Love the secluded beach side

If I was being picky then I would say they could be better on the finer details. Our shampoo decanter wasn’t working properly, safe was not working when we there. But they’re just minor details.

The ultimate serenity experience

The property was gorgeous, so serene, a good location for peace and quiet. The staff were so nice and considerate, especially Sam.

Location can be tricky to get a taxi to drive out to (even with the app), so would recommend having some taxi options to prebook if wanting to go out at night.

Visit in High Season

Location of hotel right on the beach was great! Caroline and other staff were very kind. Food was good and cocktails were great too. Hotel work hard to keep beach in front of hotel clean. Hotel offers terrific value for money.

We visited in June, and the hotel and restaurant were very very quiet. This might suit some, but we found the restaurant to lack atmosphere. Some wait staff could do with additional training. Sadly the construction site next-door meant that further up the beach was very dirty, not the hotel's fault.

Enjoyed my stay, in particular the location being on the beach, the crushing sound of the waves

location for breakfast was excellent, I found breakfast selection limited, would be great to have a buffet style breakfast with more Grenadian options on offer.

The top sheet and pillow on the bed was soiled with brown stains, on reporting it I was told the room had been checked prior to me checking in and the sheets etc were fine, and asked if I am sure it was like that when I arrived. I did not appreciate the insinuation, customer service is everything, mistakes happen, the sheets etc should just have been changed without the attitude. No cutlery in the room so could not make tea or coffee, no one was around or cutlery out at 6am when I want looking for it. If you provide tea and coffee then also provide utensils, I should not have to go walking around the hotel looking for those items.

Peaceful, relaxed, breathing views and good fresh local tasty food.

The staff went above and beyond to serve and help us. They were friendly and genuinely lovely and knowledgeable. The location is amazing the beach is beautiful and has security walking it daily to keep us safe even though tho the area is quiet and safe too.

With only 12 rooms available, this hotel and restaurant is truly 'Boutique'! Mike & Lynn and their staff really care about your experience at La Sagesse and so their guests have been coming back year after year. Located away from the busy Grand Anse resort area, here you can connect with all the quiet natural beauty that Granada has to offer. If you like a beach with palm trees but no crowds, great food and warm service you won't be disappointed at La Sagesse!

A perfect retreat for a wonderfully relaxed sunshine holiday on the lovely island of Grenada.

Wonderful location right on the beach. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful fresh fish every day for lunch and dinner with fresh produce and specially cooked food. It is quiet and idyllic.

Amazing stay on secluded beachside property!

The hotel is in a spectacular and very tranquil setting. The beach is really splendid. The grounds and rooms are immaculately clean. The staff are all really friendly and helpful, and they treat you like family. The restaurant serves excellent food, and the fresh catch of the day is unfailingly delicious. Very good [a la carte] breakfast. Good selection on the menu. Portions could be a little more generous though....

Looking for high quality

Staff is trained to an exceptional level of professional hospitality. Their goal is to make sure you have a good experience. If you want roaring nightlife, bars, loud music and crowds for fun, this is not the place for you. It's, right on a the beach of a peaceful bay on the Atlantic side of the island, which means its not on the tourist strip of Grand Anse.

Wonderful quite hotel right next to the beach

I loved my stay! Great place to forget about everything and just rest. Wonderful small hotel next to a quite beach. Almost nobody there. Staff is awesome. They greeted me by name almost since I got there. I stayed in a big room at the main house. No AC but there's no need. I was perfectly ok. Bed is comfortable, good bathroom, wifi worked well. Food is good though more options would be welcome if you stay for several days. Price is unbeatable. I hope to come back!

Beautiful room - much better than the pictures suggested. We had the family split level with 2 beds downstairs - it was lovely. Great food very good selection and excellent quality. Lovely breakfast. Gorgeous will certainly return.

Cold white bulbs in some of the lights in the rooms spoil the evening vibe - but it's a very minor point.

hidden gem

Very friendly, unassuming hotel on a quiet bay that far exceeded expectations. The surroundings are a far cry from the larger resorts along Grand Anse and feels that much more authentic. We stayed in a cottage; high vaulted ceilings with a sizeable terrace. big thanks to Caroline, John, Wendy and the gang. And a final shout out to Ziggy the friendly resort cat.
