely amazing and we didn't want to leave. We did a lot of fishing but unfortunately the tiki hut was supposed to be done being built while we were there, but it never got done, so there was no shade when fishing. The sunsets were so pretty and the fish jumping all day was awesome. The pool was fantastic and we were in it every day. The views are incredible. Overall great stay and we would definitely stay again.

The photos on the website looked so beautiful that I was worried that reality wouldn’t live up to the pictures. But everything was so amazing. We loved sitting by the pool and looking at the natural scenery and beautiful sunsets. It was even a fun experience watching the afternoon thunderstorms. The kayaks were also very nice. We’d go back and recommend this to our friends.
