About this house rental
“Brac Magic” truly lives up to its name. If you really want to get away from it all, this magical home is the place to be. It is on the Southeast side of Cayman Brac - the wild side - rugged and secluded. All you will hear is the gentle crashing of waves and the palm trees rustling in the breeze. You'll rarely see another person here, yet you're only a short drive to restaurants, shopping, the public beach and dive shops. On one side of the property is the ocean, and opposite, the majestic bluff towers above. As Brac Magic is on the windward side of the island, there are no mosquitoes, so you can sit outside in the evening without worry. The house is situated to take advantage of the cooling ocean breezes, and offers a shady spot to relax at all times of the day.
The oceanfront house sleeps 6-8 people, has 2 1/2 baths, wifi, air conditioning, BBQ and laundry facilities.
The master bedroom has an incredible ocean view, large ensuite, and king bed with great mattress. The second bedroom also has a cozy king sized bed, along with a twin over full bunk for the kids or for extra guests. The main bath is directly accessible from the second bedroom or from the main living area. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, and has granite countertops, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge with icemaker and filtered water dispenser. The living room looks out on the ocean and includes a queen sofabed for extra guests. You will be entertained in the evening with a smart TV so you can access your Netflix account or enjoy our hundreds of DVDs. There are also board games and a library including books of local interest. The wifi has excellent range and works throughout the yard. There are ceiling fans in each room for when you don't need the air conditioning.
Outside, you will find covered decks for shade on 3 sides, the solar powered pool, a poolside half bath, and an outdoor shower. Swim, sun by the pool with a good book, beachcomb, or relax in the hammock under the shade of a large sea grape tree. Barbecue outside and dine on the deck while watching the waves. This is a great place for birdwatching, and the near total darkness at night makes for incredible stargazing from the pool deck.
There is a rinse station and drying rack for easy maintenance of your dive/snorkel gear. The washer/dryer are placed in the attached garage to keep the house cool and quiet, but are just steps away from the house. There are lots of little extras here including a combination safe, 2 bikes, beach towels, inflatable pool loungers, pool and beach toys for the kids, and a cooler you can take to the beach.

We just returned from 10 nights at Brac Magic. I really hesitate to share this, because why would we want more people to become interested in Cayman Brac and this property? But, for owners Lynn and Geoff, I will. The location is absolutely spectacular. Right on the beach where we were always treated to incredible views of the surf, often with a wonderful breeze. The house was perfectly sized for us as a couple. As happens with any VRBO, there were a few hiccups, but the property manager was helpful and the owners are very responsive and eager to make sure all is well. One note for those who love to grill, as I do. The BBQ mentioned is quite small--a portable unit--so it is not really practical for "grilling" and full meal prep. Don't get me wrong, we very much look forward to staying at Brac Magic again. But it would be great if the property eventually came with a full-sized grill. The dive rinse tank and drying rack were perfect, again for us as a couple. For more than two divers, it might be do-able but I think it would be a bit cramped. Of course, these are relatively minor concerns within the context of the entire stay and property. It is beautiful, well cared-for, and delightful. But please stay somewhere else, especially in November and June. :)

This was the PERFECT getaway and I couldn't have been more happy with this property. If you want PEACE AND QUIET, then this is the perfect vacation rental. I was there for 9 days and NEVER SAW ANOTHER PERSON! House was very clean and as advertised. Owner has added extra touches like a cupboard full of beach towels right next to the door that accesses pool. Unexpected rain shower? You'll find four umbrellas. Power outage or a walk on the beach at night? You'll find several flash lights with extra batteries. Pool toys, snorkeling equipment and two bicycles are in the garage. Lynn, the owner was very helpful and wants to make sure that her guests are taken care of! If you are looking for a fine powder white sand beach and excellent restaurants and rowdy nightlife, this is not the place for you. Stay on Grand Cayman. If you are looking to get away in a peaceful and quiet modern house with all the mod-cons in a spectacular setting, then continue on to Cayman Brac and Brac Magic. Thanks Lynn, I hope to visit again!

This is our second stay at this house . We Love it. It’s clean, that’s important to us. It had everything we needed. You are absolutely alone out there and that’s why we like it so much . So many little things the owners have done to make your stay nice that I notice and appreciate. The bed was surprising to me I slept just as good as at home . We rode the adorable bikes and enjoyed them. The house has snorkel fins which is really nice because those are hard to pack. The sound of the ocean and the breaking waves is something that will bring you back too. I cooked all of our meals the kitchen had everything I needed. I can’t think of anything we needed that wasn’t there . The pool was really nice it’s so clean and beautiful; part way through someone came and cleaned it. The owner is super responsive, couldn’t be nicer . I already miss the island of Cayman Brac.

Brac Magic IS Magic!
Our second stay at Brac Magic, and it lived up to the high expectations we had from our first trip. The owners (Geoff & Lynne) were great to work with, fast in communications, and have a great property manager. We'll keep this on our regular vacation rotation. In summary, 5-star accommodations coupled with peace and quiet. A recipe for a great vacation.

A little peace of heaven!
This place is beyond beautiful, we felt like the world stopped just a bit, how peaceful and beautiful this spot is. Best place I ever stayed. If you want to enjoy your vacation with nothing but the sounds of the ocean all day and night in a magical place, then Brac Magic is the place for you!

Brac Magic was magical, very comfortably furnished and equipped, it was fantastic, my happy place was in the hammock under the sea grape tree, our teen boys loved the pool especially at night when the pool is lit from the underwater lights and the stars!
With high speed internet connectivity everyone was able to find something to do, even if that was simply napping. Plenty of room for our family of four.
We are looking forward to our next stay!

Ultimate getaway staycation
Brac Magic was magical, very comfortably furnished and equipped, it was fantastic, my happy place was in the hammock under the sea grape tree, our teen boys loved the pool especially at night when the pool is lit from the underwater lights and the stars!

The house is brand new, sparkling clean, and has all the amenities. There are bikes to use and a charcoal grill. It was fun to walk the Long Beach in front looking for treasures. Four beautiful parrots came and entertained us one day. The washer and dryer worked great. Cooking was easy with all the kitchen supplies. WiFi worked well. I loved having the big closet with lots of hangers!! Sunrise and sunset were beautiful. It was very quiet there and the king bed was so comfortable. Enjoyed a lovely bonfire with all the washed up driftwood. Thank you for a wonderful vacation ❤️

A wonderful secret
I never like to tell people how great a place is in case they become my competition when it is time to book again, but in this case, I will. Brac Magic home is truly wonderful. We loved this quite home. It was just as the owners described and as listed. I do not think we could have picked a better place. This is a home where I would stay again!

Paradise
What a beautiful piece of private paradise! We truly enjoyed our stay at Brac Magic. The villa was laid out perfectly for views of the ocean & the bluff. We also loved the privacy that you get on this side of the island. We can’t say enough about how thoughtfully appointed the villa was. You literally only need to bring a swimsuit (or 2) and pick up some food at the Marketplace. We celebrated our anniversary there by grilling steaks & sipping champagne oceanside. We will definitely be back!!

Peace and Quiet
Brac Magic was a great getaway. The home is new and super clean. Everything was as described in the listing. It is on the low populated end of the island and great for relaxation. If we go back, we would want to stay here again.

For The Love of the Brac
This property was PERFECTION. It gave us the privacy and level of amenities e desired. Got to watch the surf roll in every morning over coffee, get lost by relaxing so much that we named some of the soldier crabs and lizards, then marvel at the night sky and how many stars God put up there!
Lots of room, a place to do laundry so we didn't have to pack much, but that pool was pure bliss!!

Perfect Island Getaway!
Brac Magic is the perfect solution to get away from it all. Everything about the house and property is picture perfect from the fully equipped kitchen, to the large flat screen tv, to the fabulous pool and deck area, where we spent 99% of our time. This was our second time to the Brac, so we knew what to expect, and this didn’t disappoint, the property is even better than it shows in the VRBO listing!
Don’t come here expecting the beat of the drums in discos, flashy bars and 5-star restaurants, because what you get is the pounding of the surf on the beach right in front of the house, beautiful sunshine and a nice breeze on the covered patio, and solid island food from Barry’s Golden Jerk, the Barracuda Bar (great wood-fired pizza!), and the Captain’s Table, along with night skies so full of stars that you can fall asleep in the loungers poolside looking up at them because you don’t want to go inside!
We sought solitude to get away from work/life pressures, and while we did have two CBC officers walk past the house one morning, we literally saw no one on the beach the entire stay. The property manager Jeff was easy to work with, he let us know when his crew would come to clean the pool, and was available to deal with anything that could come up (nothing did!).
The owners were a dream to deal with, and they make it easy to do business with - they accept major credit cards, their communication is timely, and are genuinely interested in making sure your trip goes as planned.
We’ll be back to visit, and Brac Magic is where we’ll stay!

Sweet Solitude
Brac Magic is just that...Magic! Lynn was amazing during the entire reservation/trip at this lovely home. My husband and I just loved how quiet and peaceful this property is! The house was set up perfectly and had everything we could have needed.
Our days were spent outside beside the pool and in the ample shaded area under the porch. There are no obstructions to the view that seems endless!
And when it was time to do our few dishes, I loved the beautiful bluff out the kitchen window.
Jeffery (the property manager) and Chris (pool maintenance) were awesome; super kind and informative.

Fabulous house, perfect location!
This house is wonderful! Location couldn’t be better! Right on the water....beautiful sunrise views and peaceful sound of the waves. We were a little hesitant to book this property since it had no reviews, but took a chance and were glad we did. House is NEW and CLEAN. It was very well stocked with any appliance, utensil, gadget, etc that you might want. Master bed was comfy. A/C worked great. Floor plan ideal for 1-2 couples or a family. Pool was refreshing with plenty of lounge chairs and regular chairs. Lynn was great to work with and answered all my questions throughout the reservation process. She made arrangements for someone to meet us upon arrival to take us to the house, and even helped with communication to them when our flight was delayed. Cayman Brac is a great island to explore. It’s small and you can cover all the main attractions in a few days, which is perfect as that leaves plenty of time to just hang out and enjoy this great property.
