About this apartment rental

Casa Melton is a two-level apartment for 8 people, with 3 double bedrooms and private bathroom in each room.
The entire apartment is equipped with air conditioning, heating and WI-FI; outside there's a large garden with car parking, barbecue bbq area, wood-burning oven and shared solarium and swimming pool.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, bathroom with shower and a bedroom double room with private bathroom (suitable for 2 people).
The upper floor, accessible both by stairs and with the internal lift, has two triple bedrooms with double beds, a single bed, private bathroom with shower and French balcony (suitable for three people).
All rooms in the house are equipped with private bathroom with shower, TV, wardrobe, air conditioning and free wi-fi.
At the complex there's also a shared washing machine.
The complex is a few steps from the center of Sorrento (Piazza Tasso), the central station and the Sorrento port; mearby, approx 2 minutes walk distance you'll find Restaurants, Pubs and Supermarkets.
NOTE: Inside the structure, you will be welcomed by the owner's family (lived here); there are quiet dogs, available to give you all the useful information for a wonderful stay.

We absolutely loved our time here! Gino was an amazing host willing to go out of his way to meet our every wish😀the pool was so relaxing and Casa clean. While not high end and polished it was family oriented with two very happy dogs and off the busy Sorrento centre but within easy walking distance! We highly recommended this resort!!😀

Only a few minutes walk to town center, but so quiet and peaceful. Very helpful owners live on the lemon orchid. Children loved the ducks and other pets walking around. Clean, modern, tastefully furnished and fitted. Very nice stay. Thank you!

Our first trip to Italy and we couldn’t believe how lucky we were to find Casa Sorrento for our week stay in Sorrento. When two couples are traveling together, it is difficult to find two bedroom accommodations that are equal for both couples. Casa Sorrento has two bedrooms and two bathrooms of equal size. It was very clean and was well equipped for preparing simple dinners that were purchased at the local market on our way back to Casa Sorrento after a day of sightseeing. The grounds are well maintained. There is a very nice swimming pool, and a large gazebo where we enjoyed relaxing with a glass of wine and eating dinners The property has lots of lemon trees and the feel of the Italian countryside, but you are only a few minutes’ walk to the main piazza, the train station or the ferry (for trip to Capri). The uphill walk from the train station to Casa Sorrento is about 15 minutes, but with luggage it can be difficult. We are all in our 60’s and made the walk, with luggage and backpacks, but it wasn’t easy. The trip back to the train station (downhill) was a lot easier. We took day trips to Capri, Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast. We also walked around Sorrento several days, but would have enjoyed even more time. It is a beautiful city and the people are very warm and friendly and always very helpful. We all want to thank Antonio and his family, and Luigi and Alex for a wonderful week. They were all very helpful and made us feel very welcome in their country. The Italian family lives on the property and will assist you with anything you need. They will arrange for a car, a taxi, suggest a great restaurant or just answer a question. We hardly ever saw them, but when we needed them they were always available. We spent three weeks in Italy, but the week at Casa Sorrento was the most enjoyable. We hope to return again soon. The two Couples from Sacramento, California

We just returned from spending a week at Casa Sorrento at Residence Santa Lucia. Antonino, his wife and everyone else involved were great to deal with and always available when we had questions or to inquire if we needed anything. The place was spotlessly clean inside and out, in a quiet neighborhood with mostly the sound of roosters crowing in the morning, birds singing and if a gust of wind came up a lemon or orange may fall off the tree (there are many on the property) We did not need a car and could walk downtown easily or to train station or port for Pompeii or Capri. It is a great place for a large family gathering as there are several separate apartments on the property. Ciao!
