Home in the hills

The location is truly a picturesque village. Gorgeous meadows and snow capped peaks in the distance. Depends on the time of the year, there would be snow on the property too. Property is very cosy and the couple Beatrice and Armin are warm and friendly speak fluent English. This makes communication easy. They even offered to drop us to the station due to heavy rains. Wonderful experience.

Hard to find anything to not like. Id say nothing.

Will return if ever i have the call to visit Switzerland again.

The location was stunning ,the owners were delightful people who were not afraid to strike up a conversation with us ,the food served was out of this world and prices were easily on par with other swizz resorts , they also had the friendly dogs as well as other animals.

Superb

nice barn, nice hostess; and quiet location close to a local lift, good view from the studio.

building seems to be old so ceilings are quite low, possibly not more than 205.

Vacation stay

Very nice studio with a terrace. On a nice Velo route up to the mountains or to the lakes. The kitchen is nicely equipped, we used it to cook our meals. Next do is a farm where you can buy egged, honey, cheese etc. nice capsule coffee machine. You can park the care and the bikes just in front of the house

Nice place to rest and travel back in time

Great staff, friendly and welcoming. Appartment is well equipped, with a nice and large terrace looking at the Rigi. Clean and comfortable. Food offer in the resturant underneath is lovely.

Breakfast colud be included in the price for one night stay

nice and quiet

Been greated by the owner on arrival and she was very welcoming. The dogs are very nice too :) Nice little ranch/farm, the studio in the “main house” is comfortable, the fridge is a plus. If you dont plan on eating at the restaurant, kitchenware is available (didnt use it though). There’s also a bbq on the studio terrace which can be nice if you’re staying for several days. The surrounding view is quite beautiful especially at sunset (in my opinion) =)

Nothing that we did not like, i’m just giving information : I saw complaints about insects. I don’t think we had mosquitos but there were indeed a bunch of flies - which did not bother us because it is a farm and it just goes with the package :) although i suppose some mosquito nets would be useful on the windows. Also i think there is a mistake about the check-out time on booking.com - it says 12-14h and is actually 11am but not really a problem i guess.

The place is clearly different from anywhere else

The owners were very nice

The place is not clean, it is a shame because it could be very nice, but it looses a lot of interest because of this.
