Overall it is a good accommodation, excellent price-quality ratio. you just have to have the courage to accept the gecko

an excellent price-quality ratio. very good breakfast with the possibility of adding extra elements (for a fee), very large accommodation for only 4 people, large, bright rooms, equipped with incredibly large bathrooms. exemplary cleaning every day, clean pool. everything superlative! an accommodation that reflects the traditional Balinese spirit.

due to the location, through the rooms and next to the rooms you will also find the gecko in a rather large size (approx. 15 cm), something that made us tense the whole time

Unforgettable stay, such a gem!

Absolutely my favourite place to stay in Ubud! We loved everything. The location is just so perfect, completely private and the surrounding area is so beautiful, the cute little rice field right next to the villa, the pool, the garden, the terrace- everything just perfect. The design of the villa- so unique and artistic architecture, a lot of effort has been put on the little details, you can see the deep respect and love for Balinese art and style. The host Gede was so kind, caring and nice- thank You so much! We hope to come back one day :)

Our best accommodation in Bali we’d love to be back maybe with our family next time specially that there is two bedrooms

The place is amazing one of the best accommodations we’ve had, you’ll find everything you need; amazing view, nice spacious terrace, free WIFI, free water provided, restaurants around are nice for delivery, helpful staff specially Gede he’s a genie to provide you with anything you might ask for!

The place is kind of hard to go out at night if you don’t have a scooter so staying the night can get quiet boring so a speaker or tv would have been a plus specially that its a place you would rather stay in than go out!

Exceptional

The best place we stayed at so far. The villa, the pool, the bathroom, the calm area in which the villa is located, the food (great breakfast, good lunch options) are just a few things we loved. Ubud is around 20-30 minutes drive away depending on traffic. Get a.scooter or a Grab (around 5-7usd). This might be a downside if you want the bustle of the city. For us it was an advantage because we loved the relaxed atmosphere.

High humidity in bedroom - Open the windows, whenever you can.

Beautiful with GREAT staff

We had a wonderful time here. The property was beautiful, clean, and well appointed. The staff was MORE than helpful and accommodating. They made us delicious food at really reasonable prices. We loved the open air living space and air conditioned bedrooms at night. They even got all the really small details right like making sure the mosquito repellent was lit prior to us getting back from our day’s activities. Really a top notch experience.

We did run out of hot water in the shower a few times but my family tends to take long showers. It really wasn’t a big deal.

Super gorgeous villa but creepy at night

Extremely gorgeous property with a view of a rice field. While the villa has open walls and windows, the property itself is made private with walls of plants covering all sides. The bathroom was a family favorite: an outdoorsy but private space with rock lined showers. Kitchen was also fully stocked with dishes, silverware, tea, sugar, and water. The staff were also extremely helpful by letting us drop off our luggage early and delivering breakfast in the morning. Loved it!

The villa is beautifully decorated; however, at a closer glance, the paintings and statues are a bit creepy at night. Most of the paintings are portraits of women that are hung in front of or next to the beds. There is also a life size statue of a woman’s figure that stands in the corner of the villa that catches the periphery of your vision—making you think someone has entered the property. Both of these decorations are especially eerie once the sun sets as there are no other lights that show besides the ones from the property itself.

A wonderful getaway from busy life.

The villa was truly beautiful and peaceful. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were big and tasty.

This wasn't a problem for me and my family but if you are not comfortable with bugs, gekos and dogs, Ubud in general won't be a good place for you to stay.

Best place

Hi dear future visitor! We stayed at this villa for several days and it was one of the best experience that we had. Marvellous villa with great swimming pool and of course fantastic view. 🌴🌸 As we liked this place so much we decided to have a little fun game for you “find a unicorn 🦄 and pink flamingo 🦜” for your fun at the pool. It’s hidden somewhere in villa. Please enjoy this creatures and hide them back when leave to other place with a little clue were to find them on booking.com, airbnb or other. After you find it please make photo for Instagram with #unicornflamingochallenge it would be great to follow the game for future. ♥️🙏🏻😊 1st clue : the horse tale will show you the way. 2nd clue: where Buddha sleeps is always peace. P.s. Thanks to owners mr. Paul, his lovely wife Tamara and of course to mr. Gede and rest of staff for having us and treat like family 🙏🏻🔥💆🏼‍♀️ We will definitely come back to you again.

Awewsome! Just beautiful. Everything,from stuff,villa,service. We fall in love with all house,amazing pool,the nois of jungle and animals in evening... Is a very quiet place,and away from lot trfic and city noise. The service is perfect and available almost 0-24. Thank you all staff and we will back for sure.
