Lovely apartment, conveniently located.

Beautifully clean, spacious, well equipped property with thoughtful touches like the lovely hand soap in the bathroom and kitchen. Private outside area was enclosed with table and chairs, and herb beds. The house is in quiet, residential location and secure parking is available beside the house. A well- stocked supermarket (Conad City, Via di Rocca Tedalda, 49) was an easy 5 minute walk (cut through the Q8 fuel station forecourt). Giovanna was a very helpful host with good English skills. Best to arrive from the Firenze Sud exit of motorway, then it’s less than 5 minutes drive to the apartment. Also best to catch the no. 14 bus into the city rather than drive. Tickets are available from Bar I'Barre "Il Ponticino dal 1919", Via Aretina, 252, 50136 Firenze. Suggest checking with Giovanna how the tickets work. Some say they only last for 90 minutes, others that they last all day. Word of warning - validate the ticket the minute you get on the bus (machine is near driver). This stamps the time and date. We didn’t know we had to do this and the ticket inspector imposed a fine of 40€ each (ignorance of the law is no excuse apparently) and took our details from our driving licences. The fine can be paid where the tickets were purchased.

Very nice and helpful owner, we got tips and useful advices. Very comfortable apartment with area for sitting outside, large parking space, close to the front door. Would definately recomend to anyone who want to visit Florence!

Amazing stay in Florence

Super clean and comfortable big appartment! Safe with private parking for the car a and you can go to the city centre by bus ( near a bus stop). With all the amenties . Giovanna gave us instructions and tips for the town!! Thank u!!! Amazing!

in additional to the humidity issue reported in the previous review, the statement of 15 minutes from the center was not correct. the fastest way was by car if there was no traffic to reach the center or by scooter.

What a lovely welcome!

What a fantastic place to stay! Great location for our day trip into the centre of Florence.. we got the train in and a taxi back. Giovanna was SO helpful and welcoming - making local recommendations and offering to organise our taxi for us. The apartment was very comfy and well equipped (it even had a washing machine which we were thankful to make use of!).. we would highly recommend!

Very kind host, well equipped property, you have everything you need and more. Giovanna made sure that our stay was pleasant and answered all our questions. The property really is 15 minutes away from the city center ( by bus ) and you will have access to all the info about means of transportation in the city on a card on the will. Great experience overall, kindly recommend!

I do recommend this place. This place should cost more.

The owner is super friendly, she met us on arrival, explained everything about the flat and Florence. The flat exceeded my expectations, a big kitchen with a terrace, bedroom. Everything is in the Italian style. Also, a valuable plus is a parking spot, I parked my car in private guarded parking near the house.

Very clean, modern, and spacious apartment close to the center of Florence. Giovanna, the hostess, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming and gave us two bicycles so we could bike into Florence along the river as well a nice tips for Florence. Highly recommend!
