It was delightful and charming! Nicely decorated and supplied with everything we needed. Great location as well. The host was outstanding and very personable. We’d stay there again without a second thought! A definite 10 out of 10!!

We had 6 adult women staying at the house. We were exploring Acadia National Park and shopping and food in Bar Harbor and the area. The location is central to getting around to the park, including the "quiet side". Ellsworth is near by for all other needs.

Very comfortable, clean and inviting. Kitchen well equipped and bathing toiletries provided. Do recommend some branch clearing around driveway as can be difficult to find. Also reflective numbers on mailbox to assist at night.

Everything was perfect about this cottage. It was Spacious, clean, well stocked. The location was close enough to drive easily to all of our desired attractions, yet felt remote and very private. The gazebo was perfect for family games. The TV and movies selection was amazing and perfect for rainy days. Kitchen was very well stocked. Internet and Wi-Fi was excellent. Host texted us to see if we needed anything or had any issues. Communication prior to check-in was excellent. Could not have asked for anything more. One of the best aspects of our family trip to Bar Harbor.

The house is lovely and my family enjoyed our stay while we were visiting Acadia National Park. June was a wonderful host and was very responsive to any questions we had.
The bedrooms are spacious and very comfy after long days of hiking. The updated bathrooms are great. And if you are planning on spending time inside there are tons of movies for you to watch. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook meals there.
The area around the house has plenty of places to eat and get supplies. If you are looking to go to Bar Harbor, It does takes about 25 minutes, but it is an easy drive.

Ideal house location in Trenton for accessing Acadia and also close to stores in Ellsworth. Property nicely setup and enjoyed the video library in the evenings.

This is the fifth time that we have rented the cottage.
The rental is very convenient and clean.
The amenities are top notch. We tend to eat in a lot and the kitchen is well stocked ,with everything and anything to prepare meals.
It has been 12 years since we have been back to the cottage and the outdoor screen house was a welcome addition.
I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the Bar Habor area.
Hope to be back sooner than later....

The cottage was in a good location for us, close to the park but not in the "busyness" of Bar Harbor. The kitchen had everthing we needed to prepare our meals, and the beds were all super comfy.

We had a great stay at this property and it was within easy traveling distance by car to many attractions both on and off of Mt Desert Island. The house was well furnished and immaculately kept. Beds were incredibly comfortable and big! We had a little difficulty with Vacasa sending us the entry code but our host June was very helpful with solving that issue. We would definitely stay her again!

This cottage is just as described. Best beds we've ever had in a vacation rental - very comfortable with quality linens. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need. Private and quiet surroundings, yet handy to all of Acadia National Park and the Downeast areas. Hostess was always available and very helpful with any questions we had. Nice-sized yard with screened gazebo as well as a good-sized deck. Lots of DVDs, books, and games for rainy days. A great space for small or larger groups looking for a comfortable, roomy place to call home while exploring the coast of Maine.

This is a charming cottage in a great location for getting around in the area. The beds are comfortable (so important) and everything we needed was provided and more. The owner goes above and beyond with hospitality and being easy to reach.
The price can't be beat for what you get and location, and there is a bakery with great coffee just down the road. Not far from grocery stores and restaurants. Near Mt. Desert Island and all there is to do there and in other directions as well.

This cottage is absolutely lovely. Our stay was short but the property manager was prompt and responsive. The bedrooms are large, the home is well maintained and feels warm and welcoming. We had great weather for our stay so we were mostly on hikes and taking in the Acadia scenery. Kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you for the great memories.

I stayed here with seven other girlfriends and we had a wonderful stay. Our host, June, was very responsive and we had everything we needed.

Wonderful cottage at a wonderful location
This is an excellent place for a family to stay. Some rentals I've stayed at previously would leave you half a roll of toilet paper and that's it. June has thought of everything and then some. We were even surprised by some goodies that the kids really liked. June is a great communicator and really took care of us, even remotely!
The spot is secluded, which is good, and it also benefits by being not far from anywhere you likely want to be. We have two kids under 10, so access to the big stores in Ellsworth, especially Hannaford, was really nice. MDI is jus a hop over the little bridges, so no problems there either.
The place was spotless and it is well appointed. I wish I could have spent more time in the Gazebo, but that's my fault. :) The linens and towels are great and the beds are excellent. The lamps are beautiful. I could go on, but I think you get the point. This cottage is well taken care of by an owner who clearly loves the cottage. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with a stay here.

Our first Maine experience
Goose Cottage was above and beyond our expectations of a rental home. Overstocked kitchen, rooms very spacious, both bathrooms beautifully remodeled, owner was attentive to all our questions with quick responses. Home location is perfect for the area of Bar Harbor and Acadia Natl Forest. Three adult couples had room to stretch out, have their own space and gather together in comfort. Home was very clean. This area is breathtaking and we will for sure be back. Thank you June!!

Lovely House!
The bedrooms were a little larger than expected. Furniture appeared to be solid oak and in like new shape. The bathrooms were renovated/modern and clean. It's about a 15-20min drive to Bar Harbor. Not bad! Nice gazebo area with screens/storm windows installed. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots and pans and the basics. The owner left some goodies/breakfast for us. It was like staying at a B&B without someone there to actually make you breakfast.

Great location - Wonderful trip
We had a wonderful stay in June's cottage. The house was exactly as described and worked great for our visit to Acadia National Park. We enjoyed hiking and exploring during the day and coming home to the cottage for movie or game night each evening. (She has a great selection of movies and games to choose from.). Fabulous Cottage Near Acadia NP
Goose Cove Cottage is a perfect vacation house. It is super clean and decorated very nicely. Also it provides privacy and is very quite at night. Acadia National Park is in short distance and driving there is quick and easy. The famous Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound is nearby. Wifi is very good. Kitchen well equipped. Owner June provided detailed instructions, and always answered our questions quickly. We enjoyed our stay there, and thanks June for the welcome gifts. We would definately return.

Beautiful Goose Cove Cottage
We just spent a week in Mane and stayed at the precious Goose Cove Cottage! It is an absolutely beautiful home, with lots of room for a large family! The cottage is so tastefully decorated and you will feel like you are at home! Outside, is a wonderful gazebo to sit and rest after a long day. The owner is outstanding to work with, she has put so much pride and care into the cottage. She made several recommendations for us on things to do, places to buy food, etc. She has thought of everything, lots of videos and games for everyone. The property sits in a very quiet area, we saw deer a couple of days. The cottage is within 10 minutes of the airport, close to several great eating places, and Ellsworth is a short drive away to plenty of food stores. I hope we can visit again! You will not be disappointed!

We loved our stay in Goose Cove Cottage! June, the owner, has thought of every detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. It's location is an excellent choice if you're frequenting Acadia National Park &/or Bar Harbor. It's location is quiet & secluded & only 15-20 minutes drive from the park. You won't be disappointed when you choose to rent this cottage. We drove all day from Southern PA & arrived late in the evening to find a welcome gift bag from our host! How very thoughtful of her! She also spoke with me on tbe phone several months before our travels. This was our very first trip to Maine and she gave us some suggestions & tips while vacationing there. We would definately return! Thank you, June, for a very lovely stay in your cottage!

The place is beautiful and the location is excellent. It is right at the entrance of Acadia Park and close to supermarkets. The house is well taken care of, clean and the owner is great. Will definitely come back again.

Truly a Goldilocks’ “just right”
June has thought of every amenity a guest could. The comment from each of us is “just right for our needs and more. The nenes were super comfy (just right), the kitchen well equipped (just right), and the living spaces were (you guessed it) just right, including a deck which was just right for yoga and a gazebo which was just right for cards late into the night! I will definitely recommend and if we are fortunate enough to return, will try to book another stay.

Perfect for Coastal Maine visit
Goose Cottage is a great hopping off point for doing all things on the coast of Maine! June, the owner, and her team made sure we felt SUPER welcomed and her home is very comfortable and super clean! She was also very helpful about pointing out local resources for various food questions. Super modern appliances and Audio/Visual equipment are available along a mind-bending array of DVDs for any rainy days. Beds and linens are super comfortable and everything was spic and span. The back deck is just incredibly comfortable and I think we spent almost every evening out there after we got back from our adventures each day. We were able to tool around MDI, Acadia National Park, visit Bar Harbor, the Schoodic Peninsula, and we had a shockingly good experience with a whale watch tour. If Covid were not an issue, we could have even gone all the way to see the Roosevelt home in Canada, Campobello International Park. The home feels tremendously secluded without being too far away from anything. I cannot say enough good things about Goose Cottage and June as the owner of this property!
