Quiet and peaceful York Beach get away. Imagine yourself in a freshly renovated home close to beaches, restaurants and entertainment. This large 2-story, 4 bedroom and 2 bathroom ( plus fabulous grand outdoor shower) home located on the point of the "Nubble" peninsula, a highly desirable neighborhood in York and steps to Nubble Lighthouse and Dunne's Ice Cream.
Listen to the surf, and check out the ocean views as you relax on the first floor deck. Here you will feel the cool ocean breezes while having a cocktail after a day at the beach or greet the sun with a cup of coffee in the early morning. The house has a large yard on a very quiet private street. Enjoy a lovely stone fireplace for cool evenings.
Located at 15 Spring Street and named Sea Light View, the home has four bedrooms. There are two spacious living/entertaining areas on first and second floors giving larger groups room to spread out. There are 2 full bathrooms, brand new washer/dryer, dishwasher, a new 60” flat screen smart Streaming TV, and High-speed WiFi internet access that is reliable. The home is beautifully remodeled and freshly decorated. The "Shark" room has two bunks and sleeps four. The "Mermaid" room sleeps two in a Queen size bed and the "Nautical" room sleeps three with a Full bed and twin. The primary sleeps two with a king size bed. All beds and bedding are new. Two lower deck has ample room for eating and drinking your post-beach fare!
Short walk to Short or Long Sands beaches and restaurants, bars, arcade, York Wild Animal Park, and outlet shopping and more close by.
Enjoy cooking with new stove and new Weber gas grill. The kitchen has everything needed to make a great meal and enjoy inside or al fresco on deck or yard dining areas! Don't cook or want to? then enjoy one of the many amazing local restaurants available in York or surrounding towns.
Rental comes with bed linens and beach gear (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, toys). The home is also equipped for families with young children with port-a-crib, high chair, toddler bed railing, and more. Don't worry about hauling all that gear! If we don't have something you need, we'll do our best to find it and have it there waiting for you.
While not technically handicap accessible, there is a two-step access to home and the lovingroom, kitchen and dining plus 2 bedrooms with full bath with walk-in shower on first floor for those vacationing with a guest who may not be able to manage many stairs or have limited mobility.

We traveled to Maine for our niece's wedding at the View Point Hotel and the home was incredibly convenient (short walk). Walked in to find a ready-to-light fireplace and fresh hydrangeas on the table! The kitchen and entire cottage were extremely well-equipped with little extras you might need (like a flashlight). The furnishings were extremely comfortable especially the porch and gathering/seating area upstairs. Cannot say enough about communication with the host - Roseann answered questions almost immediately and checked in periodically to make sure we were comfortable with no issues. If you're looking for a comfortable family home on The Nub to kick back and enjoy, this should be your Maine destination!!

The property was as listed, spacious, bedrooms were set up to meet our family’s needs which included an infant ( pack n play, high chair, infant bathtub), but there were many extras making it extremely comfortable. The outdoor shower is the nicest one I’ve stepped foot in and the Hans grohe shower apparatus helped to introduce our 3 year old to showers. The yard and porches have lots of seating. We enjoyed grilling and Al fresco dining. Location is fabulous, easy walk to the beach, the lighthouse and the center of town. Roseann is a most gracious host. She sent info about the area prior to our arrival, and remains accessible if needs arise. We are contemplating making this an annual family event.

Group of 6 women on a winter weekend enjoyed this property so much that some didn’t want to leave! Plenty of comfy spaces on both floors to hang & chill out. Great family weekend
The location of the home is perfect. Close to everything but still very peaceful. We had eight adults and there was plenty of room. Everything you need to cook a great meal. We really enjoyed the backyard for cornhole and fire pit. Plenty of room to have a family game night indoors also. We hope to return in the summer months, although it was absolutely beautiful in the fall. Very clean and comfortable. Hosts were very responsive to any questions.

What a wonderful place!! The location was perfect and the home was amazing! Adorable. Very clean and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable too, which is hard to find. The host was easy to reach and she provided great suggestions! We will definitely be back if we do another girl’s trip in Maine. Highly recommend.

Nubble family fun!
Our family had the most amazing week here on the Nubble!
The house worked well for the 10 of us. The kids loved the bunk room and their parents and we grandparents all had our own rooms. The beds were VERY comfortable and most rooms had two fans. The kitchen although small was well equipped and provided us with all the essentials. There is a huge living room upstairs with a large TV. The adults escaped upstairs for games etc. while the kids slept downstairs in the bunk room.
The outside decks provided comfortable and ample seating. There was a great Weber grill (very clean) that was easily accessible on the deck. We loved watching the stars and enjoyed a full moon. The outside shower was a blessing and was the preferred way to clean away the beach sand.
Short walks to the Nubble and Dunne’s ice cream were almost daily occurrences. The beach is not really within walking distance so we needed to take cars to the beach by 9:30 to get parking.
We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here and hope to return in the future.

Re-Connecting with Family in 2020
Perfect Columbus Day weekend getaway - something the family needed in these unprecedented times. The house was the perfect rendezvous spot and delivered on everything needed for my young nephews (ages 5 & 6) to my mother with a few mobility issues. The house was close to so much (shopping, dining, attractions, etc.) and a nice area for walking the neighborhood. The owners were very attentive even asking if we had any requests and while I never met Roseann I felt like I knew her. When you do something strictly by an internet search it is always helpful when the owners communicate to put you at ease and they did that in spades. Would gladly return to the area of York and this house in the future,,,,,

Fall Get Away 2019
The town of York and this home are well worth the visit at this time of year. The colors are spectacular and the weather is nippy, but not too cold. Then you come back to this amazing home with its fireplace and open areas for all to enjoy. Plenty of large windows for the sunshine to pour in. Beds are very cozy for a good nights sleep.What more could you ask for?

Wonderful stay
This is a wonderful property in a great location. We have 4 small children, and they provided all of the baby gear we needed so we had less to transport. The owners are so friendly, out of there way accommodating and provided lots of pointers and recommendations on the local offerings. We hope to return sometime soon. Thank you!

Perfect Maine Getaway
Felt immediately at home in this property, which was spacious for our 3 couples. Enough separate living spaces for individuals to have some alone time, and large enough communal areas for everyone to sit around and spend time together. Were in town for a wedding at the Viewpont Hotel and this couldn't have worked better - a two minute walk away! Walking distance from the lighthouse, a lobster shack, and ice cream stand, and the sandy beaches are a short drive away.

Fabulous house!
The house was perfect for our week long stay! House was neat, clean and nicely decorated with comfortable furniture that you could just put your feet up and feel at home. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you might need for cooking any meal. We used the grill as well and there are two outside areas for dining - each with lovely views. The upstairs with the large flat screen TV was perfect for a laid back evening - again, you could just kick up your feet. Although we didn't use them, there were bikes, boogie boards, etc for the kids. The house is walkable from Dunne's Ice Cream - a must do! There are a couple of beaches around and we drove to the beach a couple of days but it's certainly walkable. Lots of great restaurants around even for those who may not be fond of seafood. The lighthouse is also in walking distance and beautiful at night. The house is in a quiet neighborhood so you don't have to listen to a bunch of noise yet your still close to the activity. We wanted some peace and quiet so this was perfect for us - sitting on the deck reading or swinging on the porch screen. I would highly recommend this rental and look forward to coming back again!

Perfect house, pefect location and great hosts
What a perfect family place to stay for the 4th of July weekend. No worries about being stuck in heavy traffic as we easily walked to the Lighthouse, to Foxes Lobster House, the ice cream parlor, the beach, and into town with great views of the ocean along the way. House was clean and spacious and stocked with everything, and both are decks awesome. We ate dinner on the lower deck and took in the sea breeze on the upper deck at night. My son was impressed with the Weber Genesis grill and my grandson loved the rocking "moose" and toys. Roseann, our host, was equally awesome, understanding our special needs with a small child and had everything set up well for our arrival. I'd give our experience a 6 out of 5 if I could.

It made traveling from California to Maine easier since the house was stocked with everything needed for 18 month old. The house is in a great quiet neighborhood that was walking distance from the Nubble Lighthouse. Close to the beach and restaurants. 7 of us stayed very comfortably in this home and enjoyed all being able to stay in the same place. Roseann was very communicative and responded very quickly when I had questions and leading up to our arrival. Centrally located, perfect beach house in York
"Sea Light View" is located close to *everything* in York, ME. It's a 3 minute walk to the picturesque Nubble Light House, Fox's Lobster House, and Dunne's Ice cream (all a must visit in York!), and a short walk or driver to either Short Sands or Long Sands beach, as well as York's Wild Kingdom, and all the eateries York has to offer.
The property has EVERYTHING a family could wish for; a fireplace, a fully furnished kitchen with a dishwasher, a huge flat screen tv upstairs; two separate dining areas (up and downstairs) and enough bedroom space for over a dozen people. They have everything you'd need for the beach - chairs, kids toys, bike, and a beach cart to haul it all. It was nice to be 5 minutes away from the beach at night; sitting on the upstairs deck and reading, all you can hear is the waves in the distance and, if you're lucky, the drone of the foghorn from the Nubble.
We have an 18 month old and a 4 year old and the house has everything they needed, including high chair, baby gates, toys, a packnplay / crib - it was great to go on vacation and not need to remember to pack that stuff! Even the downstairs deck is secured with a baby gate, so we didn't have to chase our little man around while we enjoyed lobster on the deck.
"Sea Light View" is the perfect spot for a family vacation - winter, spring, summer, or fall. I can't recommend this place enough to ANYBODY looking for a great family getaway!

Perfect Getaway for Friends or Family
Our book club escaped to this lovely home near Nubble Light for a wonderful weekend. Roseann had set the table up with fresh flowers and a welcoming treat. Truly thoughtful! The house had everything we could have needed for a weekend, week or longer. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had small luxury toiletries. While we didn't use any of the beach toys/chairs, there seemed to be plenty and in good shape, if only the weather had been a bit warmer. The decks were wonderful for sitting out in the morning and/or evening to enjoy the views and fresh ocean air with coffee or an evening beverage. We spent most of our time in the living room, but enjoyed the "family" room upstairs as well. The house sets up perfectly for multiple families or multi-generations with several areas for people to break off and gather/play games/chat/read. Roseann (the owner) was in touch a few days before our rental started to make sure we knew how to access the property, she also checked in with us mid weekend to make sure everything was going well and ask if we had any questions or problems. I have been renting vacation homes for close to 3 decades and this was by far one of the best experiences I have had. The property was clean, exactly as described, the bedrooms were comfortable, living spaces were homey and decorated beautifully, Roseann was available if needed and the area was perfect. I hope that we will be able to come back next year for another book club weekend!

The owners were very willing to work with me on accommodating the guys and making them feel like they were at home. They loved the location and the house had every comfort of home! Nestled into breathtaking nature...
This property is IDEAL for anyone seeking a quiet beach trip without the tourists!!!
The home is immaculate and inviting. It's large enough that we could share it with good friends without being crowded or out of our price range.
The two living areas allowed the kids to play playing games and watch movies on one floor, while adults enjoyed a quieter evening of nightcaps and conversation beside a cozy fire!
The ocean breeze is accessible from every room of the home, and the decks (upstairs and down) prove perfect for grilling, sunrises and sunsets, & ocean views.
With room enough to store our surfboards, bikes and cars we were able to enjoy all that the charming town and pristine beaches had to offer.
There was ample room for our group of 8...the location, home and owners made this THE PERFECT beach trip.
This is truly a wonderful get-a-way...and we can't wait to return!
