Our family thoroughly enjoyed our Eastham vacation at Ann's beautiful home. The home is perfectly located, is quite spacious, and has gorgeous marsh views. Ann was very responsive. We particularly loved playing lots of ping pong! Would highly recommend this home for a Cape vacation.

This is a beautiful home right on a salt marsh, with gorgeous views wherever you look. Spacious and comfortable, airy and bright, it has all the amenities you need including new mini-split AC. Its location near the bike path, beaches and Rock Harbor is excellent. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We had a wonderful vacation in this lovely home with its peaceful field/marsh view from most windows. Nicely appointed. Short drive to bay beaches which was almost a daily ritual for us - at a minimum for the sunsets! Easy drive to the ocean and other towns on the Cape. Great stargazing at night on the deck! Homeowner was responsive to texts, addressing our questions quickly.
First time renting in Eastham and this is a great spot!

We had a great stay at this lovely home in Eastham. There was lots of room for our whole family of 8 (including a 1year old). This house is well stocked with everything that you need for a wonderful vacation on Cape Cod. When at the house, everyone enjoyed sitting around the huge table to play games, do puzzles and enjoy family dinners. We also had lots of fun playing ping pong and foosball in the basement. There are beautiful views from every room and from the outside decks. This house is also in close proximity to many beautiful bay beaches and ocean beaches. We loved going down to Rock Harbor beach to see the sunset. So many things to do - so little time!! We can’t wait to go back!!!

Wonderful
We had a wonderful week renting Ann’s beautiful home. Her communication was outstanding. The house is even better than the pictures. The beds are comfortable! The house is stocked with everything you would ever think to need. We had so much fun in the game room in the basement during the evenings. We hope to be back next year!

Memorial Day/Week Vacation
The house large and fully equipped with new appliances. It had everything you would need for a great vacation. The bedroom are bright and airy with individual air conditioners. The eating area is open with a splendid view of the marshlands. Plenty of comfortable seating is available all with views. We liked everything about the house and Ann the owner. We are ready to sign up again for next year. Can’t give a better recommendation than that!

Perfect Cape Escape with Gorgeous Marsh View
We loved this house! It was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family to spread out as well as a beautiful living/dining area to convene for meals, conversation and games. The view from the deck was so tranquil and ever-changing, the perfect "vacation view". We saw plenty of egrets and herons and even a couple of foxes and a coyote. Communication with the owner was also seamless. Highly recommend!

Spacious, clean home
Our family enjoyed the deck with beautiful views and the well appointed kitchen/dining area. The main TV is in the loft area which made it tricky to watch it after kids had gone to bed but the house had plenty of room to spread out and relax! The owner was very responsive - would recommend this property.

The absolute best
We've been coming to the cape for literally decades and it's really hard to find a property that balances the feeling of really being on the cape (low key and focused on the essentials) with being comfortable. This house did that beautifully. It's in the absolute perfect location, has gorgeous views, is perfectly appointed and feels like quintessential Cape Cod. The house is very well laid out for families/kids so that there is nice common space but also privacy. We loved it and can't wait to come back.

Spring on the Cape
Ann was an incredible host. The main living area is incredible - the views!!! Wonderful location for kids to enjoy the quiet street and easy access to beaches as well as Orleans for food markets, etc. Really nice property enriched by welcoming owners!

Lovely winter stay!
Ann managed to accommodate our family at very short notice (1 day!) Her house is beautiful, with lots of natural light and views of the marsh from all the living areas. The kids enjoyed the basement with the ping pong table and foosball. Ann is a gracious host and answered all questions very quickly. The location is great -- we took daily hikes on the nearby Boat Meadow Beach and got delicious coffee/food from Sunbird Provisions in Orleans (5 mins away). We loved our stay and hope to back when weather is warmer!

Great trip!
Did a post Christmas trip to get out of the city. The property was just as advertised, and Ann was super helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. We had a very chill week, within walking distance of the rail trail on which you can get into Orleans. The house has nice touches: a little chair next to some books in the kids room, a writing desk in the upstairs bedroom, enough seating in various parts of the house for everyone to be comfy in. While we didn’t make use of the decks, they would have been wonderful in warmer weather. Even though it was cold and windy, the house stayed warm and cozy. It was a great trip, and we would totally come back.

Lovely Cape Home
Ann's home in Eastham was the perfect get away for me and a few of my friends! The house had everything we could have needed and Ann answered all of our questions promptly. Would love to return!

Wonderful and Convenient Home
We had a wonderful stay in Eastham. Ann's house was perfect for our family. It was very close to the bike path which made accessing lots of beaches within and beyond Eastham convenient and at no cost. Every room had a beautiful view and there was air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room which kept everyone cool. The outdoor shower was convenient after swimming and the two decks were perfect for outdoor cooking and watching the stars. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Perfect location
This beautiful home is tucked away in a quaint neighborhood but is centrally located to the bike trail, downtown Orleans, and just a short ride to Nauset beach. It is deceptively larger than it looks. I stayed there with my husband and 4 boys (ages 10-16) and we even had my brother and sister-in-law come stay with us for a couple of nights. There was plenty of room for all. After a long day of boogie boarding at Nauset, we all enjoyed coming back to the comforts of this house. The game space downstairs was a HUGE hit with the boys. Eating on the back deck was fun as well as waking up to the beautiful marsh views. It was a magical week! Would definitely return.

Amazing Stay
We booked this beautiful home for two weeks in August. The property, views, and location were perfect for our group. We look forward to our next visit!

Lovely home, great location
The home is lovely with lots of windows facing out over the marsh. We were just 9 mins to Skaket Beach (bay side) and 15 to Nauset Beach (Atlantic). Both covered by same $20 daily parking pass (free after 4:30 pm I believe). Quick 6 mins to giant Stop & Shop grocery. Inside the home we had plenty of room to spread out, using the Q bedroom, D bedroom, and one (of 4!) of the twin beds in the 3rd bedroom. All of us slept well. A/C window units were nice since temps were over 80° during the day. There is also a futon in the 2nd floor living area. W/D were very helpful, foosball and ping pong were lots of fun. 2 nice decks. Kitchen is well equipped. Overall the house had a very nice feel.

Lovely Long Weekend
My two sisters and I had a mini-reunion and this house was perfect! A well appointed kitchen for many leisurely dinners. Beautiful views and very peaceful. The house was clean and as described - we had no issues. Ann was very accommodating and we are planning on a return trip next year!

Stunning view and terrific location
We are annual visitors to the Cape and loved the location of this cute house. It was a great home base and launch point for our excursions ranging from Truro to Chatham. In addition, the location provides easy access to Orleans Center and all the shopping there and a very quick bike ride to Rock Harbor or Boat Meadow Beach. Our other favorite bay side beach, First Encounter, was less than 10 minutes away by car.
One extraordinary feature of the house is the view out the back. The meadow is magnificent and star gazing is not to be beat. The generously sized dining room table, decks, and games in the basement made entertaining a snap.

excellent rental! Great location, fantastic host
This is a wonderful vacation rental. Spacious, extremely well stocked, pretty but very comfortable. We are a family of four travel with our mothers. The three bedrooms, pull out sofa and futon was more than enough for our family. The two decks provide great options for sitting outside and the views of the marsh are breathtaking from almost every room in the house. The house is jogging and biking distance from the bike path and the town of Orleans just a little over a mile away for shopping and restaurants. Ann was extremely accessible and very nice. Even offered us the opportunity to start our vacation early when the previous tenant left a day earlier. I highly recommend this rental, we'll be back!

Great vacation! We are going back.
We stayed in this fantastic home in August 2011 and we are going back this year. Our 3 sons, who range in age from 4-14, enjoyed playing in the basement/game room when we were not at the beach. The house is very clean and bright and an easy drive to many beaches, restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed going to the ocean side beaches after 5:00PM when parking was free and available, a perfect way to tire the kids out at the end of the day. Another highlight was the Wellfleet drive-in, the kids had a blast, and it was nice for them to be able to experience something that was a big part of my childhood. We can’t wait to go back!!

Very Comfortable
Stayed in July of 2011. The house was exactly as described and was very comfortable. Ann (the owner) was very accommodating and easy to work with. Ann was very prompt when responding to all e-mails, mailing of key, etc.. Everything needed was in the house as far as utensils and appliances. Propane grill was very nice to cook out on the deck. The washer and dryer were very handy after a day at the beach. Outdoor shower also very convenient. The air conditioners were very nice in the upper bedrooms as we had a couple of days where it was almost 100F. There is another in the dining room area that actually cools most of the down stairs and even the downstairs bedroom when the bedroom door is left open. There is also a box fan that can be placed in window if AC is not needed. Our girls, 20 & 22 enjoyed the basement game room with TV and DVD player and watched movies every night. The house was immaculate when we arrived and the cleaning people were coming in as we were leaving. Beautiful house is in a very quiet location. We brought our bikes and the rail trial is very close to get onto from the house. There is a beach you can ride bike to that is pretty close, at the end of Bridge St (I think a parking sticker is required if driving). There are other beaches you can drive to on either the bay side or the ocean side that are within a couple of miles. Bay side is warmer water, less waves, Ocean side colder, more waves. Bay side low tide you can walk out about a half mile. Some beaches are more crowded than others and if driving, parking was 15.00 a day or you can get a parking permit for the week although we didn't and only drove a couple of times and biked the rest. To save on parking you could ride bikes as long as you have a way to get all the beach stuff on your bike. No charge to park at beaches after, I think, 4:30 or 5. The town of Orleans is within about a half mile or so with all the food stores, mini golf, ice cream, gift shops, etc. that are needed. We went to Young’s Fish Market at Rock Harbor (about a mile away, maybe) just about every day for live lobsters, clams, fish, and the best lobster rolls at pretty good prices. Very nice people at Young’s, but cash only. Orleans is centrally located so you can go either way on the Cape and be there in about a half hour depending on traffic. We drove out to P-Town, about 25 miles, one day when it rained. Very enjoyable visit to Cape Cod and would recommend the area and this property

Great house for a family vacation
I stayed here with my extended family --we're all older with no little kids. We really enjoyed the house. It was roomy, well designed, sunny and very comfortable. There is a huge dining table for big family meals. The downstairs bedroom was ideal for my elderly Mom with an attached bathroom on the same level; and there are just a few steps to get into the house. The finished basement TV room is good for watching movies at night. The decks are relaxing places to sit and read, cook out on the grill, and enjoy the views. We made friends with the neighborhood crows and watched deer on the marsh in the early morning. The house feels very secluded with great views of the marsh but is close to Orleans center, Rock Harbor, Boat Meadow beach and the bike path--all conveniently reached without needing to go on route 6.

A Cottage with Style
This is one great cottage, it was clean, spacious, oraganized, it had everything you could possibly want in a vacation home.
The views off the back deck were magnificant, the cottage was nestled in a natural enviroment, you felt like you were the only one there.
The owner called to see how things were going and asked if we needed anything, they were so accomodating.
I would highly recommend this cottage for any family wanting a true Cape Cod experience.
