Pleasant

Very bad and durty area. The room It smelled of stale air and it's damp. Not windows at all, noice from the car repair srevice from the opposite side of the street.

A small and cosy place, nicely decorated. Not far away from the city centre. Close to the trains. PlayStation is a nice bonus.

Sofa wasn't in the best clean condition. The area isn't the most beautiful but it's not far away from city centre.

Good location, nice apartment, not too friendly host, poor kitchen equipment.

Good location, nice structure & interior of the apartment.

From the chats felt quite unwelcoming host. I asked several questions and the host answered only after a loong time when we solved the issue by ourselves already.

Average place, close to Catania Central Station

The apartment is situated very close to Catania Central Station which was also the main reason to choose it. When we arrived, the room was cool as the AC was on, so that was nice as it was very hot outside. The bed is big and comfortable enough for a short stay.

We were a bit surprised to see the location did not look as presented in the pictures on Booking: - the place needs some renovation for sure (the walls, the furniture etc); - there was a persistent strange smell inside (not sure if it's due to the lack of proper ventilation - there are no windows, or if it's something else like mold).

Well communicated and quiet location, perfect for a couple trip.

You get a fully equipped flat available from street for yourself. Location is really good when you are planning to travel with public transport. Close to the main train station (Syrakuzy, Taormina) and AST bus station (Etna). 15 minutes to main square. It is quiet at night and safe to walk in the evenings (not everywhere in Catania it is safe to walk alone). Very nice restaurant (Mangia) is nearby. Host is flexible with check-in/check-out hours.
